CanDaddy: Been in Canada for a while and in my dealings with IRCC I think the code is just be transparent. Waiting on my wife and kids PR application to pull through so I applied for a VV for my wife n two little boys. POF was just $2kCAD which I even explained that she took it as a loan
Applied July 12th 2022 Biometrics uploaded 13th July 2022 VV approved 20th July.
That was her first visa she has zero travel history.
In my own opinion just b plain n nothing bogus Wow... This is insightful. |

Toceen2022: By God's grace within 6 months - 1 year if everything goes as plan! I've always wanted to ask this. Which is better and easier to secure visas for me and my family of 5, if we apply together and move in as a family or I first apply and leave before they join me later? If I should first proceed alone, what is the guarantee that my wife and 3 kids would be granted a visa after 6mnts of my entry? What if they are denied? |
3.1gpa is a 2:2.
With that you can’t do masters in Canada . They will just keep taking your application fee but won’t offer you admission.
Look into graduate certificate programs in colleges . Centennial college and the likes.
Good luck
How true is this? I once saw someone here claim he got admission for Masters Degree program with a 2:2 |

Virocrix: Hello great friends,
Our glorious God just extended Favor to my family today. I received Teaching Assistantship offer from the University of Ottawa this evening.
I just raised a web form informing IRCC of the development, pleading with them to kindly expedite the processing of my application.
All glory to God. We keep on giving thanks. God has answered our prayers. The wait is over guys. Be joyful please. Cheers Did you apply for a PhD or Masters degree? |

CountVersailles: What exactly is part 3 necessary for? Has this thread suddenly run out of space that it can’t go on anymore? I’m still clueless why your guys do this, opening multiple parts to these threads and not allow it go on for as long as possible. Have things changed so much for landed immigrants that there’s suddenly a need for part 3? I’m yet to get a sane explanation. Nairaland has multiple threads that have run into hundreds and even thousands of pages without the need to open a new “part”. Several threads in Movies, Sports, etc are in thousands of pages without stop, but only here do you see people twitching about opening a new thread so they can be the first to post. You and your fellow derailers are the problem of the thread. I wonder why a typical Nigerian is this inconsiderate. Smh |

Pls if a 2yr Masters Degree program has a tuition fee of 3000CAD per semester, how many times should I multiply the semester fee to get the total tuition for the entire length of the program? How many semesters are there in a year in Canadian Universities? |

taiwolola: Thanks for your prompt response. When main applicant (Nurse) applied and was given Visa, she didnt tick yes so the kids details were not captured when she applied, she only filled details of spouse and parent. I hope this will not negatively affect our applications as dependants moreso that i am ticking YES and also filling the details of the kids? Thanks for your advise. I am also a novice on these things but if what I've learnt from this thread and the other UK threads is anything to go by, just try to convince the VO beyond reasonable doubt that these kids are hers (MA). Birth cert indicating the MA as one of the parents, old pictures of birthdays and other occasions like graduation, featuring the kids and the MA and any other proofs you can lay your hands on, would go a long way. How many kids are you applying for? |

taiwolola: Good Morning great team. For depensant visa , there is a place i am ask if i have people that financially dependent on me (including child less than 18). Should i tick yes and fill in the names of my kids or tick no. If i tick no, does it have any implication on my kids applications as they would also be applying . An experienced person should kindly advise. Thanks always Why do you want to tick No? Tick Yes. Ticking NO I think might affect their visa applications and even yours. They are applying as your dependents I guess. |

Promoter2: That's fraudulent. I'm sure you don't want anything that will give you a 10-year ban.
People even get married after getting their visa then the dependent applies when MA is already in the UK.
Get married and provide all other proof of relationship, pictures, shared bills, leaving together proof etc. Don't backdate anything. Bro, the marriage certificate UK Immigration recognizes, is it strictly the one from the courts? Or can one use church marriage certificate? |

giselle237: use what you have. U dnt need to ‘redo’ any document. Birth certificate is only indicated when the student/dependent are been sponsored by parents and this is to show relationship. Another issue is that the arrangement of my name differs in all my certificates. Only my passport and bank ne has same arrangements. For instance: WAEC: Adamu Emmanuel Haruna NYSC: Adamu Haruna Emmanuel DoB: Emmanuel Adamu Haruna POF: Adamu Haruna Passport: Adamu Haruna. Do I need an affidavit to cover this? |
