The governor also reiterated that Lagos may be recording large cases “soon”, adding that over 7000 samples had been tested in the state.Relaxing the lockdown is a dangerous process of trial and error. I pray we get this NOW!

The only case in which the benefits of lifting the economy-chilling COVID-19 restrictions outweigh the costs in lost lives would be if the epidemiologists are lying to us about people dying. The question remains “What if they are right?” Are we ready to hit the reset button? What if we are wrong? Are we ready to start afresh. Be patient, don’t become a patient.

The number of new cases confirmed now at all-time high

Ezemarcel:Unfortunately, coronavirus is invisible and has trans-boundary capacity, and will spread exponentially. HIV had vaccines, coronavirus do not have. Majority of the population still lack immunity to COVID-19 and we’ve only succeeded in testing a fraction of the over 200m Nigerians. It’ll be such a huge risk to relax the lockdown. For once, I think Nigerians should hold government accountable and stop acting like dummies. |
strafist911:Time You Registered and Joined Nairaland: 2017 I’ll simply take a pass here. I won’t be able to dignify you with a response. |
ignis:We are at war. We need to kill our enemies and not the people. I believe this is happening simply because this is not a physical war. The government is more confused right now! People need real leadership in time like this and not just “rushed decisions.” |
Relaxing lockdown in Abuja, Lagos and Ogun is the most useless decision any government can make in time like this. This decision was taken as if our leaders have X-Ray vision to know when the virus attacks. No matter how hard you look, you can’t see germs with your eyes. It shows that the FG don't know what Virus we are dealing with. For me, if it’s public health versus the economy, the only choice is public health. The only case in which the benefits of lifting the economy-chilling COVID-19 restrictions outweigh the costs in lost lives would be if the epidemiologists are lying to us about people dying. I hope we do not regret taking this decision. Because this vicious virus exercises no discretion in choosing its prey (whether hungry or angry; rich or poor; old or young; vulnerable or invulnerable; sickly or healthy), I am echoing this piece of advice to our leaders to provide palliatives to her citizens to stop the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus instead of relaxing the lockdown. To my fellow Nigerians, please do everything to keep your family safe. If the national assembly, FEC, government ministries and parastatals are not resuming full operation - why should you expose yourself and your family to the huge risk of contacting the microscopic virus. The very people on whom we depend to guide us forward, in this country Nigeria, would rather have you work to survive in the midst of the war against this microscopic virus, than to protect and provide the basic needs to keep her citizen safe. I am never disappointed in them. They lack good understanding of what real leadership is all about. Since the seed of leadership has been planted in us, we have forfeited the right to make an excuse. In leadership, I’ve learnt that “Values are promoted by what you do and not what you say.” I urge you to be patient, not become a patient. Do you think we are heading towards the right direction?

Waste of time Will lockdown states require visas or have COVID19 tests carried out on visitors from other states where this lockdown didn’t take effect? Because this vicious virus exercises no discretion in choosing its prey, a total lockdown might be the best way to go. Anything else is just a waste of time. |
n3xt:Good to be back here. |
ChiefSupplier55:How much? |
@op, You’re doing yourself more harm than good. Clearly you haven’t handled big projects before. Do you expect Mumuney to pay you from her pocket for this? This is not just a transaction with a Baba Bili Group of Company or just any other business. Hence the reason she told you she is surprised at your approach! She might be trying to help you by asking you to meet the legal department and you’re messing things up. |
Perfecttouchade:This is just the beginning. I encourage well meaning Nigerians to rise up against this menace. This is a country of over 200 million people. They can’t do us anything! Rise against kings! Rise against politicians!! Rise against governors and other leaders!!! We are not a second class citizen. This is our country and we need to exercise our full rights to life and hold this government accountable for every lives lost. |
horlarjhidey:The system that produced these miscreants need to be flushed. I think it is high time we rise against impunity and oppression in this country. Let all the officers in uniform flexing muscles in this video go to the north and fight Boko Haram insurgents and stop causing nuisance in peaceful communities. There wouldn’t be a need for this if we’ve done the right thing and stop harassing innocent citizens. |
I do not dread armed robbers like the armed uniformed criminals. A popular Yoruba adage says “Bi bata ba ro l’aroju, o fe ya ni.” We don’t want criminals in uniform in our societies again. If government can’t help us, it is time we help ourselves. #ENDSARS Update: Sabo, Sagamu Boiling https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOj7etskUNE |
spyder880:Good. Thank you sir. Wishing you and all the entire Tigerkenn team a prosperous 2020s. |
spyder880:Thank you so much. How many mould do you have on site? I'm trying to see if I can increase the production capacity to 25 bags per day. I have a target of February 1st to meet for the production and installation and we wanted to allow at least 3 weeks for curing. |
spyder880:Greetings Bro! Quite a long time. This is Brabus. Trust you're doing great as always. May God bless our work. Pls I am interested in the interlock bricks you used here. What's the quantity produced per bag of cement? The thickness (60 or 80mm)? Bags produced per day (average). I'll appreciate all other information that can assist about materials requirement. I'm working on a 3,100sqm land. Regards |
csiworksnig:You're right! It's not like it fade exactly but all other areas where ordinary emulsion are used have fade out making it look dull. Thanks. _______ I'll get into your dm for price information. |

csiworksnig:Hello bro! Pls I am particularly interested in the gravitex. Such a very great waterproof paint with capability to stop moisture penetration. Can it be painted over after some years? Say 5 if it's getting dull. Thanks. |
gbadexy:Really gbadexy? Me and Baba Egunmogaji2 and all the alumnis of the property section.Ok o! I refuse to mention 3strike and maverrick in my post for personal reasons Ogas your attention is needed o!________ Quoting baba Egunmogaji2 Here’s my opinion on the issue that you raised. Many vendors have moved on and stopped posting either because of personal commitments or being bullied away. For owners like me, many of us have finished our builds and many more since then, gained the experience and simply stopped participating. In my opinion this specific thread has outlived its intent if not its usefullness. (Edited to add the following for clarification).....for people like me on the list. Of course it continues to be useful for new builders and the accompanying spam adverts. ________ Brabus Let's not stop participating. How about we sharing the lessons we learnt in our build journey? I believe a lot of vendors, builders and intending homeowners will learn great lessons from us. But definitely not on this thread. And we need to be a lot more civil this time. I have a lot to share on travails of brabus ![]() _________ Respect to the majeobaje of this platform Sir lastpage. Thanks for your encouragement and support. And to the Grand Patron on Nairaland Property section Hajj Mufutau (E ku iwaju sir) To my big boss and friend Spyder880, you're the best! Thanks rotecch77 for initiating this move. I hope it work! Sir excuzeme you know I always do and I wont hesitate to do that once again because I am first human and not Jesus like some people. ![]() Kolnel you really mean nobody. I ran a check on the id brabus and i saw a lot of my people say I really missed Brabus. Let's live in peace!#bringbackouralumni ![]() |
rotecch77:Greetings Sir Rotecch77, Brabus is hailing you! Quite a long time. Thank you for being you and being real. Thank you for checking on me. I've not gone anywhere. MachadoPreto:Biggest Lie! The only reason I was ever in a court was because I didnt allow anyone to pressure me into signing any stupid document. If you're clean, you're CLEAN. |
n3xt:Your project is as good as its plan. Your plan sets out the processes that everyone is expected to follow so it avoids a lot of headaches later. To create a good plan: You need to pick and spend time with your team: - clarifying what you need to achieve - working out the processes you need to get there - developing an action plan for how to achieve this. |
n3xt:It's been a long time since I made my last post on this forum.
