efeski:Kindly carefully review my post again and if you still cannot see the difference; then I am completely sorry for you; pls accept my condolences. |
backnbeta:Big lie, food vendors are free to sell their wares at anytime during Ramadan to anyone; whether Muslims or Christians; what you fail to realise is that there are many Muslims exempted from fasting during the said period, e.g. children below puberty, the sick, menstruating women and even travellers. It would have been disingenuous therefore to ban the sale of food, in view of such ppl; besides, nothing stops a fasting person from buying his food for later consumption at the appropriate time - your allegation is completely false and a figment from your biased imagination. On the contrary, the ban on sale and consumption of alcohol in the state was NOT enacted UNDER SHARIA law but under conventional law through the State House of Assembly. This lie is being told by Christians in Nigeria opposed to Sharia and promoted through an obviously biased media; besides, the ban cannot in any way prevent Christians from practising their religion; just as it did not in America when that country also did same in its prohibition years. |
Dino crying over spilt milk - its either street acting or Saraki's boy boy; the choice is yours. |
OP was on point until he made the same mistake many others continue to make concerning adoption of Sharia in the 12 northern states. Let us get this very clear; so far Wike is only governor to declare a particular religion (Christianity) for his state; I repeat, no other other governor has done what Wike did - including those northern governors who introduced sharia penal code in their states. There is a big difference between adopting a religious law (alongside others) targeted only at it's adherents (Sharia for Muslims only) against adopting or declaring a particular faith (Christianity) as the blanket and only religion (at the exclusion of others) for a state - as Wike did. Unfortunately, many Nigerians are being deliberately misled by those opposed to Sharia (CAN, the media etc) into believing otherwise - it is even more unfortunate that many seemingly intelligent folks have been gullible enough to have fallen for this false narrative; including the OP. |
Unemployed fraudsters looking for gullible folks to hammer. |
End of the 3rd Class senator; good riddance to bad rubbish. |
UnitedNigeriaUN:Agreed; however, a little self check would also not hurt you. |
Nothing more is threatening the peace and unity of this country than hate speeches and fake news, fuelled by social media and at the altar of religious platforms - the sooner we realise the need to regulate these outlets the better. There is no such thing as absolute freedom of speech because with freedom also comes responsibility; nobody should feel free to incite other ppl to violence and hatred without expecting to take responsibility or to be held responsible for it. Failed politicians and irresponsible individuals too often resort to blackmail as local champions of ethnicity and religion; unfortunately, the seeds of hatred and division they have sowed may long outlive their short term selfish objectives. The damage caused by the current numerous of attacks directed at Buhari because of his religion, region and ethnicity would pass onto many generations long after his political and actual life. Nigeria cannot afford to self- destruct due the selfish interest of a few individuals, who continue to irreparably damage it under the guise of free speech. |
Gandollaar:Some ppl overrate themselves and foolishly believe that blowing out the next person's candle would make their's shine more brightly. Common nyamiri looking down on another - a common mistake of her kinsmen. |
Gandollaar:Sometimes life has a cruel way of playing on the gullibility of seemingly intelligent folks who still believe in fairytales. Some, even though grown ups, still believe in Father Christmas and lately in the silly yarn of Jubril of Sudan - as gospel truth. My heartfelt condolences! |
Kingsley10000:Watch as they will come for his head. |
Like the way as police re-arranged the face of this Flatheaded Lagos developer from Imo |
Mayflowa:It wouldn't take much time at all because the negotiation is very straight forward: its like a landlord having agreed not increase his tenant's rent beyond a certain limit over a fixed period of years (which had already expired); therefore all he now needs to do is to revise only the rent - not necessarily the entire tenancy with the tenant. |
jahsharon:Yes, indeed. Love the way Buhari allows them to make all the noise they like, till they get hoarse and give up; while he remains unfazed and focused towards attaining his objective. It must be terrible to be an attention seeking wailer and being completely ignored. |
They went far back to dig up Akpabio's old PDP campaign clips, well before he decamped to join the APC - Lol, it must be frustrating to be a wailer nowadays; especially as Atiku is no longer cummin ![]() |
Mayflowa:It is a risk free negotiation where FG (as the resource owner) is in the driving seat and can manage it itself (through the NNPC) without having to engage outside lawyers at the purported 5% fee. |
Racoon:You are entitled to your opinion. |
One more loophole blocked - good job sai Baba |
Big deal; the wailers have finally got something to wail about; yet when it comes to strict adherence to federal character you'll always find the north is often one being short changed - northerners are simply more easy going and don't kick up a storm when it happens - they are not wailers by nature. |
Such unimaginable evil and wickedness can only come from that side. |
T9ksy: ![]() |
Okeke ppl as usual - una well done. |
richie240:Don't mind the hypocrites; its like they have been cursed to wail for no reason. |
NLandIsHypocrit:Get this straight; reserving northern jobs for northerners does not amount to hate/hate speech; it was the premier's constitutional right at that time to employ who he chose and to decide what was in the best interest of the north - Igbos cannot claim a right that does belong to them; especially when they too were practising the same - all their wailing and trying to twist history in order to malign the late premier (who they killed in cold blood) will not wash. |
See them hating on the president even though he is doing more for them than their Bloda GEJ.
|
Lol, isn't it ironical that all the frenzied attack against PMB's age suddenly stopped as soon as Atiku Abubakar also in his 70's emerged as the PDP presidential flag bearer. Age no longer seems to be an issue with erstwhile critical IPOB youths and our hypocritical media; especially as the said Atiku is being touted to make a 2nd coming in 2023. |
DMerciful:Hate Speech: Wikipedia Hate speech is a statement intended to demean and brutalize another, or the use of cruel and derogatory language on the basis of real or alleged membership in a social group.[1] Hate speech is speech that attacks a person or a group on the basis of protected attributes such as race, religion, ethnic origin, national origin, sex, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hate_speech Hate Speech: Cambridge English Dictionary public speech that expresses hate or encourages violence towards a person or group based on something such as race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation (= the fact of being gay, etc.): https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/hate-speech Pls choose any of the above definitions of Hate Speech that matched any of the Sardauna's speeches - or otherwise keep quiet. |
nku5:My friend; didn't you also hear him say the southern regions were not ready to employ northerners even in menial jobs such as labourers etc (that didn't require any formal education or certificate) - keep deceiving yourself, that what he wrote or spoke amounted to hate speech. |
DMerciful:And that in your logical mind amounts to hate speech? Abeg Oga, use your brain and not your emotions; otherwise it may mislead you into appearing stupid. |
Lol, Jubril of Sudan gullible followers. ![]() |
DMerciful:I don't have to show you any clip; the Sardauna made that clear assertion (at the end of the clip - that is, if you care to watch and listen) and I truly believe him; however, if you want to prove otherwise then you are free to produce the name of any norther employed in any key position in either the Eastern or Western Civil Service as at that time. You can't expect the north to open up its region to southerners when the south was not ready to similarly do same to northerners - you can call it, tit for tat; do me I do you, God no vex. |

Did you not hear him say there were only 6 northerners in the civil service when he became premier
