bawomolo:Yes partnership but Who leads? |
bawomolo:If you believe in christian doctrine , it is clearly stated in the bible. Yes may be the "submission" talk is to heavy in our time, how about who leads? Do you have questions as to who the leader should be and who created the rule too? |
zomby: Good thinking,good question. |
NeroPapas:"PUT HER IN HER PLACE" NA IM BE THE WAHALA NOW |
Rooneyboy:My guy success is relative we all know. In this context we are talking of "more successful ladies" with the likely know-all/take- charge attitude that come with it. |
OneNaija:You must have skipped age 17 , hence you took no photographs which would have served as reference AND You do not have younger siblings that are teens AND None of your neighbours have children that are 17. Also note that the team is not called flying Eaglets |

@OP When you use the term "afraid" it raises questions about you intent here: if it is to be better informed or to engage the men here in some gender equality/superiority duel. You have said that there are a few men out there that are not intimidated by woman's success, and some guys here have explained that there are also a few exceptional women that have not allowed there success to erode every sense of humility that becomes a woman. What else do you want to hear? Do THE ARITHMETIC AND SPOT THE GAP. First when we talk success, we know it is relative. Within the context of our discuss if both partners are bankers and the woman is a senior manager and the guy is a deputy manager then she is seen as more successful. The question now is how freely will she be willing to have her partner come to her office and be introduced to her colleagues? How is her behavior to her husband shaped/reshaped as she meets(as a consequence of her professional/official calls) more succesful men that could be her husband's age? while most women on paper find it easy to mouth off that success does not affect their attitude, the truth remains that by some inate workings they(women) freely cede leadership only to men that are ahead of them and sometimes the husband is not fortunate to fall in this cadre. |
amhurting:You have said that you guys have intermintently had trust issues, later you made hurtful utterances. He went AWOL to reappraise the situation in his HURTING state, now he comes back with some "apology" and you are still asking for remorse and whatever. Abeg make we hear word jare, its always easy to play the victim , but everyone has a conscience which is an open wound that can be healed only with the truth. With all you confessed he has contributed to your personal development, you do not need an "Emmanuel" to tell you he really loves you. If he posted his own side of the story here on NL , are you sure of retaining 50% of this band of sympathisers? The guy's response might not have been the best, but you seem not to appreciate that he could he hurting far more than whatever you are experiencing. A man whose tears drop inwards might by far more pained than a wailing lady. If you do not work on the trust issues and learn to curb snide comments ,you can be sure you still have many more related bouts in future. Good luck |
@kafanchan You self get malaria , if you think say na only you see and talk say SLS no dey do the job professionally. ![]() |
^^^^^^^^^ May be you need an interpreter to understand my post, but my guy that still does not call for snide comments about people's parents. I will try not to respond to your posts again, since it appears you need a bronchure to understand what a forum like this is primarily meant for, but trust me I can make this thread dirtier if thats the path you want us to tread. |
SGN:Who in the banks would have contested it? Is it the new appointed MD's of the banks who are working for Sanusi?. Yes the EDW talk may have been true, but remember that SLS said after the 5 banks ,he did not expect anything extraordinary from the second set of banks audited . why? because he was sure the EDW had told the story of the stress points in the industry. So what happened to second set of banks? Its either the data upon which the first audit was done was incomplete(therefore unreliable) or there was no data at all. Lets call for accountability and fairness at all levels. If the Aresekolas and OtudekoS that own FBN are bad debtors in other banks, who knows what they are covering up FBN? |
bawomolo:I do not know what you are driving at here . A man was chief risk officer (Executive director) for 3yrs plus and GMD for 6 months and your are still asking these questions? May be you want to find out what an ED RISK MGT does in any bank before we talk on this again. No be him dey approve loan may be na me? |
@Dr Kitaun All you are saying is not relevant here at all. The issue here is that when you play a 26 yr old in a competition meant for U-17, you have denied a lot of younger Nigerian lads the opportunity to showcase their talents. When a player at his peak is officially 17 years, what benefit does the country get in the long run? NOthing. I know a 17yr old nigerian may not be able to match his german counterpart in size, but for goodness sakes , playing a 25yr old player is way off. Can anyone tell me the whereabouts of the "good players" of the 2001 eaglets that came second behind france? MAKE WE TALK TRUE ABEG. |
This sanusi man just like to dey make noise. Is he not part of the economic team, so why not make his "weird" economics known in their meetings , instead of this glory seeking noise before the entire world? |
vwvw:I am sure Mozambique will not lose to tunisia. The question is : can Nigeria beat Kenya? I hear the kenyans are already dream of beating the SE sily something in the region of 3-0. Na we bring ourself down make fly dey use us play. |
Those supporting this kind of cheating in the name of patriotism should cover their faces in shame. This is developmental football, we do not have to win at all cost. Look at the burkina faso team, they look exactly like secondary school children. Even if I get appollo, I go still know say this guy don pass 25 years. This cheating is why we do not benefit from this competitions as a nation. Take the 2001 Eaglet team in TRINDAD AND TOBAGO, they beat every team enroute the final and won silver . We felt we saw players that could develop into super stars in that team, but what is the story today? Aside OPABUMI that made a brief entry into the super eagles team in korea 2002 (Thanks to Onigbinde Afenifere moves), we do not have a single member of that team playing in any top league in the world not to talk of SE? Abeg make fifa hit us hard, then we go learn. There are abundant talents in our secondary schools if the coaches and NFF will be willing to work. Those days we used to have standing YSFON teams from u-13 that served as pool for player selection in age grade comptetitions, these were actually young lads. What happened to all of that now? |
edwin101:Oga , Sanusi was the Executive Director Risk management in FBN from 2005 to 2008. He became the GMD in 2009. This 6 months theory is not correct. |
aisha2:We want true statements sure. But if the CBN is not transparent in this exercise we will only be postponing the evil day. It could still be that the 74billion FBN gave is an understatement of the facts. I am looking beyond sanusi thats why I am asking questions about the process. The question is , does sanusi look beyond himself in this exercise? If another "umpire" comes and runs a fair audit, will all the banks he has pronounced safe come out clean? |
I dont understand what this thread is about, but the truth is we need to curb all the country bashing threads. The country is U and I . Bad leadership we all say, but leaders are picked from amongst the people. followership is a problem for us in the country too. Well if you care to know I enjoyed free education from primary sch to university. Na government do am. Development is a collective effort. The people must be ready to assist/cooperate with the leadership at every level. Some of us find it difficult to obey just traffic lights but will easily criticise government. |
aisha2:So wrong my dear. The man(SANUSI) was ED RISK from 2005-2009. So whats the point? |
make okah kool down. Dem don know am , let him allow the next cadre of mend take over. If government still want to dey talk story na im be say oil exports go still drop very soon. |
aisha2:Agreed but , If I may ask , what is the EFCC and SLS doing about the "bad debtors" of the healthy banks. Or the bad debtors that have stubbornly refused to pay are free to do as they like in this case unlike the sanctioned banks? Why did the CBN not publish the bad loans for all the "healthy" banks for nigerians to fairly appraise the entire process? No matter how you look at it , there are salient questions that have been left unanswered. |
Aside the provisioning for these loans , I have consistently asked that the CBN release the names of the bad debtors in the "healthy" banks but Sanusi in his "wisdom" did not. We still dey watch. Banking stocks go reach rock bottom very soon |
@poster You are biased. simple Soludo did well during his tenure, sanusi is doing what "he feels right " for the moment. Not everyone is as enthusiastic as you are about Sanusi anyway. I believe he just started cooking something, when he finishes we we all appraise the final product. I sincerely hope this is not another anti-governoship induced thread anyway |
Can someone tell me the connection between soul winning and predicting match scoreline? |
when you think goals and assists, it sure has to be DROGBA any day |
@oiseworld I agree that something is wrong with the country. I agree that the government at every level need to do much more than what we see. I have already stated that this approach of threatening AIT with shutdown is not the best. However I believe that we all have to show accountability and the minimum level of professionalism needed in our different fields. Journalists should be more professional . I want balanced reporting. Gbanga's style is far from it. |
@Beaf I dey support you die. All dis GDP talk na noise. So na all dis noise na im their vision 2020:20 mean? ![]() |
The judge only did his job so all this "high praise" looks unnecessary. If you guys know how the country works , you will be shocked to find that the this judgement may have been at the instance of the Tinubu's and YARADUA'S of this world. Besides legally when cases are won and criminals prosecuted in more advanced countries , people praise the strength and tact of the prosecution and not the judge's bravery. |
While I believe the president should have taken a more diplomatic/legal stance against this Gbenga guy, I think a lot of us are not comparing like with like here. Why is everbody talking about Fox news and Obama as if that is the only difference between Nigeria and USA. America is planets ahead of Nigeria ,which shows in almost every facet of life. Sorry we are not America and we have to live with that for now. The sense of judgement of the average American is high enough to discern the spirit and the letter of FOX reports. Infact may be Obama should not have reacted and not much would change. Americans know better. In Nigeria the case is far different except if we want to keep decieving ourselves. Just one unfounded sensational reporting can set the entire Northern axis of the nation on fire. I see Gbenga as biased in his reporting . When a journalist does everything , from his panelist to the kind of questions to always portray things negatively , I think he needs be cautioned expecially when he turns the blind eye constantly on the flaws of certain other public elements. |
mbulela:I can bet that Jarus will show up very soon and religiously defend his oga . We still the watch dis SLS movie. ![]() |
