PoliticsRe: Ijaw And PMB. by naso2(m): 4:34pm On Oct 21, 2015
An ijaw man is not known for cowardice. We take decisions and stand by it. I don't understand the egg and basket theory here. Ijaws supported their son, abokis also supported theirs. Yes GEJ lost but there is nothing to panic about.

If PMB is smart, he should know that he is the one to extend the hand of fellowship to the Ijaws. I mean what I just said and stand by it. "The poor man is awake because he is hungry, and the rich man can not sleep becuase he knows the poor man is awake, and could be planning something" this saying explains it all. It is in PMB's interest to give the poor man what he needs to sleep so that he can sleep too.

On bayelsa elections, while Dickson has not been impressive at all, sylva is definitely not the option for bayelsans. Apc goofed the minute they allowed sylva use his cult boys to intimidate other contestants. It is bad enough that a governor like dickson is not performing but will be the worst "daymare" for that governor to be replaced by. Another serial non-performer who delights in blood like sylva.

Nuff said for now
PoliticsRe: How Ijaws Used Naive Igbos To Wipe Their Political Arse! by naso2(m): 3:45pm On Oct 20, 2015
Only politically naïve folks believed in the original PDP zoning that stipulated a rotation between NORTH and SOUTH.

There was never a plan to some day allow an ND or Igbo son control the affairs of the Nation. The body language when Ihejirika was made COAS tells it all. I hope someone understands.

The agitation in the ND had reached hyper levels and the "owners" of the establishment thought they needed to do something to give the ND some false sense of ownership, hence the choice of GEJ as running mate to Yar a dua. As fate would have it Yar a dua died and GEJ had to be sworn in. The happenings just before he died where the nation was rudderless for more than 3 months with a VP who had no clue of what was happening how much more acting in UMYA's stead , sums up the thinking .

Doctrine of necessity was invoked to protect business for the "owners" before things went bad, hence GEJ was made acting president although many questioned the legality then.

I don't want to be drawn into this argument as an IJAW man as one would simply be playing into the hands of the forces that seem too uncomfortable to have an entire bloc SS and SE being in the "opposition".

Was it right for GEJ to contest against the perceived zoning arrangement? I would say yes as even our SE brothers saw it as a risk worthwhile.

For the records Clarke as an Ijaw man , is not the voice of the IJAWS. As an elder he may have shown some "strong" support for GEJ then , which possibly for business/personal reasons he seems ready to switch to the govt of the day, but it does not tell the story that the average Ijaw man benefited much from GEJ's govt.

If you dey fight tinubu , try make the mata no reach court because the guy get massive influence in the judiciary. Govt lawyers in his payroll are countless.

As much as I don't like tinubu, the truth is that saraki is walking on a thread.

While i was still at ilorin, there was this ugly mofo with the worst tribal marks i had ever seen on a human being. But, he had the attention of all the beautiful chicks on campus, wore the baddest clothes, and was always on ride. His name was Ajia. I say "was" cause last i heard, he was executed for some political killings he did for some politicians in Ilorin. I remember one day, i and tony tetuila was strolling back from a night reading class when this mofo accosted us. His grief was that tony was toasting one of the chicks he was targeting. Tony was always a ladies man, even with his k leg. Ol'boy, come see threat. I was almost pissing my pants. Things would have gotten really bad if not for smart diplomacy from tony. That was the last time i was seen publicly on campus with tony. I know wan die. Anyway, i digress. Ajia is dead now and good riddance. All the fine clothes and beautiful girls, where dem de now? Also, God punish Tunde Ojomo. Head of Eiye confraternity 1996. May he rot in Hell for the terror he unleashed on all of us.

while I want things to be settled amicably , I want to say people need to be reminded that any attempt to use brute force like some said, use jet fighters to decimate communities in Ijaw Land may just signal the final collapse of the economy.

Once there is unrest , the oil companies will "take cover" irrespective of the side with major casualties and the economy suffers , especially now that the oil market seem flooded and a lot of buyers have reasonable alternatives.

obailala:

Now something striking was revealed in this your research. So you mean OBJ actually saved ECA funds of up to $20billion? shocked Wow!

OBJ met a nation with a foreign reserve of $5.4billion but he grew this figure to well over $40billion by the time he left office. He also saved ECA funds of $20billion and this same man also paid off Nigeria's external debt of $12billion (after negotiating it down from over $30billion in his numerous foreign trips). Lest I forget, the average oil price in the tenure of OBJ was $38 per barrel as against the $100 per barrel average in the reign of GEJ.

Meanwhile, Obasanjo who achieved the above is the same man we all called (and still call) 'useless thief' and Ota monkey while we go ahead to defend, praise, glorify and immortalise his successors who crashed our entire reserves in a space of 5 years when we had an economic boom. How can any right thinking society do this?... why is the black man like this for God's sake?

I have learnt a lesson in life that it takes you to meet a devil before you can truly identify who the angels are. OBJ deserves an apology from Nigerians.
on the grounds of what is constitutionally correct, do you know that it was illegal for OBJ to help the states and local governments save excess revenue in ECA? Obj could do that because he had zero respect for the rule of law. Uwais once said that he wished the he had the constitutional powers to jail obj. How could a sitting president disobey a supreme court ruling?

Lagos state kept placing advertorials in the print and electronic media that it was wrong for FG to help the states save their money.

Una dey here dey turn OBJ to hero.

The issue at hand is if $2b was stolen. I am happy people are not talking about stealing again but due process in the payment of the money. make una relax. tell una man to leave this wild goose chase and start working.

Watch it closely; let it teach you a thing or two.
Nobody has to tell it what to do.
All summer it stores up food;
at harvest it stockpiles provisions.
So how long are you going to laze around doing nothing?
How long before you get out of bed?

proverbs 6:6-11
Don’t waste your time on useless work, mere busywork, the barren pursuits of darkness. Expose these things for the sham they are. It’s a scandal when people waste their lives on things they must do in the darkness where no one will see. Rip the cover off those frauds and see how attractive they look in the light of Christ.

Wake up from your sleep,
Climb out of your coffins;
Christ will show you the light!

So watch your step. Use your head. Make the most of every chance you get. These are desperate times!
