At 42 with only an HND, I strongly think you are too old to start a lecturing career in a University. I have very good reasons to tell you not to waste your money and time.

Sincerely, I don't think there is anything wrong for anyone staying in PH to visit the commission. Truth be told, even within this house, many are afraid and some have inside info and will never come here to tell us. We have to do something before something do us....

Yes test scores were higher than what is on the accreditation list. This is because your test scores was converted to 40% and the interview will be 60%. It means that if you score 50/50 in the test, that automatically become 40%. Multiply ur test score with a factor of 0.8 and that will amount to Ur 40%.

First, you don't publish a journal. You publish an article on a journal.

Now to your question, write the said professor an email drawing his attention to what you noticed online. Copy the Doc the email. If after one (1) week you didn't recieve any reply from them, write an official letter to the Ethics Committee of that Professor's new University. Plagiarism is a very serious offence and that Professor wouldn't want to loose his job.

All I see in your comment is " entitlement mentality ". You didn't write the commission before they advertised for the scheme and your letter willnot make the final list to come out.

Haven't you heard that our economy is in Recession? Don't you know that that is enough excuse to cancel the scheme? Dont you know that in a certian year, PTDF suspended an already advertised scheme? Dont make such comments on something that as I type you aren't even sure of getting. Bro, u have other baskets, please use them and stop displaying entitlement tendencies here.

I strongly kick against writing any letter or any protest. Guys, NDDC is not under any obligation to grant us scholarship. Besides, we are only "prospective" scholars. They can even cancel the entire process with just a simple excuse that the commission doesn't have money.

Please, let's be very careful about the things we write on this platform. People from the commission maybe watching. Patience is a virtue. Let's all imbibe patience as we wait on the commission to conclude the process. A visit to the commission by two prospective scholars living in PH wouldn't be a bad idea but NOT writing letter or posting thing anywhere.

I know; hopes are high, anxiety level is almost 100%, blood pressure is kicking from one end, you want to get updated by every means, you can't eat anymore because anxiety has taken up the space for food, your concentration is on the high side, every seconds you want to refresh your browser to see if there is a new post, every seconds you are playing with your phone just to be at alert when you'll receive the "miracle-sms", you want to be the first person to inform your friends about the good news, you now move around with your phone charger just to avoid a phone blackout. The truth is; YOUR MIRACLE-SMS WILL COME!

From my calculations 2nd-week starts from Monday the 12th of September 2016. But be that as it may, if by tomorrow, Wednesday you don't hear of an alert from anywhere; then condition your mind, for next week is the " Miracle-week" for "Miracle-sms"

FOR THOSE TRAVELING THIS SEPTEMBER:

You will arrive a bit late in the UK, you will arrive when your mates have already started with their lectures, assignments, group-projects. But don't panic!

MY ADVICE:

Go through your university's departmental portal again, look for the courses you will be offering in this 1st-semester, get them and start studying ahead.

N/B:
There will be no makeup class for your late coming, lecturer no send you msg, department doesn't care. All they need is results.

So be ahead of your class so that your anxiety level will be normal when you arrived in the UK.

What is once chance if one writes to nddc( after getting award letter) that one is changing to anoda sch and for PGD( a remedy for MSC) in that school (university) and eventually going for MSC after that?
Please help....ave been asking this question.

NDDC will NOT (INFACT NEVER) sponsor you for a PGD. How many times do you want people to say it?

Guy relax. am a 2015 scholar. Just Win the scholarship first. You can defer your award to January or change your university. so don't worry about september. And if you are not from a rich family, pls defer till january if you get the scholarship. My candid advice.

If you are for MSc., apply to Coventry University or University of Salford this evening with all required supporting documents and by Friday, you should get your offer letter. However, if you are for PhD, forget it becos is practically impossible.

That your source is wrong. 35 is about 70% and that is an A.There is no way the cut off will be that high.
