Painfully so that it is those that called themselves "umuchineke" that are spearheading those fallacious rumours.

They wished Buhari never became their president but God says something differently.
After then, the wished GEJ never handover power to him but GEJ became smart the first time.
Now that he's in power they are wishing him death not knowing that there is a cover from God and people he leads that guaranteed him special protection.
Instead, they will be the ones who would develop HBP and die from stroke; while Buhari continues unperturbed.

This reckless behaviour has been about for quite a while, I recall when such example was captured from the north how so many bigots descended on the thread and abused us northerners; yet now you will notice the absence of such bigotry since this time it is happening in the south.
Some of the same and its variants examples:

In Kano, they can only attempt that in Sabon Gari, where most Igbos stay; why not try it in the main city of Kano and therefore test their popularity - even if it happens, believe me, 99% of Kano residents will not even notice it; they'll be wasting their time.

A typical Nigerian that will always shy away from the truth.
Herdsmen just killed more than 900 Christians in Kaduna within the space of two months and you are calling it an economic problem?.
I have few questions for you
1. Who owns the land that these Fulani herdsmen invades that leads to all this killings?
2.What is the nationality of these herdsmen?
3. Why is it that these herdsmen moves mainly at night and attacks by night too?
4. Why is that aftermath of these herdsmen attacks, each time the Christians wants to retaliate, the Nigerian army will either Arrest them or even kill them?
5. How many Muslim communities have been attacked by these herdsmen?
If you can sincerely answer this questions and still believed there's no Islamic agenda by Buhari administration, then either your a kid, a Zombie ,an Afonja or all of the above
Your questions are full of unbelievable ignorance that is so hard to imagine.

Christianity EtcRe: Why We Won’t Accompany Apostle Suleman To DSS’ Office – CAN by NaMeAboki: 4:34pm On Jan 30, 2017
I am shocked that CAN would unashamedly come out and say it is solidly behind this man.

The least I expected was for the association to distance itself from his action and perhaps issue a general statement of condemnation and advice against such hate speeches, much in the same manner Emir Sanusi checkmated Muslim clerics from following suit - thereby keeping Muslims abay.

Unfortunately, CAN by its declared support for Suleman is condoning incitement to murder and indirectly promoting religious intolerance and possible uprising should this palaver escalate - contrary to the principles of Christianity.

It has lost the little credibility it had after its unfortunate politicisation and romance with the PDP led government under GEJ.

CrimeRe: 2 Missing Herdsmen Found Dead In Delta State by NaMeAboki: 3:10pm On Jan 30, 2017
Such killings and cattle rustling have been happening all the time; the Fulani being uneducated and without a mouthpiece to tell their story often end up suffering in silence; they bear arms mainly out of need to defend themselves and protect their precious live assets, not necessarily for aggression; a cow averages over 200k and just a few of them amount to millions, therefore making them attractive targets for criminals.

This incidence may die down as if forgotten, even for years; however, not to the kith and kin of the slain victims who will no doubt be willingly biding their time; if necessary draw reinforcement from an extensive network of brotherhood till when the time is right.

One thing is certain: they will never forget and will never forgive; therefore the community responsible for these killings should brace themselves from now on till when the Fulani will surely return to extract their pound of flesh - tenfold in revenge.

By the time this will happen, many would have long forgotten the real cause of the reprisal; while the herdsmen would expectedly be making newspaper headlines as the usual wanton aggressors.

As these issues unravel, perhaps we may begin to appreciate the wisdom (in El-Rufai's alleged formula) of locating and trying to compensate them in order to stave off the next round of more deadlier cycle of violence - just saying.

they should just go on killing us becos they are presumed 'formidable'.

you might as well say that we should all vacate Nigeria for them!
By no means, you should report them to the local authorities or their leaders (the Ardo) if they should infringe upon your rights; conversely do not also take advantage of them just because you think they are illiterates and not educated.

In short, do not take the law into your hands; give peace a chance, so we can all move forward.

BudeYahooCom:
Sorry Americans know nigeria more than some nigerians even know themselves. They know there different tribes and religions who have business living with each other. Never ever assume they can't differentiate an Igbo from an Hausa.

Few years ago the US army called for the application of speakers of some selected languages to enlist in their army. They specified IGBO AND HAUSA speakers as some their priority. They didn't say 'Nigerian' because they know no language is called 'nigerian'.

Stop fooling yourself, they do more research and have more records about your country that even some of your lazy professors plagiarize.
Big lie, they specified Yoruba and Hausa; NOT Igbo pls.
I recall a thread here on NL and how the matter was heavily debated, Igbos didn't like it at because they were not included.

@TOPIC:

Majority of Nigerian Muslims don't give a Bleep about Amelica and so would be only minimally affected, however, the same cannot be said for those who equate that country to their heaven on Earth; while we all know who they are and how they have been constituting themselves as nuisances to the Americans, through their obnoxious attitude and criminal activities, representing a significant majority of Nigerians languishing in their jails/on death row etc, thereby giving this country a bad name.

In fact Muslims should welcome this ban because right now liberal Americans are out there in several airports demonstrating against this unwarranted discrimination, this in turn is winning Islam global sympathy and opening many eyes to the unfair demonisation of the religion by the Christian dominated bias media.

Interestingly enough, many Americans and non Muslims worldwide may become curious enough, as a result of this backlash, to want to learn more about Islam and in that way discover the beauty of the religion of Allah.

Arewa governors should muster enough will power to curtail them and stop defending the atrocities. God bless Nigeria.
Apparently, you did not read anything I wrote, particularly the 2nd paragraph, pertaining to local community leaders from both sides.

PLs explain where or how I may have defended ongoing atrocities?

You called for an end to the blame game, having earlier identified some problem areas in the SW with these Bororo herders; yet in the same breath seem to be shifting the blame to northern governors - pls explain how it is their responsibility to deal with what is going on in another man's state; where are those SW governors, what are they doing, sleeping or what - have you also forgotten that many of these Bororo ppl come from beyond the shores of this country, how should northern governors be responsible for them?

The key to the matter, is to first understand the problem and approach it correctly, with involvement of all stakeholders, especially at local level - where any perpetrator is brought to book, therefore bringing a sense of equity and justice to all.

They will comb the internet until they find something resembling the blundering hate speeches of their religious leaders, as part of their woefully failed attempt at damage control, not minding the fact that this is clearly single minority voiced opinion from a nobody; in contrast to the likes of Suleman etc. with thousands of followers and vast network of influence.

By the same token, we can all recall how GEJ stood aloof when his kinsmen e.g. Asari Dokubo were openly inciting hate and insults, and blatantly threatening northerners and the nation as a whole with war should their son fail to win the election.

Omooba77:
Ok,but a responsible government leave us at the mercy of killers. Why are the killers attacling Enugu and Southern Kaduna
The clashes have been happening throughout the country and being managed for what it is, i.e. an economic clash for farming/grazing land between farmers and herders; and not a religious or ethnic war that some enemies of peace are trying to turn it into.

For most of the time when these pastoralists stray into farmlands they are made to pay for the damage through their leadership, the Ardo or LGA and the matter is settled; however, the reverse had increasingly not been the case, when they in turn have been taken advantage of e.g. cattle rustling or being duped etc; which has resulted to them taking the law into their own hands (out of frustration) in line with their culture of extracting revenge.

If these conflicts, particularly in the south, were being properly managed at local levels by local leaders from both sides, a lot of these problems would have been resolved unnoticed without the southern media further compounding it through unnecessary distortion and careless reporting.

Yes, the government is obligated to guarantee protection to its citizen; however, no government (not even sophisticated America) can guarantee absolute security.

Besides, these killings have been going on right throughout GEJ's tenure, including Boko Haram (where thousands were being left unprotected to be slaughtered on daily basis) while huge budgeted sums for security were being shared for his re-election; why then has public/southern media response suddenly taken to a new heightened dimension under Buhari, whose govt seems to be doing far much better security-wise?

Unfortunately, when it comes to such clashes, the nomadic herdsman along with their bush craft will always have an advantage over local settlements who present soft easy fixed sitting targets to their much mobile crafty adversaries.

That is why they often melt away into the bush and the police cannot find or catch them - not necessarily because the police don't want to - do not forget, the police or law enforcement agents are not made of one tribe or adherents of a single religion; some of us simply refuse to think for ourselves and love to hate blindly.

The key to ending the violence is justice for all; anyone involved is apprehended and punished without fear or favour; while political and religious leaders eschew from hate speeches and instead preaching peace and tolerance to their follwers.

This man should just shut up and stop joining issues with El-Rufai or heating the polity.

If El-Rufai allegedly paid off some herdsmen, to break the circle of violence and therefore save lives; well the same cannot be said for him, who quite clearly without a shadow of doubt was instigating ethnic/religious killings through preaching of hatred and disunity between Nigerians.
The more he speaks the more he worsens his case and therefore exposes his bigotry and clannish mentality - he is a disgrace to Nigerian Christians in particular and Christianity in general.
