Is this one-way or return leg?
It’s one way. The student fare is for only London (British Airways)

How long is the promo going to last?
I’m not sure. You’d have to contact Wakanow directly

Wow!

You’ve got yourself a great deal!
Pretty stoked. I was about to pay N385,000 for same flight when I saw the special student fare for London destination at N214,000. My friend booked her flight to Newcastle for N266,000, also British Airways

How do you book BA. I just checked their flight schedule and they do not have flights from Lagos to London.
Even wakanow was upto 500k for this route
Call wakanow or send them a DM on instagram. It’s the student fare and I booked mine for N214,000 this morning for Lagos to London. The student fare is only available for London, Toronto and Newyork destinations. If your arrival city is outside London, the student fare won’t apply

When do you intend to travel?whats their flight fare?
Haven’t decided on a travel date but the BA fares appear to be from N250,000 through wakanow. They’ll confirm exact fare based on your travel date. Check their Instagram page for more info. That’s where I saw the Student Fare promotion

Hi there. Thanks a lot. I don’t know if the accommodation scholarship will still be available for February start. Email the international office to confirm. If available and if you’re eligible, you’ll be sent a couple of forms to fill.

Good luck!

Thank you! I’m steering clear of any airline that could stress me with cancelations and mandatory Covid testing. I want to close my eyes and wake up in Heathrow safe and sound by God’s grace

Thanks. I stay in Lagos. I was told there is an immigration office in Ikeja. I will visit the place for the renewal.
I renewed mine there in July so you can try the Ikeja immigration office if it’s closer to you. There’s also one in Festac and another in Ikoyi

Lmao why am I getting cold feet going to walk-in on Tuesday my agency said it’s N45,000 but someone here mentioned N42,000
You’re using a visa agent?? If yes I do hope you’ve done your due diligence? Use of visa agents is not encouraged on this forum because enough information is shared to enable applicants do the whole process on their own. Lots of wrongdoings have been committed in applicants’ names thanks to “agents”

Read every form being filled on your behalf. Read everything you’re signing.

And to correct, walk-in fee is N42,000. Wonder why your agency would quote N45,000?

Just be careful. Best wishes.

Please house, how do you count the 15 working days after biometrics? Did my biometrics on the 18th and interview on the 19th. Do I count from the day of my biometrics or interview? The wait is frustrating
15 working days from August 19 is September 9. So you can start tracking your application from September 7
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by naledis(f): 11:08am On Sep 01, 2020
Download the TLSContact track my application app (it is available for iOS and Android) , login with your passport number and last name and you can track your application easily.

There are only 4 stages on the app:
1) application received at VAC
2) application transferred to DMC
3) passport ready for collection/delivery
4) passport returned to applicant

how much is enough?? including tuition and all

I must leave this Nigeria.
Then put in the work it takes. Do your research. Don’t just read page 1 and conclude that it’s stressful. Think of a course that would suit you. Go online. Apply to universities. Know the financial requirements for a tier 4 application. Get your account funded and get your documents ready.

You can’t just “want to leave Nigeria”. Put in the work too. Best wishes!

If I get you correctly, he can only use the parent’s personal account not their business account (even though they are the sole signatory and has documents to prove that), yea?
He can’t use a business account, signatory or not. Personal accounts only in either the applicant’s name or parents’ name

New to this thread and asking for a friend.

Is it okay to use a business account owned by the dad in which he is the sole signatory. If yes are there any other supporting documents that would be required?

Thanks in advance.
No. The account has to be in the applicants name. Alternatively your friend can use his parents’ account and include a birth certificate with the application to prove the relationship.

@mamag20 please print a new statement covering 28-30 days (counting backwards) from the day you submitted online. Email this immediately to Sheffield and make sure to quote your application reference number (set of numbers starting with GWF). Let’s pray that it is taken into consideration

Please I need urgent clarification or possible solution,

I apply For visa on 15th August (Saturday) and I printed bank statement on the 17th August (Monday) reading from 20th July to 17th Aug (28days) and did self upload same Monday 17th. Biometric was 25th August but I just noticed now that 28days was supposed to read from that Saturday 15th backward
Wow. 20th July to 15th August is 26 days. Unfortunately it appears you haven’t met the financial requirements for the tier 4 visa application. I don’t think there’s anything you can do now to rectify the situation

It was N510 on Friday and N515 yesterday
Let’s see if it gets better in the coming week.
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by naledis(f): 1:13pm On Aug 30, 2020
For those waiting for their bank statements to meet the 28-day requirement, don’t forget to monitor the exchange rate on Oanda especially if you didn’t make extra provision to hedge against sudden spikes in exchange rate.

It’s N518 as of today.

You’re welcome. My TB certificate expired on the 27th but I emailed the Coronavirus immigration helpdesk to get clarification and that’s what I was told : if a valid TB certificate is provided with an application, it will be accepted so long as the expiry date is less than 6 months in the past as at the time a decision is made on the application

I'm asking this question on behalf of a friend. Can a passport that will expire in less than 6 month be use to apply for visa? His passport will expire April 2020 and he is going for February admission intake.

Thanks ahead for the clarity
My uni advised me to renew my passport if the expiry date is less than 6 months from my course start date. So I renewed it to avoid issues. Your friend may not have issues with applying for a visa with the near-expired passport and if his uni doesn’t raise concerns about it, he should be fine.

Do I just walk in there without an appointment?
Yes I did that some weeks ago. Make the payment of N8500, have the payment receipt ready then go there any time within their opening hours. Your first stop is the data processing center upstairs for confirmation of your payment. Next stop is the certificate collection office where you’ll be asked to write out the details that need to be corrected and you’ll have your new certificate in a few minutes.

Some people have claimed that they were still able to upload documents a day before their appointment.
