Good day everyone, please I need advice and encouragement. I broke up with my boyfriend of 8 months Now, not that I do not love him but he does things that saddens my heart.

I am a young girl of 22, a graduate and also an entrepreneur, I fend for my self and I do not ask him for penny because I can comfortably take care of my self.

I am with him because I love him not because he is rich (he is based outside) I know that love is not really enough. I am too emotional to some words being said to me, this guy always talk anyhow not minding if that hurts you or not.

At times, he sends me a post of what a lady ought to be doing for her man and I will always tell him that once a lady is treated right submission comes natural.

To him this always gets him upset and he always say that am a feminist, if I try to tell him words that makes me happy he will end up saying that he is not the type that tells a lady what they want to hear.

Everyday I cry for him because of his use of words towards me, he does not make me feel loved with his words and I always end up crying after talking to him.

I decided to see if there is still chance for us before breaking up with him this morning but still all he could tell me is that if am not happy in the relationship, I should just go out and look for the person to make me happy, I blocked and deleted his contact from my phone but am so hurt and down. please I need some words of encouragement, I really need to overcome this because it hurts.

There is a man I love so much but I just can't understand him.

We have known for three years now but all he has sent me is 30,000 Naira. He stays abroad and he won't give me unless if I ask.

Of recent I asked him to help me complete my school fees with 45,000 Naira. I asked him for the money August but he kept promising and till date he has not done anything.

Good day everyone on these platform, please I have this issue that is bordering me, I have this friend I have known for more than 3 years he came up with marriage proposal last month, but he said before he can go and see my people that he will take me to his church where he will be given approval and the church will supervise both the tradition and white wedding.

I don't have issue with that, where I have issue now is that he said I will first go and join a branch of his Church, get myself re-baptized, before he can take me to his own branch as someone he wants to marry, which I told him NO! that he should present me to his church as someone he wants to marry, from there I will commence other process including the baptism by immersion.

He refused and said since I'm not baptized in his Church and not a member he cannot present me. Meanwhile my parents are not aware, he said Church first before our parents. Please advice me. Thanks.

Was I wrong not to sweep the room? And please I will like you to trow more light on doing some domestic work at boyfriend's house some say is wrong that it will make one look desperate while some say is good I just don't know which one to follow



In my own case once I visit him at night I do make sure that I wash any dirty plates and pots and sweep his room that same night but sweeping of the room is once in a while let it not be as if am making him to look like doesn't sweep his room

Good day everyone, please i'm having a serious problem with my husband. It started when I asked him the reason he doesn't like wearing his wedding ring when he came back to Nigeria. He picked offence that i shouldn't ask him about his ring because according to him, that ring isn't marriage.



We had a little quarrel which I later apologized to him but my hubby is the type that can keep malice for Africa. He stopped talking to me despite the fact that I apologized. Do you know my hubby traveled to his village to see his people and stayed for 3 days without any communication, refused taking my calls.



When he came back to where we are staying, he was very down. I wanted to ignore him but I could see the way he was shivering under the duvet. I had to start asking him what was wrong because he was still not talking to me. Well I treated him (i'm a nurse), he refused eating anything but I had to force him to drink pepper soup with agidi so he could take the drugs. It was when he was talking to a friend over the phone that I overheard him telling him how his friends took him to where they drank pami and ate somethings that disorganized his system. Then his friend asked him 'but hope madam is doing something about it'. His response was "she has given me what she gave me na but i'm much better'.



For one month he was around, he didn't for one day come pick me up from work but he normally drop me in the morning. I never complained but the one that really got me very angry was the day he promised to come pick me after work. It was raining heavily that day. When I called him, he said his car is having problem and was fixing it in the mechanic. I later discovered he was with his best friend's wife at an eatery he took me to on my birthday just a stone throw from the

hospital I work. I went home drenched in the rain



The real problem started the night he took us out (me, the best friend's wife and some of his friends) to celebrate my birthday. That was the day I got to see the girl but this girl already knows everything about me. She took me one side and started telling me she has heard so much about me that even without seeing me she already developed hatred for me. That my hubby was complaining to her that I value my work more than him, that i'm too possessive and too jealous, that I want to chase all his friends away, my food is very peppery, that I allow insignificant thing like ring bother me. That the day he took her to the eatery, she asked him let them come and pick me but he refused saying I said I was going somewhere. I was really mad that a total stranger practically knows everything going on in my family.



When I came back home, I asked him those thing but he said that was not how it happened. I asked him if I give you food and you do not like it what stops you from telling me instead of a stranger.



Despite the fact I work, I still tried to create time for us because I asked him if he wants me to stop my work but he said no. He was explaining how it happened but I tried to tell him that it wasn't the way the girl presented it. The next thing oga flared up that I believed the girl more than him. Another episode of malice keeping.



The next night I asked to make food for him because he is fond of rejecting food over little misunderstanding, he said no. Around 11pm his friends called him to hang out. I took keys and locked the door. After much dragging he gave up not after I have sustained injury from the push he gave me. When he slept I snooped through his phone and what I saw left me dumbfounded. That was how I discovered this man is cheating on me. Indeed I was pained.



In the morning I opened the door and he left around 10am and was coming back 9pm, went straight to bed and slept off. I was still angry myself and was just murmuring when I entered the room.



My hubby just got up took his car key and was leaving. This was happening around 11:30pm so I told him I will not stop him but once he stepped out that I was going to lock the door for security reason.



We started dragging the key because he said I wont lock it. Out of anger I reminded him I was the one that paid for the house that if he wants to leave he can leave. Hmmm my worst mistake.



My hubby left the house, then called everyone that I asked him to leave the house because I paid for it. My aunt begged him to come home lets resolve it but he refused. He went to lodge in a hotel, came back in the morning and asked me to give him the phones he bought for me. I refused and this man beat me up until I brought out the phones and gave him. He left to the airport. Went to lagos, lodged for 2 days and went back to his base.



I have been calling but he is not taking my calls. I have sent him countless of messages apologizing but no response. Its been 2 months he traveled back no communication. My people have all called him to make peace yet he refused.



Please I need to know if I overreacted. Despite everything he didn't for one day say he is sorry. My marriage of 7 months

Good day everyone. I really have something bothering me. I am 25 years old. have been dating my boyfriend for 6 years now, I met him from the scratch and have been with him all this years through thick and thin.



Now he is very comfortable because he got a job with an oil and gas firm and a very attractive salary and position. Before he got that job, I was the one fending for him because I got a job immediately after serving.



He made so many promises to me while he was still broke, how he will pay me back for all I have done for him, how he will never disappoint me, how he will spoil me with the good things of life and the rest.



I kept believing and praying for his success even more than myself and family to an extent that when ever I open my mouth to say a prayer or make a declaration, is always about him and him alone. God answered us and boom! He started misbehaving.



The good and humble man I have known this years has gone bad. This was not the life he promised me. His first promise was to go see my people once he gets a good paying job. Now the job came, he isn’t talking about that anymore.



He is the first son and suddenly all the family burden is now on him. He bought a car for his parents, he bought a 4 bedroom bungalow for his parents and siblings too, almost all his salary is going to the family. He don’t even reserve anything to himself.



He don’t even have a car of his own. He always tells me that he wants to settle his family first before talking about his own.



I got pregnant for him early this year and he said I should abort it that he is not ready yet. His family has accepted me long time ago but due to family problems and high wants from his dad, he is finding it difficult to save for himself even his mum do advice him to save for himself incase of tomorrow but the dad don’t want to hear that one. Honestly, I feel like killing myself right now.



His mum is a very nice woman who is willing to do anything for me.Whenever I remind him of making out small savings to at least pay my pride price, he sees it as desperation. The funniest thing now is that he has turned to a chronic cheat!! He locks his phones and when ever I gain access to his phone, all I do is to cry all through.



I went through his phone last week and saw a chat of him and a girl where they were discussing about their se!x escapades. It happened that the girl visited and stayed for 3 days.



I confronted him about it and all he could do was to laugh and up-till now he haven’t even explain anything to me or even try to deny it. He has been mute.

Good day everyone, my friend who is not on this platform is having a serious marital problem with his wife. This issue has long been eating him deep. I actually do not know what to tell him to help the situation as he needed an urgent help currently.



He is a businessman, not very rich but he lacks nothing. He married a very beautiful wife. The marriage has been sweet and interesting judging by my observations. Because I was admiring their union so much especially when they got married newly in June last year.



But for about 6 months now, I began to notice that the love that existed between these couple has been dying secretly. They don't go to church together anymore, the man never goes to his Shop before without first dropping his wife and little Niece who lives with them to school, because the wife teaches in the secondary section of the his niece's school.



But now the wife prefers jumping Okada than being dropped by the husband. Currently, the man would take his niece to school with his car while the wife will stay back and board okada some minutes afterwards.



Before now, the wife had never for any reason slept while the husband is still outside at night, I and the husband use to watch football matches together at times at night, and his wife would be calling repeatedly for the husband to come back home. Unlike now, such things now belong to the past. Even if the man sleeps outside his wife doesn't care.



To cut the story short, I went to the man's office on Saturday and met him so depressed and confused. I forced him to confide in me what has been troubling him, at first I thought its a business/Financial related issues. But after several hesitation, he managed to tell me that I wouldn't understand what he's passing through because am not yet married.



When he found out that I was too determined to know what was bothering him. He said that his wife which he married barely 1 year ago is about divorcing him because he Doesn't last up to 3 minutes inside her during Se!x.



That he is suffering from Severe Quick Emasculation. That he has taken several medications to delay ejaculation and sustain his erection all to no avail. According to him, he dated his Wife for 4 months before marriage and they only made love twice before they got married. Now he's confused and so loosing it. I perceived that tangling with a lady like her could be dangerous and didn’t care about that either. Slowly, she walked like a tigress hunting a prey and passed me by. But nothing would stop me from falling into her trap. There must be a lot to gain. A woman with a figure like hers must be something else behind the closed doors - I appealed to my conscience to justify its weakness - if she wasn’t, then nothing on earth was real.

She was small and perfectly created, her cloth was fashioned in a manner that would show her beautiful shape. Her face housed a pair of bold eyes, a small nose, and lips that kept me wondering if she was a porn star. She walked seductively to the transparent door, pushed it carelessly and slid into the VIP.

The lounge bouncers murmured inaudible greetings as she walked onto the stage. There was an empty space on the stage’s lounge seat on which she helped herself and appeared like a queen on a deserving throne.
Still on the other side of the lounge, I was totally lost to the rest of the world. Good day everyone. I need help, can't bear the burden anymore. I feel terrible on the inside. I feel God too will never forgive me. I feel I am not fit to be called my husbands wife. I got married December 2002 and my husband was working in one company back then, after 6 years, he lost the job. He lost the job and tried getting another one but nobody helped him. Before that, he opened a wine shop for me with his savings and truly, I am good in business. He begged and asked me, let's team up and do the wine business but I felt he is coming in to know what comes in and goes. So I refused.

He started sitting at home and truly I don't know what possessed me. I started seeing him as a failure and an infidel. I give him food, sometimes I don't care if he has fed. If he begs me for money, I will ridicule him before I give them to him. He do help out even in cooking but my main concern was for him to bring money to the table. I stopped my in-laws from entering their brothers house because he has lost his voice . He later got a job at the east, I threatened him that if he accepts to leave me and the children for just 24 hours, that the marriage will be over. He stayed back. I don't even want to write somethings because some people will curse me.

Last four years, my husband got a job, that was what he told me. By then his clothes are worn out. He told me but I never gave him any money. I started seeing some new clothes on his body after months he started the job, so when I asked him, he said his younger brother sent him some of his clothes from east.

His brother too was still managing . I never cared to know where my husband works or how he goes to the place of work or how he comes home. All I want to hear from him is money for upkeep. Truth be told, we have not had s!ex for the past 6 and half years, I had an affair outside too but I stopped.

My husband doesn't even come to me because I have so abused him and I don't even care . My husband started bringing money home but I never knew his work place.

He told me his pay was 40k and he will take the job because he can't find another one either. He is happy he now contributes to the feeding but at night he sleeps inside his children's room and before I could wake up in the morning, he has bath his children and left for work. I saw he didn't even care about me in the house and even if I tell him let's sit down for a talk, he will sit down and won't say a word. Immediately I finished what I wants to say, he will get up and leave.

I too was feeling he will ease off with time, but that never happened so I didn't even care. We have 4 kids( twins girls and 2 boys). It just took me last three months to understand the kind of job my husband is into.

He left for work and forgot his phone where he was charging it at the kitchen switch. I was at the kitchen with my helper preparing the food the children will take to school when his phone rang and rang. I shouted, why did he forget his phone? So when it started ringing again, I pressed the receiver and what I heard was oga dry cleaner good morning, I hope you are coming this morning to iron those clothes because my husband have no clothes to wear tomorrow? I switched the phone off because I felt is a wrong number.

The caller called back, I shouted wrong number madam. She said what is wrong number, is this not oga dry cleaners phone? I said it's wrong number. The woman started abusing me, so you stole his phone? Better go and return that phone to that poor man before she swears for me, she said a lot of hurtful words to me. That if I don't return that phone to that man, God will turn his problems to mine.

I switched off the phone to go back to my cooking thinking that it was a wrong number. My husband came back after 20 minutes , took his phone and left. I did not ask him of anything because he was in a haste.

When he got back in the evening was when I told him about the call and he said yes that it was not a wrong number, that it was his customer that called, that he is doing house to house dry cleaning and ironing for people, that it's the job he has been into for four years now and that is where he is feeding and paying the children school fees from. He didn't say another word and left. I later asked him of their office, he said no office that he goes to people's houses, takes their clothes and go to his friends house wash them and iron them and bag it in a nylon. That they don't have any office yet but they both saved and bought a big generator for ironing. That a friend of his introduced him to the business, that they do it together, they wash today and iron tomorrow depending on the weather.

I have failed as a wife and I feel I should leave his life because I have caused him so much pain. I don't know how to start making amends. Even with everything I did to him, he never forgets my birthday date and he will send me a message . I want to get his heart back but i don't know where to start. I can rent a shop for him to start fully his business but I don't know if he will accept that. I feel he is just there because of his children and not me anymore. Please what can I do because even with all I did to him. He still never left me, never abused me , he comes home to me and the children, still take part in house chores . Good day everyone, please me and my wife needs your advice. We are in the 7th year of our marriage and we use to pay in 10,000 Naira each for our mothers.

My wife don't waste time in transferring her own mothers money, but my own mothers own can stay extra one week before she does that. I use to give her the money in cash because I don't do mobile banking. I just want her to handle the finances and house expenses. So all the money I give her comes in cash.

Whenever I get angry that she delays my own mothers money, her response will be. Does your mother even need the money, are your sisters and brother not capable of taking care of your mother without your own contributions? I just want to be contributing my own quota because my mum single handedly trained us when my dad died .

My wife have two eldest sisters who are married to rich men, still yet she keep telling me her sisters don't see to their mothers upkeep. My mother in-law seem to me like an unappreciative human being.

Do you know that it will take her 2 weeks to call and say thank you for the money ? Immediately my mothers own hit her account, the first person she will call is my wife before calling me. My wife is a teacher but I don't care to ask her how much she earns.

The 20,000 Naira we pay for the both mother come from my pocket. The money my wife paid in for her mother since August 21st yesterday was when she called me at work to say thank you. This is a 51 year old woman . I feel there is no need of that anymore. I told my wife countless times that I don't like her mothers behavior at all. Do you know that sometimes she calls my wife and tell her to greet me for the money .

Twice she has come for omugwo, The second time, I gave her cash because the first time she came for omugwo of our first son, I bought her 2 hollandaise and gave her a carton of Soap with cash of 20,000 Naira, later on when I had issues with my wife, she brought it up, that I gave her mother peanuts when she came for omugwo.

So on the second one. I gave her 70,000 Naira and now my wife is pregnant for our third child. I just told her that our nanny can handle things now, that mama shouldn't bother for omugwo, she just looked at me and called me a joker.

We have a nanny, she is experienced and a widow with two kids 43 years old. Advise us because we are here . I am 40 years, my wife is 36 years old.

I met my secondary school teacher on Facebook after 15 years and we became friends. We became so close that at any time I can rightly guess what he's doing. We shared our past experiences and freely discuss anything. Along the line he started professing love to me, telling me I'm his kind of woman and wanted something serious with me. He's six years older than me. But I'm still being careful for him not to mess me up.

Something happened last week Thursday. I had a dream of him flirting with one of us back then in school and told him of the dream. I even teased him with the dream asking him if he have an eye on the girl. So we then talked about dreams generally and I told him when I was much younger my dreams do come to reality exactly the way I dreamt of it but i lost the gift in the long run. But honestly I never took the dream serious because I felt I dream base on the fact that he told me some days before the dream that he was on a chat with the girl and asked me if she is married and I told him to ask her and not me. Two days later which was on Saturday a friend of mine and also a friend to both the girl and my teacher called me very early in the morning asking me why I discuss what she told me about my teacher and the girl with my teacher that the girl called her and shouted at her for discussing it with someone, that my teacher called her and told her that he was joking with whatever they discussed. I was shocked because I never had such discussion with anyone. I only dreamt of it.

On Sunday night one talk led to another between my teacher and I so we had to talk about it. Though I never planned discussing it with him because it's not important to me.

He explained that he never for once wish or have any reason to date the girl that they talk like any other friends. That he do call her to hang out with him just the way he calls both his male and female friends but she has never honored the invitation but promised to when next she's around. He said he never apologized or told the girl he's joking, he just told her that she misunderstood his person and actions that it wasn't what she was thinking and deleted the girl from his Facebook. He said I should ask the girl to clear my conscience that he is not a baby for my pranks I called dream because he don't believe I had any dream. Please my story is too long but will try cut it down a bit.

Am a married woman I married 2017, January to be precise. But some times I don't even know if I should tell people am married or single.
