Great thread @ OP. I read through all your posts and I can relate to every emotion and attitude. Growing up people didn't understand me and they still don't. As an adult I am happy that I do not see myself as strange but do understand my idiosyncrasies. I do not make apologies for the way I am and if people can't accept me for who I am, then they are not meant to be part of my life. I am definitely following this thread and I hope you will update on a regular basis. Also if you are interested, there are Facebook groups that are made up of introverts. It is lovely interacting with like-minded people. You don't have to be an active participant but you can always read up on other people's experiences.

This is not always the case. So many stories have been told of people who left the partners who stuck by them when they had nothing. I used the term partners because both men and women do it. They start taking these partners for granted. Then they start believing that there are better people out there and since their levels have changed, they should go out there and look for the "right" person for them.

Wow it would be nice if you could show some empathy. Have you ever loved in your life? So you think it is easy to get married to someone you have no feelings for? Why do you think there are so many unhappy married people out there? Would you be happy if you found out that your husband married you because he was trying to get over his ex? You should instead encourage him to heal himself and appreciate the fact that he has been honest about his predicament. Depression is a serious mental illness and it is time we showed more understanding of people who suffer from it. When it is severe it takes a while to get out of the funk.

I work in a federal government parastatals in the HR department. My former boss used to give me Kudos each time I presented a memo to him to vet. Sometimes he will either see some corrections or he will sign immediately.

But since a new boss came na wahala oh. I will try my best with the help of Oxford dictionary newest edition to present a good memo devoid of grammatical blunder to him still either he cancels the entire write up or he writes his own. And some times sometimes when he writes his own I will give it to the secretary to type and after that I will present it to him for him to sign but instead of signing it he will cancel it again his own write up oh. Some times Sometimes I will spend a whole day presenting one memo.

I Am confused now that if there is a memo I will write it any how and then present it to him because no matter how I tried he will do correction.

@op I have highlighted some of the errors in your post so instead of complaining you should brush up on your grammar. Take this period as an opportunity to learn. Prove to your boss that you want to learn. Maybe it would be a good idea to have your colleague to look at each memo before you present it to your boss.

Your argument is senseless. If you worked hard for your money you will be very cautious with the way you spend it because you know how much energy you put into making the money. The reason why fraudsters are "generous" is due to the fact that they didn't work for the money. Like they say "easy come, easy go". We as a nation should stop promoting fraudsters and learn to question people's sources of income. If I saw my husband spending willy-nilly, I will definitely ask questions and voice my distaste if indeed he got the money illegally. The same goes for any family member of mine.

@Seun, I support this motion. This is also regarding the victims of accidents. We need to learn how to respect people's privacy.
