The funniest set of individuals are people who think Peter Obi's baby voice is a reflection of who he is.

The truth is, the title Okwute was not only because he was named after Peter the Rock but because the faint voiced, baby faced business man gave kidnappers, insurrectionists and armed robbers hell and chased them out of Anambra State.

I was born and brought up in Onitsha and I had prior to Peter's coming, lived through more than 30 daylight bank robbery.

If you lived in Onitsha then, you'd remember bikemen chasing after white or yellow Mitsbushi L300 bus popularly known and referred to as Onu Azụ to collect their own share of the loot.

Yes, their own share.

Bank robbers rob banks, bikemen and other brave road users go after them effectively blocking any attempts by police to chase them, bank robbers continue shooting in the air and then after a while, open the back of the bus and spray part of their loots for these men to pick.

We lived through the legend of the female bank robbers leader who was also their main shooter.

It was also the time when things like 'stray bullet' (Umunachi people call it 'strange bullet') entered our dictionary. Unfortunate bystanders get hit and kikled by bullets from these marauding thieves.

Upper New Market Road, New Market Road and Old Market Road which was effectively the Central Business District in Onitsha played host to most of the banks in the city was turned into a war zone at least once a month.

Police morale was so low that we all heard stories of police men and women wearing civilian clothes under their uniform, vigilante groups stepped into the lacuna created but with poor funding and legislation weighing them down, there was so much they could do and they most times paid the ultimate price (May the soul of Ideke and the souls of all the brave men and women who died protecting Onitsha continue to rest in peace).

While armed robbers were rampaging on one end, kidnappers led by Evans and other kingpins were cherry picking the elites in the city, Ezego, GUO and a host of others were kidnapped, some kidnaps happened within church premises, schools, eateries and the rest.

And then the third end of the criminal trident was made up of petty criminals hiding under the flag of the rising sun and the name MASSOB to hold the commercial city hostage, most people who lived in Onitsha South area of the metropolis will most likely remember that MASSOB under Uwazurike was running an alternate government there, collecting duties and levies and enforcing their own laws.

And then there was Upper Iweka, yes, that Upper Iweka, the name alone sent chills down the spines of travellers and residents, people were robbed there during the day and at night and if they were unfortunate enough, they lost more than their possessions.

Then in comes this 'baby faced, faint voiced former bank manager' who did the impossible and wrestled power from a sitting governor.

We were bemused to put it lightly and we called him names Adaobi Rita Obi, Ogbono Nkita Obi, amongst others.

Because we were a people in love with our chains, we fought against this new order, we composed mocking songs amongst others.

But this man ignored us and set out to work.

By the time he was done, Oso MASSOB has happened in Fegge, Evans and others abandoned the state, bank robberies and armed robbery effectively ended, and Upper Iweka got a new face-lift, even agberos self collect under Peter Obi, nobody going against the law had it easy under him.

He advocated for a law that gave the state the powers to confiscate and demolish premises belonging to kidnappers and other criminal elements and he followed through to the letter.

I remember the midnight and early morning raids, living in Ime Ogbe then, we all woke up to hearing doors being broken and known criminal elements whisked away.

Community policing was strengthened as vigilant groups got operating vehicles and other supports from the government, citizens could report crimes and the locations of criminal elements without fear of being exposed.

We went from a state where thieves wrote open letters to homes and communities and still brazenly carry out their threats to a state where one could go to sleep with both eyes closed.

And all these happened under a man who you all said that he doesn't have chukwuka abi chutzpah.

Okwute aburo guy name ooo.

And if he says he no dey give shishi, don't believe him ooo, he gave criminals in the state hell.

Obi, fresh from the private sector, contested and WON the Governorship of Anambra state with a then "small" party(APGA) against all the God fathers and Big men in Anambra, even when everyone thought he was nuts.

Of course, he was rigged out by PDP in those days of unmatched rigging. But he fought for his mandate for 3 years, and won in the Appeal court. The 1st man to do so in Nigerian electoral history.

After 7 months of been Governor, same PDP chaps in the house of Assembly impeached him cos he wasnt sharing money. He went to court again and got re-instated. Again, the 1st Gov to be impeached and be returned by the court.

In just less than a year, he was asked to leave the Government house by the Powers that be and INEC was instructed to conduct another election to fill his seat. He refused but INEC still went ahead and conduct an election and another person "won" and he was also removed the 3rd time. He refused insisting that he ought to have a full 4 years which he would have had if his mandate was not initially stolen for 3 years , and not the about 1 year INEC was insisting on now. He went to court and fought it to Supreme court and won. He is the reason we now have staggered elections in Edo, Ondo, Osun etc.

He concluded his 4 years and went for relection under small party(APGA) and against the massive machinations of the FG and ACN, won by landslide for himself and his party at state house assembly.

He completed 8 successful years against all odds as Gov of Anambra, and honestly one of the best if not the best Gov in Nigeria recent history.

That is the kinda man he is. Very tough and strategic.

That is why these APC urchins are pissing in their pants at the mention of the name: Obi.

But dem neva see any thing.

Obi is not important. He is a paper weight. He is this. He is that. Etc, etc.

Yet you Tinubu Clowns spend more than 85% of your time and resources(just see here on NL) on Obi.

When you urchins stop giving attention to Obi, we will bliv you that he is feather-weight.

Meanwhile, we will continue to pepper you guys with EVERYTHING Obi, Everywhere. Both online and offline. We will continue to convince everybody around you, including your family members, about the Presidency of Peter Obi.

If Obi Pandora wins three (3) states in Nigeria, then he tried so so so so much. It is statistically impossible for Peter Obi to win the Nigeria presidency, he comes from a zone that does not have the numbers and he lack that alliance to break into other zone and get required numbers.

The only benefit of Obi in this election is that he will cut down Atiku votes in traditional PDP states and give Asiwaju the win.

My only fear is that he does not step down at the last minute as a trick to hand Atiku those traditional PDP states of the SE. That is a possibility.

I remember back in 2018 when NLC president (this same Ayuba Wabb) claimed he will mobilize 6million workers for Labor Party back then in 2019 election, I am not sure if that party got over 100k vote in the general election.

*Tinubu didn't complete his secondary education in Nigeria because he left Nigeria before he graduated.

*He left for the USA and enrolled for a diploma cert which is like a pre-degree. He passed the examination and was certificated.

*The diploma cert was used to secure admission in Chicago state uni to study Accounting.

*He successfully graduated and got a good job.

Ok...we are no longer asking for the secondary school cert since you people said he didnt finish school. But what of his Primary School Leaving cert, abi he didnt finish that one too?

It is basic knowledge that schools don’t issue certificates twice now. Once a certificate is issued, it cannot be reissued again under any circumstances. You of all people should know this.

The only thing that can be done now is for the school to certify that he truly attended and graduated from the school and they have done that severally. If you’re not satisfied, you’re free to make your own enquiry directly from the school. Write to them and they will respond.

Then, where is the certified true copy?

You know that was what he was asking for right?

A certified true copy can stand in lieu of the original cert if missing. Where is it? Why was that not submitted??

1. Did Tinubu complete his Primary school (since you said he didnt complete secondary school)? If he did, where is the primary school leaving cert(why was it not presented to INEC)? If it was destroyed by "unknown" men, why didnt he get a certified true copy in lieu of the "missing" cert?

2. Was it not Tinubu that signed the document he sent to INEC in 1999 even if the "mistake"(i presume submission) came from another person

For some folks, when traveling opportunities come, they grab it and abandon whatever program or business they are doing. I still remember some of my secondary school and university friends who abandon their program and travelled out when they had the chance. It is no big.

What is important is that he completed his university education and the two schools he attended have both publicly confirmed that he indeed attended and graduated from the schools.

There is a report that the Tinubu Campaign HQ just admitted that the 1sg primary and secondary certs presented and signed by Tinubu in 1999 as Gov was false(altho they said that the mistake came from someone else) and that Tinubu did not present any primary and secondary certs this time around.
