Insomnia is pretty common. However, not all cases of sleep troubles are clinical insomnia. In many cases, the person is just not exerted enough by their daily activities. e.g a manual laborer who works from dusk till dawn will typically be asleep before he hits the sheets. On the other hand, an inactive person who spends all day at home, perhaps browsing FB or Nairaland, with the occasional idle stroll outside might have trouble sleeping. What is your daily routine like? |
Both military and post-military leaders alike have failed the Nigerian people from 1960 till date. |
The funny part is most of these projects could be financed with less funds than many Nigerian politicians have individually stolen. |

olola4:2 Baba has helped a crap load of people. |
2 Baba and 2 Bobo. |
“I hold a British passport so I felt I would be given the enabling environment to excel in my line of business here. I relocated to London with the hope that I would be able to flourish my entrepreneurship. I have been here for 10 years, I have applied for several start up loans, filled many applications, written series of proposals, and attended several defences, but it has not yielded a pound. The system does not support Africans whatever the colour of your passport. It only takes what you bring and swallow it. It is either you conform to what they have to offer; which are menial jobs that their children pass off or nothing.”The bold part above from one of the interviewees is the reason many immigrants fail. I can't emphasize this enough. If you're a new immigrant, STAY AWAY from people who think like this, or you will end up in lowly jobs for life. The mentality of "this is the only thing available for people like us" is dangerous, defeatist and should be avoided actively. |
I bet some Nollywood producer is on this thread licking his lips right now. *picks up the phone and calls his director. "We have a new one - "The Car Dealer." |
I think at this point in the game, such updates by the military is pretty useless. I'm sure they're doing their best, but it would only make sense to rescue them before putting out an update on it. |
Some might criticize her looks, but at the end of the day, a regular girl is all you really need. There's more to life than "trophy wives" and "trophy girlfriends." |
DMerciful:I'm sure the word snake in your comment triggered their alarm. A title like this is what Nairaland is about now: "See This Snake Inverter Endorsed by Tonto Dikeh While Flaunting Massive Cleavage (Graphic pics)" |
"a specialist on stealing foodstuffs." That's a pretty funny job description. |
Looks like a skin reaction to some chemical in a product. See a dermatologist. |

She's kinda sexy. |

Is this a joke? |
jmichlins:Well, two things have remained constant in the Nigerian polity. 1. The politicians have looted, at the expense of their hungry constituents. 2. The hungry constituents have been seen in images exactly as these. Rinse and repeat. The vicious cycle continues. |
That's hilarious. I wonder how many Nigerians would have to return their certifications if this was requisite to being a "prayer warrior." ![]() |
Alright. |
Here is a video of her singing and dancing with Nelson Mandela. Skip to 2:40 ![]() That booty though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGS7SpI7obY |
yomi007k:Well, the post says they are. |
Not all of them are similar. e.g Seeing the name Timi Dakolo won't evoke "Simi" in your head. Seeing the name Blackface won't evoke "Blackmagic." However, Wizkid and Wizboyy is valid. Another one not mentioned (and which annoys me) is Brymo and Mbryo. Mainly because when I see Mbryo, I think for a second that Brymo has dropped a new track. Then I realize it's just the other dude. |
Cool. |
So, a bunch of adults dancing at a party is now something to report on. ![]() This is the scene at practically every party on the planet. If they were a bunch of young kids, that would be a different story. However, these are full grown adults. |
ireneony:Complimenting her, yes. But it's generally not necessary to disparage a group in order to compliment an individual, or another group. The part "one of the few beautiful yoruba women" was the unnecessary appendage in this case. It suggests Yoruba women are typically not beautiful, and she is one of the few. Anyway, it's really not a big deal. I have no Yoruba ties either, but think Nigerians could be a little less tribe-conscious. |
ireneony:Someone is fiending for some tribal war. |
That's one scrumptious looking lady. ![]() |
![]() This is some hilarious stuff. So, they got stood up by the herbalist? Also, the facial expression of that dude in blue is of epic proportions. |
Why does the title say "mansion"? What's the point sensationalizing a simple story? |
