Sweetnecta:
where is islam in all of the stealing and cutting of people ask questions from these thieving fulanis? i think the community should gang up on them, because those who do evil should be fought and pushed back. islam is not a religion of faith without action of the faith. the thieves and murderers are giving islam a bad image. shame on these people.

thieving and killing of innocent people neither one of them is part of islam.
i see you always enjoy having a go at fulani who are grazing to survive - survival is a given right, it is not a choice, the patterns are natural, your animals are either grazing or they run away after october there is NOTHING, not for the families or their animals, every fulani family is self sustaining or do you want us to start living off the government?. what is being stolen here? who is being killed here or is discrimination a way how to keep everyone content
Indeed, Fulani martial prowess is legendary. That is why you are little better than slaves throughout the rest of west africa. Anyway, it appears that the Tiv are no fools. . . they know enough about what "peace" means in this case. If they have any sense in their heads, they'll crush you like bugs.
if i want to believe you and the tiv slaughter our brothers we will go there and help our brothers out if our brothers are crying for help we will not stand we have to mobilise from niger to cameroon to senegal if need angry, the tiv have to do the right thing if they don't want to lose benue unless you have accomodation for them in ekiti lipsrsealed

let us be honest and serious a moment. violence does not pay, the tiv have to accept peace as soon as possible or else there will be alot of lives changed for nothing
The Fulani have no claim whatsoever to Benue land.

The Tiv should defend their land and continue shedding Fulani blood. Anyway, they vastly outnumber the Fulani in Benue, and so will eventually prevail in a war of attrition so long as no third parties use the military or police to against them.
no one has declared a war on fulani and won, let us accept peace here ok

benue doesn't belong to the tiv
PoliticsRe: Fulani Herdsmen Strike Again by namfav(m): 12:41pm On Jul 05, 2011
this is 1 war the tiv will never win, we have to live in peace with each other and stop fighting it won't help only helpess women, children, elders, disabled will suffer the media are making it difficult for everyone to understand the true picture, nigeria belongs to all nigerians, why should tribal lines restrict movement? you have to move where you can feed your family and survive
Christianity EtcRe: Nigerian Christians Open Hostility Against Islam by namfav(m): 6:16pm On Jul 04, 2011
There's been a rabid animosity & open aggression against Islam by some Nigerian Christians; even so, on this forum.
This is hostility is further aggravated by the irresponsible utterance of the clergies e.g . Cardinal

for Christsake, we have christian institutions e.g universities all over the state in a so called secular state. Is that okay. Pure hypocrisy, I submit.
Tell all those involve in this reckless venture to allow Muslims pursue their legitimate yearning for peaceful commercial venture.

Lest your reckless 'crusadic' utterances leads us all to a Nigerian apocalypses, if the country must be segregated, at least let pursue a peaceful end.

Christians! Stop fanning the flame of hatred.
well said, some christians are doing more harm than good with their comments

sirjec:
We the Christians don't have anything to discuss with the Islamist. All we are saying that he should not take us for a ride. The said provisions of the said Islamic Bank are also similar to the real Christian practices so why should it bear ISLAMIC BANKING?

Which Christian will enter such bank to do Business?

We want to spend Nigerian's money on things that will be beneficial to one section of the populace. To be precise, we want to spend money gotten from Christians to establish what only the Muslims will benefit from? Is it fair?

Some of us that call ourselves Christians don't know the tricks of Muslims and that they are constantly fighting to Islamize this country.

It is unconstitutional as far as I am concern. Just that this Jihadist that calls himself Sanusi want to cause problem in this country. And I hope when the problem starts, he will defend it.
are you paranoid? if the agenda of muslims in nigeria was to have a complete muslim nation it would have been easy if you consider the number of muslims we have been led by and the number of influential muslim politician, a islamic bank will not be built at your doorstep in the south south, south east, not atall f00l, and you are not forced to use it

now go to hell

maybe i'm impatient but so are a lot of Nigerians and I believe GEJ is being cautious and a lil diplomatic. If you were GEJ, what would you do namfav?
accept the dialogue, hear what they have to say (include respected imams and islamic scholars in the dialogue) and see if they are really valid in northern nigeria

You blame GEJ for the escalation . . .is it because he did not step down for some Northern maggots  . . . who feel they own Nigeria . . and as such he should step down to accommodate those eediots . . Very insightful thought from you
gej is a yes man, he has no authority and i don't see how things will get better if not worse while he is in charge

he has to go, period, things are getting worse every week we're getting tired  of this undecided  undecided  undecided

accept dialogue with and for what? Why should GEJ step down and for who?
Namfav, you seem to be enjoying all these chaos. Hop you wont fall victim soon.
you assume i enjoy but i don't its why i want a dialogue, the people who don't consider it are the ones who want the violence to continue eventually in every conflict there has to be a truce violence is not it i thought we learn in 2009 look how the americans are trying to get out of afghanistan by having dialogue, i blame gej for the escalation, where is the f00l?

so all these things are in the quran. It simply means these people re not open to logical reasoning. They are only interested in blood shed. No body in their sane mind need to be told before this act leads thm farther away from islam even if they where ever interested. Thank God for my faith.

houvest:
Not just to caution. Are they organised? Is there a plan on the ground? The Biafra experience should teach the SE groups to plan properly and solidly before making verbal statements. I do not at all support violence but if Boko Haram starts going beyond their territory and the State can no longer protect her citizens, other parts of the country need to have  survival plans. For all I believe, Al Qaeda is very much around and should not be treated with kid gloves. Groups might have to understudy how Israel contained the terrorist Arab Organisations around them in case of a future engagement. Not just to send words of caution.
it is just empty promises, it happens alot with the ibo youths, ask yourself, what can the ibo youths do? can they fight? are they trained to fight? are they willing to go nowhere fast and die for nothing? who do they want to fight, do they have names, do the people they want to fight have uniforms, how will they approach maiduguri? empty buckets make the most noise
