Not every woman is good for nothing. There are good and bad in any dimension of life. There are women who finished school with good degrees and have great jobs that cover all their expenses, there are women how are passionate about a particular line of business and have become successful at it, there are women who have become famous and celebrated out of sheer talent and determination. The average man is one sided, he measure one for all and is bigoted in his ideas. There are wonderful women out there, there are hardworking women out there, there are inspiring women out there. We must learn to see beyond our limited experience and stop all the nonsense of tagging all women as unproductive and unprofessional. If you always come across the unproductive types, there is something in you that is of such homogeneity. Look inward and stop expecting experiences you don't deserve. A lot of women out there are wonderful creatures, not all women in Nigeria are good for nothing. 4 Likes |

 There is nothing extraordinary in life_ wealth, fame, success, power, beauty and talent are all basic in life. Actually the only thing special or extraordinary is what you don't have. A person in penury is obsessed with wealth, a person despised is obsessed with honor, a person that finds it difficult to make friends seek fame as the solution, the most insecure people gravitate toward position of power to feel a sense of security. It is an irony but people seek the ideal for selfish reasons. Money, power, fame, beauty are the extraordinary things people are seeking. Put on your television and you may become covetous of all those seemingly larger than life personalities seen in glamour; but is anything extraordinary about glamour and make up_ I honestly don't think so. We live in a setting where our value come from the outside and we feel someone with more money, fame, status is simply better. People will steal, lie, cheat just to put up with what they are not! The young generation are so interested in taking photos, looking for the easy way out_ believing they are on the route to personal success and fame. Rather than taking life slowly and doing things properly, many are moving at the speed of light neglecting the essentials_ such only lead to heavy wreckage. Extraordinary mindset summarizes all that is glamorous, pompous, loud and popular. Life is very ordinary, there is nothing delirious about it. Being a huge success is not something new to the world. Being extremely talented is not something new in human history, everything found today is just the same repetition of history. Human society will ever be populated by geniuses, innovators, savants and dullards. Ordinary is the basic vibe of life, and anyone that can match that tone is very practical. Whoever and whatsoever you are just remember we live in an ordinary world. The universe wouldn't change its cause because someone has broken the yoke of poverty and has moved from rags to riches. When we stop being obsessed with the extraordinary_ we start living ordinarily and basic. We begin to understand life is not just black and white; not just about success and happiness, fame and enjoyment but about realizations that come from an awakened Soul.  Untamed world of wild landscapes, akin to the lands in which the gods reside. Hopes are high for evil days to come to a close! Kinship to one another but ruled by lower passions of pride, lust, greed and vanity. O Mother African teach us the way to innate harmony. Unborn ethics, regimes of the savage, governance not in line with the law. A survival of the fittest, the most brutal hoard the spoil; with personal gratification as the theme. The old corrupt the young with lessons of fear, superstition and hypocrisy. They feast to their stomach full_ they bow and worship the ungodly traits, plunging the lands deeper to ruin. A movie theater_ a setting for all characters, were vile performances are shamelessly displayed. The curtain arises slowly and the drama unfolds:_ Political instabilities, tribal wars, savage tendencies, dwindling economies and unprepared rulers. Power is the center stage, intolerance has the lower stage, both wreck havoc on whom to run the show. Corruption is stealthily dismantling the set, slowly taking over the golden mane. O Mother Africa, land of beautiful plains with nimble zebras, buffalos, enduring elephants, kingly lion's that roar like the heavy laden rain. Forests filled with monkeys, baboons, gazelles and warthogs. Such is not the final stage play, grotesque characters must someday leave the scene. West African lands are to become paradise, an abode of peace, a harmonious note resounding through the continent. Now! Predators and scavengers, tyrants and kings, oppressed and dejects, lift up your heads for the new is approaching!  Intellect is the most important sphere of any human life, hence the cultivation of such vital instrument is highly priced. Just as the body need exercise, fresh air, proper diet, and sleep to stay healthy the intellect need stimulation from books, analytical thinking, ideas, sound reasoning, problem solving and challenges in order to remain at its best. Without a well developed intellect with the sound deductive faculty problems will keep on piling to the point of frustration. People that neglect their intellect in pursuit of gross materials find it difficult to handle difficult situation and adapt to novel experience. They are evasive of what count most in stimulating patterns for mental growth and problem solving. Simulations are a part of daily living and problems will always be thrown at us. Believe me life is not a lazy man's game, to climb the peak of any mountain there must be both mental and physical synchronicity. Everything found in nature is in a constant state of exertion. Any form that become indolent speedily arrive at a standstill, retrogress further and finally become extinct. This law applies to human beings, meaning everyone must be at their best to live healthy. Nations whose intellectual sphere is dominant seem to have better political, economic, structural and artistic expression than those whose intellectual sphere remain under- cultivated. Peoples can easily be enslaved through ignorance but with knowledge they understand happenings around themselves. The human mind thrives on reading and stimulation in order to grow, without the ability to absorb information and classify experiences there is a high chance of remaining stagnated in all areas of life. To browse through information is one thing and to derive the essence of the information is another thing entirely. We read from three basic attitudes either forced, casually or out of necessity of purpose. To develop healthily there must be a desire to learn and absorb, books provide such medium. Whenever we take up a book, magazine, article or any form of mental stimulation we should learn to temporarily suspend our judgment and opinion. Half truth pose danger of misunderstanding with this we must finish whatever book we start, moving from word to word, sentence to sentence building up to the natural climax. Decline in study culture is due to the huge activities of the entertainment industry globally. Games, movies, music, social media and all the enticement to quick success and fame. Less and less time for learning and the end of such habit is living a bland life of little or no contribution. There must be a balance between learning and entertainment. Realization comes through learning and can serve as a big eye opener. Two percent of the population control the major stake in almost anything because the two percent possess the most evolved minds. The worlds richest people read no less than six hours a day. With such habit they build mental associations that are novel in any field. While the ninety eight percent regurgitate on the same knowledge, same technique, same approach producing the same flat result. Every knowledge possessed serve as a piece to the overall riddle of survival. Try out new genre of books and you may be surprised what turns out of such habit. Learn to sift out the essence of the instruction and put them into practice. Break out of the rigidity of formality and explore more. Most of mankind's best ideas are found in classic books, it will do you good to explore the Harvard classics and the Britannica great books. I cannot overstate the importance of reading in the refinement of human life and circumstance. When you hate reading you hate learning, when you hate learning you swim in the filth pool of mediocrity. Each individual is gifted with intellect be you African, Asian, European, American and we solve personal, social and political puzzles through such medium. I got the shock of my life, when this morning I was on my way to exercise. The driver of the taxi immediately told me as I shot the car door that general elections across the country have been canceled. I looked at him long and hand and he did same, on a no-word level we both thought this must be a joke. What was the commission doing during the four years space before the next elections. For such decision to be made with the excuse of lack of preparation is utter stupidity, utter shamlessness. This is corruption of the most dirty level, you don't expect the citizens to be satisfied. All over the country there is uproar, analysis and confusion, all caused by a sloppy institution. They should all be taken to account, there is foul play in this decision. There is absolutely no excuse to cancel general elections on a day prescribed. People have travelled far to make a vote, youth service members for use at the elections are stranded. When will all this end, when will these demons in human forms be chased back to hell . Hell is unleashed in this country, the is utter chaos, no accountability in anything, no proper preparation in most sectors. The only thing that keeps Nigerians from snapping is hope, hope that one day the evil souls that govern this great nation will be destroyed. |

Pls let's learn to speak with wisdom. When the house get old who calls for repairs? When the gas finishes who provides for the next? Who settles the children school fees and the house rent? Who refurbishes the toilet and bath space when dilapedated. Who thinks of moving the family out of a rented place? Who buys and maintains cars, chairs, electronics, electricals, roof leaks and etc.. .. A man has more roles to play in a marriage, so to cooks, raise the children, clean the house should not be a big deal. A woman can choose to work or not, but this is not afforded for a man. Gisters:She's kind of right, on her level she is right. For her promiscuous married men are her catch, they take care of her and don't stress her. She may not be the marriage type, she feeds on the indiscipline of men. The more undisciplined you are as a man the more opportunities you create for these type of women. You may want to punish him for being selfish. You may feel you have been a good tenant and you don't deserve to be given quick notice.... As if you were a irresponsible tenant. Trying to deal with him only make things difficult in return for you. It's his property and he can do as he likes. Even if you win and are given six months, you will be living in an antagonist environment, with hate directed towards you. I disagree with such ideas. Influence is a major factor in a child's development. People they come across are those liable to uplift or currupt them. Children get currupt in schools also, some schools are hideout for deep corruption, the environment is just so unhealthy. Having children is a very mighty responsibility, any carelessness in it and you have unleashed a monster in society, or a genius that will further his generation. 2 Likes |
