Good day to everyone. I need advice from people who might have experienced this.
I'm doing master's program in one of the Federal Universities in the country and right now I feel dissatisfied with the program. I have CGPA of 3.81 after first and second semesters so it is not an issue of poor academic performance. I teach in a private school with a meagre salary but manageable to cater for my nuclear family's needs but the question that is always in my mind is: what next after MSc? Truth be told, doing MSc in Nigeria is actually not worth it to some extent. I'm planning to divert my remaining energy and my meagre resources to business. I mean business that can produce 1k/per day to complement my salary. Is it appropriate to abandon the program now?

Dont abandon it. Your whole effort will be a waste. I always believe in going through to the very end in projects like this since, resources, time and effort has been committed.
Just get through with and get a two-prong approach- biz and then job( if a good one comes). Having a master does not automatically qualify you for an instant upliftment, though i have seen countless folks whose tide changed when dey got their masters.

I intend following it up to phd level not because of job or lecturing stuff but for my personal satisfaction (i told myself that before i even gained admission for my first degree)

Its just pathetic the kind of system we have that is producing this set of heart less leader's we are having in this Nigeria. When we ought to be in this kind of league competing with innovations but we are here trowing banters on petty issues.
Its as if impossible to have stable electricity in Nigeria but a private University in Ogun has nulify that thought by building one thousand megawatts of electricity on its own, that projection is currently 20% of Nigeria's electricity output. Imagine how huge relief that project will be for Nigeria at large. Yet some people will say stable electricity is not possible in Nigeria.

Let's ask ourselves this question, what role has the public universities played in solving Nigeria's electricity problem in terms of research for stable national development. What solutions has the university communities provided to ensure our refineries are working (mauntainance and building).

Its time we begin to be strictly objective if really we wanna attain positive heights as a Nation.

Have you given the university dons and even ordinary nigerians the free hand to intervene? Nigeria abounds with talents but will they be allowed to come on board and salvage the situation? Do u think these politicians dont know the right thing to do? They know! They allow this failure so they can profit from it.

There was a guy who graduated in my set. He was a bit older than most of us and his maturity showed. One day while gisting it came out that this was his second time trying to get a degree.

What happened the first time? He had gotten all the way to final year in Chemistry. Only for WAEC tO cancel the centre where he had written and gotten his 5 credits for mass cheating(after 3 years) I remember looking at him in horror. I knew he wasn't the type to cheat. So not only did he get punished for the misdeeds of others. He lost his admission after already spending three years. What did he do? He went back and started all over again from writing WAEC and now was in the final year with us.

His decision to press on even though life had dealt him a bad hand stayed with me. He is doing fine now in life. This story is 10 years old.

Success rewards persistence, can-do spirit, bravery in the face of challenges, refusal to get discouraged. Whatever the outcome tell yourself that nothing will keep you from succeeding even it means you have to start all over again. Your success can only be delayed but never denied.

Una wan kill erico2k2 with question there is nothing like v4. It is called i4 or 4 plugs. This refers to the configuration straight, inline v-shaped etc. You have v6 though.

Really feel for you but honestly, i am just laffing. You are quite young that's why you are worried. When you grow a bit older, you will discover it doesn't matter. Carry yourself with pride son. The most important thing in life is achieving you set goals and affecting the lives of people who come your way.
I used to suffer from acne and other things when i was in secondary school. Several times i have been so depressed i will even missed classes. What do i think about it now? I was just plain foolish and it doesn't really matter now.
Just go on skin cuts for now.

Again cattle business is private business. There shall be no FG acquired land in our terroritory for herdsman. FG should stay away from this matter.

If the state government build ranches, they can apply to rent space and keep their cattle. If they can afford land, let them approach the native and buy land and build their ranches. It doesn't make any sense to have all of them in one place with their families. How many people do you need to manage a cattle ranch of 5000 cattle?

Herdsman should approach their business as business and do what other business men do - negotiate. They should humble themself and approach land owners for land; they should follow the process. And if they are not able to meet the requirement, they should go back to Chad, Libya where the President said they came from.

Out there are temptations, in fact, some husband - searching ladies will even prefer they are your second wife somewhere else.

How is her response to you? Is it cordial and friendly or does she show resentment at your presence?
I will still advice that you find a good time, when she is happy ( u can create that), and calmly, lovingly find out what's wrong. Sometimes women want to know that they are desired, appreciated and loved. Even if you say it a million times, they never get tired of hearing it and may even pick offense if you stop.
