Xaddy:
God Bless you real good. The thing is making my heart bleed. There is a REAL crisis going on in SK. Real people are dying, but people are recycling old pic of dead people as if the happenings are not real.

And they have turned it to a religious crisis because the religion of the Fulani Herdsmen must be Islam... When the issue is grazing lands v. farmlands...

I don't know what they will benefit from all these...
Unfortunately the crisis has been hijacked by the politics of hatred and religion and taking a very dangerous level through information mismanagement and manipulation.

The aim is simply to cause serious disaffection between Christians and Muslims so as to influence subsequent election votes; the massive northern block vote being their target; such disaffection also falls well in line with IBOB agenda for the break up of this country, it is therefore not surprising that you will find IPOB youths have lend themselves as willing tools to the creation, distortion and propagation of the ongoing malicious cyber propaganda.

Many of those behind this unfortunate mischief are regrettably being blind sighted by their present hate and desire, unable to see beyond their short term goals, into the far reaching potential damaging consequences that forebode us should they continue unchecked.

Boko Haram, Niger Delta Militants, Bakassi Boys etc, were all initially sponsored by local politicians till they grew and turned into the uncontrollable monsters they are today.

It therefore behoves upon every peace loving Nigerian to detect and checkmate the spread of these malicious rumours before they irredeemably divide and calamitously consume all of us.

You are going off topic, pls address the issues I have raised.

However, if you must know; pls stay clear of those Bororo herdsmen; they are hardcore very fierce warlike, bad ass Ninja breed of the nomadic Fulani; they respect no borders and transverse the entire West and parts of North Africa (that is why Buhari and others are telling you guys that some them are not from Nigeria but to no avail); you don't want to mess with them because, if provoked they make a formidable opponent to face in the bush and compare to the ordinary Fulani like a bee is to a wasp/hornet - a word is enough for the wise.

Careful what you are wishing for; remember if the push should to come to the shove, Muslims don't give a shit about dying - how many of you Christians are brave enough to willingly embrace death?
Take a leaf out of Boko Haram suicide bombers.

Beware, the ongoing cyber propaganda being orchestrated by Christians to incite other Christians into hating and provoking Muslims is reaching a very very dangerous level that can easily set this country up in flames - the Ruwandan genocide was preventable and avoidable, just saying.

Religion of peace...
Stop this nonsense of buying everything you read as gospel truth without asking questions; you are probably among those who believed Buhari died in London because you read it in a blog.

Question: how did they know he was killed by Fulani, and it was in self defense while defending his religion?
Can someone explain to me how herdsmen clashes with local communities ceased from being what it is (i.e. a turf war between conflicting lifestyles for land over the right to farm against the right to graze) to suddenly being a religious battle?

Ppl should pls be wary of such stories because there clearly very active malicious propaganda out there aimed at causing unrest between Christians and Muslims.

Not too long ago Bishop Oyedepo had to extract an apology and retraction from Vanguard Newspaper for falsely linking him to a story alleging he was inciting Christians to kill Muslims - and that was from a supposed credible newspaper not to talk of nondescript ordinary blogs.

Even the corpse of this man is giving me serious doubts, because looking at the injuries to both forearms, you will notice scalding marks consistent with burns from a hot liquid rather than from injuries sustained from a direct conflict involving guns, knives and sticks (which seems to be out of place in the present circumstances) - we can all recall how images of dead Ruwandan victims were recently uploaded to misrepresent alleged victims of the southern Kaduna and also Plateau clashes - just saying.

IGBOS knew there was a systematically planned Islamisation of the country through NNAMDI KANU's prophesies and started the resistance.

Yorubas cowardly claimed ignorance of the pace with which these herdsmen invade southern part of the country killing farmers when we are forced to embrace farming, what an irony!

The earlier the Yorubas realized ibos are far much smarter than them and submit themselves, the better for them.
They voted against GEJ because of ibos ,now the north is beginning to show that all they care for is power to maintain the supremacy of the Fulanis.

I just hope this kids on this forum learns from the mistakes of Tinubu and co.
Abeg shut up!
Why must everything revolve around Igbo this and Igbo that; and must always be viewed from your clannish egocentric tribal perspective?

And for goodness the sake, the Fulani herdsmen problem is fundamentally an economic one, a clash between agriculturalists and pastoralists for land to farm or graze cattle; pls stop interpreting it as a religious issue - because it is not.

However, if you still insist; then I'll have to agree that the plan to Islamise the country will be accomplished after Nnamdi Kanu accepts Islam and is installed as the chief imam of Imo State - hope you are happy now.

Christianity Etc › Re: Stop Using Mosques To Preach Hate - Sanusi by NaMeAboki: 12:43pm On Jan 29, 2017
alBHAGDADI:
It's either Sanusi is using the Islamic deceit aka Al taquiya or he simply hasn't read the Quran. Those clerics can never stop preaching HATE in their mosques and madrasah cos it will mean that they will stop following what the Quran orders them to do. See below...

Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"

Quran (4:76) - "Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah…"

Quran (8:39) - "And fight with them until there is no more fitna (disorder, unbelief) and religion is all for Allah"

Surah 48:29
Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and those with him are HARSH against the unbelievers, MERCIFUL among themselves.

Quran (5:51) - "O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the CHRISTIANS for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people."

Sahih Muslim (2167) - "Allah's Messenger said: Do not greet the Jews and the CHRISTIANS before they greet you and when you meet any one of them on the roads FORCE him to go to the narrowest part of it."

Quran (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority".

Quran (8:65) - "O Prophet, exhort the believers to fight..."

Quran (9:29) - "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book (CHRISTIANS), until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued."
Pls stop propagating falsehood; copying and pasting doctored or edited verses out of context; by the same vein I can quote you very violent verses from the Bible particularly the Old Testament; I can also refer you to a recent independent comparative study that confirmed that even the New Testament is more violent than the Quran.

Sanusi has done a very commendable thing by cautioning his flock and preaching peace between the religious divide; in contrast to his Christian counter parts and bodies like CAN which often make reckless and ignorant divisive political statements that undermine peace and tolerance.

What is so clannish about linking arguably the two largest populations and economies?
The only clannish ppl are those ones hell bent on politically separating and isolating themselves - based on their faulty egocentric and narrow ethnic myopic perspective that sees and interprets everything from a tribalistic point of view.

Politics › Re: MURIC And SULTAN Called For Apostle Suleiman Arrest And DSS Has Invited Him by NaMeAboki: 8:27am On Jan 29, 2017
ERockson:
Following his unguarded rant over
herdsmen, the Muslim Rights Concern
(MURIC), has lashed out at the Senior
Pastor of the Omega Fire Ministries, OFM,
Apostle Johnson Suleiman.
BREAKING! MURIC orders the arrest of Apostle
Suleman
MURIC says the clergy is out to make the
“country unsafe for law abiding Muslims and
Fulanis.”
Recall that Suleiman has been in the news
lately after he asked his members to kill any
Fulani herdsmen seen around him and his
church.
In the early hours of this morning, the Ekiti
State Governor, Ayodele Fayose had foiled an
attempt by operatives of the Department of
States Services, DSS, to arrest the clergy man
in Ado-Ekiti.
But MURIC, in a statement by its Director,
Professor Ishaq Akintola, condemned the hate
speech by Sulieman, urging security agencies
to do the needful.
Describing Suleiman’s speech as
“provocative, irresponsible and unpatriotic,”
MURIC urged Nigerians not to allow “some
misguided spiritual leaders who have hidden
agenda to becloud their sense of assessment.”
The statement sent to Daily Post, on
Wednesday reads: “The founder of Omega Fire
Ministries, Johnson Suleman, recently
instructed members of his church to kill
Fulanis. An attempt by operatives of the
Department of State Security (DSS) to arrest
him in Ado Ekiti yesterday was foiled by
Governor Ayodele Fayose.
“The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) strongly
condemns Pastor Johnson Suleman’s
vituperations. It is provocative, irresponsible
and unpatriotic. In the same vein, we are
nonplussed by Governor Fayose’s penchant for
preventing security agents from performing
their lawful duties. By shielding such a high
profile suspect, Fayose has manifested blatant
disregard for the rule of law, encouraged
lawlessness and exhibited executive
brigandage.

“Pastor Johnson Suleman wants to make the
country unsafe for Muslims and law abiding
Fulanis. It is not in our character to issue
threats. We are mature enough to control our
emotions. Yet it is not out of cowardice that
we prefer to tow the path of peaceful
coexistence. Muslims have never been known
to fear death or to compromise their faith. But
we do not want to join issues with belligerent
people who are always bullying Muslims and
Fulanis by telling lies and issuing threats.
Neither do we want to heat up the polity.
“What will ordinary Muslims do when we
exchange banters with firebrand Christian
extremists like Johnson? Why should religious
leaders speak as if they have stocked heaps of
weapons in hiding? Why should spiritual
guides incite their followers to kill and maim?
What do religious leaders gain from goading
their followers to shed blood?
“The victims are usually the poor masses who
are hypnotized by the rhetoric and mesmerized
by the oratorical skills of their fanatical
leaders. This is why leaders must weigh every
word they utter. Leaders are models. They
must live by example and teach their followers
to learn how to love, to tolerate, to forgive and
to peacefully coexist.
“MURIC charges Nigerians to objectively and
critically examine the Fulani herdsmen
phenomenon. They should not allow some
misguided spiritual leaders who have hidden
agenda to becloud their sense of assessment.
Fulanis have been coming to Nigeria before the
1914 amalgamation. Their nomadic and
pastoral flow has never waned since the first
Fulanis came from Futa Toro in Senegal in the
11th century. We should therefore not be
surprised that the criminal elements among
the herdsmen are not even Nigerians. They are
Senegalese and Malians.

“It is therefore unwise of us as Nigerians to
allow a few lawless foreigners to cause
religious or ethnic war in our land. Let us
separate criminals from their tribe or religion.
We should resist the temptation to stigmatise
Fulanis or Muslims because a few herdsmen
take the law into their hands. For the
avoidance of doubts, we denounce the criminal
activities of these herdsmen but we should
mind where we point accusing fingers.
“Are Nigerians unaware that the same Fulani
herdsmen have are also been attacking and
killing Muslims in Zamfara, Niger, Kano,
Bauchi and other Northern states? Why have
we been ignoring this angle if we are sincere?
Has the status of a herdsman changed when
he attacks a Northern farmer or a Muslim and
steals his cattle? Let us be objective. Let us
stop criminalizing Fulanis and demonizing
Muslims. It is the height of hypocrisy and
absolute lack of patriotism to give the criminal
activities a religious or ethnic colouration.
“We therefore call on the Nigerian security
agencies to do the needful. Nobody is above
the law. Fayose or no Fayose, Pastor Johnson
Suleman must still be questioned and cautioned
for his vituperations and provocative
statements. He cannot remain tied to Fayose’s
apron string forever.”

Condemning Fayose’s action, the organisation
said, “Even Fayose should be told point blank
that his days as a free man are numbered. He
must answer for his executive rascality and
lawlessness. No governor in the history of
Nigeria has abused his office like Fayose has
done. His cup of executive recklessness has
been filled to the brim. The people of Ekiti
State have indeed entered a ‘one chance’ bus.
Or what do we say about a state governor who
is seldom sober? We do not need a micro-
biologist to tell us whether or not Fayose has
the ‘area boy’ syndrome virus.

“We charge the Nigerian security agencies to
spare no effort in dealing decisively with the
notorious herdsmen who have brought untold
hardship to Nigerian farmers. The full wrath of
the law must be unleashed on them for killing
innocent farmers and destroying their farms.
We appeal to Muslims to go about their lawful
duties and to remain calm and law abiding.
We invite religious leaders to douse tension in
their areas of influence in order to allow peace
to reign.
“As we round up, we remind the United
Nations Organisation, the European Union and
the African Union to take note of the hate
speeches emanating from Nigeria and their
authors for the day when the come will come
to become.”

Who will deliver Christians from killings by fulani herdsmen and persecution from Islamist
Well structured, balanced and measured and also direct to the point response from an evidently matured responsible religious organisation, telling it as it is, without bias and politicising the problem; unlike CAN that often wade into issues making reckless divisive statements loaded with sentiments out of ignorance and very biased narrow perspective e.g. why did John Kerry visited the Sultan, Arabic letters on our currency, Islamic banking, the Sharia etc.
