accept the dialogue, hear what they have to say (include respected imams and islamic scholars in the dialogue) and see if they are really valid in northern nigeria

Not just to caution. Are they organised? Is there a plan on the ground?The Biafra experience should teach the SE groups to plan properly and solidly before making verbal statements. I do not at all support violence but if Boko Haram starts going beyond their territory and the State can no longer protect her citizens, other parts of the country need to have  survival plans. For all I believe, Al Qaeda is very much around and should not be treated with kid gloves.
