Ibime: Its either you are ignorant, wilfully ignorant or lacking in education.
So the same Mikel you have been praising on here is "not your desire", just "reality" whilst the mumu TD that gave him a 5 year contract is doing a stellar job?
There's no need to be vile. Perhaps I could have expressed myself better.
By "Desire" I was referring to your desire to have a DMF for the sake of it.

If you want to make an argument now based on my statement "for the sake of it", then you are welcome.

------------------------------------------------

The reason I say for the sake of it is that, it is all well and good making a case on the premise of "wanting something better than what we have" but where exactly do you stop? I'll have Vidic over Cahill. Ramos over Ivanovic. Alonso over Ramires. Iniesta over Mata, Messi over Lamaprd, Ronaldo over Hazard, Falcao over Ba and Cavani over Torres. Exactly where do you draw the line? You will always find a better player in every position if you "desire" . . .

However, you and I know this is far from being "practical". Being "practical" is the "reality" I referred to. I am yet to be convinced that apart from your distaste for Mikel's style of play, that there is a pressing need to replace him. There can be a technical argument in wanting something better, it doesn't paint a true picture of the reality of things.

Mikel, if deployed correctly, is fine at want he does and there's no need to replace him. There is a reason why every manager since Mourinho has picked Mikel.

Regarding his contract

You are making an assumption that Emenalo has an overwhelming majority decision on who does and who doesn't get a contract. You either know the inside more than everyone else or you are guessing. Mate this is the UK. Can you go insinuate to your boss at work not to give a subordinate an extension in contract on the back of having a hunch that his birth certificate is fraudulent? What if word gets back to Mikel through the back door that Emenalo insinuated such? This is what you are asking Emenalo to do, on the assumption that

1. Emenalo has that much influence on who get what
2. Emenalo has a lot of influence who on who stays and who goes.

For all we know, maybe only 30% of his technical ideas are implemented by the board and Roman decides on everything else according to how he's done it on his Football Manager. Mate give it a rest.

On the who wants Mikel?

A few words, who wants Carrick? Who wants Fletcher? Who wants Zabaleta? The fact that rumours are floating around that United could give Lampard a contract does not mean that if Chelsea releases Mikel today, nobody will find a need for him. Not many players for big teams are desired while they are there. For Pete's sake, who wanted Kalou and Bosingwa? They've found a place. Just like no one wanted Brown and O Shea until United allowed them to join Sunderland.

This is no stick to beat Mikel with.

Regarding this, which you have said a few times before.

Even his own manager Benitez dont want him no more, preferring centrebacks and Spanish rookies.
There's no need to peddle false info. Mikel was banned for 3 games following the Clattenburg issue. It took immediate effect from Dec 6th.
He missed the Sunderland, Leeds and Aston Villa games from suspension. He came back for the Norwich game and I if I remember was subbed because he had injury.
Since Norwich, we've only played 3 games.

Addressing your first post.

When you refer to this not being X-Box or PS it actually refers to YOU. Many fans are not able to make a distinction between what they want for the team and what is practical. Ryan Bertrand and Cesar Azpilicueta each just signed 5 year contracts. So you think they are not good enough but what are you going to do with them? Unless there is overwhelming interest in them, you cannot sell them.

The other way out is to buy one more LB, RB and then send them both on loan. That means they join the list of players who continue to remain on the pay-roll of the club and not playing Essien, Benayoun, Lukaku, Courtouis, Davilla,, Kalas, Ferriera, to name a few. Financially, this is crippling. Unless you are ManCity, you cannot run a club like this. FFP is real. And though some on here don't like to hear this, it's the primary reason the club are getting rid of the high earners. Technically, it's never as easy as just moving a player because you "desire" to see someone else. So yes this is not fantasy football or FM where you change a player on a whim.

Also, Ashley is still here as at this moment and only when he leaves can we sign another LB. Which is in the summer, not now. Regarding their performances, Bertrand is no Ashley Cole and I have always rated Patrick Van Aanholt better. However, I have not seen the terrible performances you refer to. Ryan does a job.

For me, Cesar is a very very decent RB. This issues you raised are things that can be phased out from his game with time. He's only 23 and in his first season.

So, at the moment, I reiterate a LB or RB is not going to happen.

Ibime: Someone who is always wrong every season sees a problem in the way sane individuals see the game.

Has Ramires not disgraced himself enough in midfield?

Is Lampard not leaving soon?

Is Mikel not a basket? If Mikel was not a footballer, I believe he would be a MOPOL because all he does is "escort" players. FFS, he is the reason we are not in the Champions league, the way he was escorting Marchisio even when we were leading 2-0 and directly and solely responsible for the equaliser which knocked us out.

I usually take longer to form judgement but at this stage, Luiz is doing too many things wrong that normal central midfielders wouldn't do.

Now that Emenalo has bought a striker, priority is defensive midfielder.

Benat is the only player I would take there to replace Lampard + 2 solid DMs to replace Mikel and Ramires. There is no rationale for Taison and Isco whilst Oscar cannot get a game.

Oscar no fit start, yet some boys dey wait for Taison.

You wonder why these guys lose the main arguments every season when their footie knowledge or outlook is so poor. I already know Nateevs never played any serious football, and from his postings, I can easily deduce he is one of those 5 ft 7 inch guys who weigh 65kg like my guy Sean who hang on the wing doing silly infuriating flicks and losing the ball while the real warriors get busy in the middle of the action. cheesy
Sharap! You don start again. Which one concern me with Taison? Dude I don't even know.
Neither did I ask for Isco. If you ask me, Benat is the guy I will take.

I made my pick from reality not just desire. Mikel just signed a 5 year contract, he isn't going anywhere.
Neither is Ramires. If anyone leaves, it's likely to be Romeu. So you are not having 2 DMFs.

Mate, stop this. Mikel made one mistake but we went to Turin and allowed ourselves to be beaten 3-0 when all we had to do was draw.
If we drew that game, we finish 11 points. Juve finish 10 and Sharktar 10 assuming all other results stay the same.
How do you blame one person for not qualifying when we had 5 games to play after the supposed 2-2 draw?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by nateevs(m):
Taison Chelsea - Matalist Kharkiv (Europa tied)
isco - malaga (Malaga is broke)
Benat - Real Beatis

^^ All have been linked to chelsea, but the issue here, is that they are all midfielders. And we all know quite well, that the midfield department is crowded (current players in the first team, those on loan and in the academy)

I guess enemalo and his aides have lost it (burning hunger for flare players).

No link to a RB, LB, DMF, or another CF.

Maybe and just maybe (we hope so), they are secretly working on necessary (not fantasy) deals that will get CFC rocking and their fans giggling.

Cheers mate !!!
Whilst there is a pressing need to beef up the number of attackers (City and United each have 4), there's no need for a LB and RB and no pressing need for DMF.

We have 3 RBs - Cesar, Ivanovic and Ferriera.
We have 2 LBs - Cole and Bertrand.

The DMF issue is one that creates a lot of debate on here. The debate stems from the way individuals see the game. I believe that in Mikel, Ramires, Lampard and Luiz, we have a combination of DMFs that can win games.

I don't know about the Taison fella but in the links with Isco and Benat, I see potential.

-----------------------------------------

Emenalo is only interpreting what Roman has desired for a long time. Barca-esque style of play. Let's cut the guy some slack.
The only problem I have is that with Wallace joining in the summer and perhaps Piazon joining the first team proper, we are turning into a side of foreigners. Especially Brazilians.
The only home-grown players we are likely to have here next year are Chalobah and Josh both who are still not ready. This is going to create a massive problem in the future.
See this maalu! When Torres was scoring despite the team not playing to Torres's 'strengths' it was because he had regained his confidence. The goals have dried up you have gone back to the same old excuse. Pathetic

You have a proven record of shifting sides on issues at the drop of a dime. You would not have said $hit on Ba
Ba at his peak could not shine Torres's boots at his peak!! Torres was a good footballer and a good striker. Torres has been a flop at Chelsea but comparing their achievements overall you would be suffering from river blindness to do that

Hahahaha in your desperate bid to win an argument you keep sinking deeper into the morass. Not even the hardest Torres hater would question Torres's first touch, control, technique and ability. How would he have made the Spanish Natl team with even an average first touch. Ba to Torres?? If Ba was always better than Torres like you claimed why is he just joining his first big club at almost 28? Is this nigga serious sef. You mean the same Torres that onc
e finished as the 3rd best player on the planet. Why is everyone on Torres's case? Isn't it because yall expected so much better
Ohh my goodness what a simpleton! Are u ret@rded or sumn? You sat on the fence on Ba and you have switched sides since! Should Torres get back to scoring I won't be suprised to see you jocking him again. Na ur way
Flip on flipper
If Ba doesn't play on the flanks where would he play? Goalkeeper? Defender? Central midfield? I even mentioned Torres abi who is Ba in direct competition with for a position on the team

Anyone with an IQ higher than zero can read my post and deduce whose side of the debate I was on before the game. You on the other hand went from may the better striker start to Demba Ba has always had a higher footballing ability, technique and instinct on the back of one game. So I ask you again Who switched sides or did you just realize this on Saturday?
This has become utterly childish. My d1kc is bigger than yours argument.
You say Torres is a flop, I say No! Don't force your opinions on me. Let everyone know what side they are on.
If Torres scores, I support him. When he doesn't I try my best to analyse why not and give my point of view. If you don't accept, good luck.

Demba Ba is a Chelsea player, I support him. From inception or the back of one game, that's ur problem to resolve.
You say I switched sides and that I change my mind. I say No. You don't agree, everybody, move on!!

If it happens that I changed my mind, it's my phocking mind homie. I mean FFS, you used to support Arsenal.

Looool my point fading? This ninja must be having a laugh! I said from the get go that I don't expect you to admit that perhaps Torres has been a wasteman all along. Your eulogy on Ba is the closest to admission and I'm satisfied with that
If Torres had scored a brace yesterday you wouldn't
say $hit on Ba so stop lying through your teeth
There's nothing to admit. If you like, invent sh1t from now till tomorrow. I stand by my statements. If Chelsea had played to the strengths of Torres, he would have achieved more success. There's no way for you to know if I would not have said anything on Ba has Torres scored a brace yesterday, so you cannot prove I am lying. I don' have time for childish discussions.

Nigga hush!! On a very good day and prior to Torres's failure at Chelsea who in his right mind would have compared Ba to Torres either as a footballer or as a striker! Is this nigga raving mad?? Ba vs Torres would you have had the boldness to compare both on this forum before he joined Chelsea! The mere fact that a player like Ba who can't even be ranked among the top 20 strikers in Europe is viewed as a better player/striker than Torres does that not say it all? Isn't that the point I have been trying to stress to a simple minded fella like you
I repeat. There is a difference between a good footballer and a good striker. Drogba's technique till he left Chelsea was average. I was constantly criticised on here for having the nerve to say it. It was the truth and even Ibime agreed with me. I pasted numerous times on here how many times Drogba lost the ball, pass completion rate and possession stats. however, as a striker (the dude who puts the ball in the net), he was unrivalled.

Torres was exactly the same, his touch has failed him many many times before. If you disagree go watch videos of Torres. What Torres had on his side in 2008 was that he was 23 and had amazing acceleration from rest which allowed him to recover quickly. Demba on the other hand, irrespective of his previous status, has better technique of keeping the ball in his stride. This is the difference I am making. ABILITY vs OUTPUT. Simple grammar homie.

This was my statement after Ba's signing Does it sound like someone sitting on the fence? You think everyone is a fence sitting shape shifting ninja like you. If Ba ends up a flop like Torres I would admit rather than manufacture every excuse under the sun and flippin mode like Bussa Buss
Ok. So now it's about my sitting on the fence. No longer about me switching sides. Have we dropped that now? Oh thank God.

You say Torres is a flop. I say no. Why can't everyone move on and enjoy their lives? Why must you force me to accept your point of view. Who the phuck are you? Lord of soccer? If Ba flops tomorrow and you choose to call it the way you want, then good luck to you. If I choose to flip flop like Busta bust, then that's my opinion.

Look at this spin doctor!! Unlike you I was not sitting on the fence saying may the better striker get the spot!! My stand was clear from day 1. So kill that foolishness
Phocking shameless ninjah. Your stance was clear about what Ba will turn out to be if played on the wings. Very different about your stance on Ba if/when played in the centre which is the bone of contention. No, you did not give an opinion on Ba's potential success in the lone role so stop the lying. If anything, just like me you were sitting on the fence and there's nothing to justify you weren't. In fact, you asked me what if Ba ends up worse than Torres? Was that another stance?

You just dey box yourself inside corner. "Demba will outscore Torres" was not the argument simp
So what is? You said you made a stance.

Sharrap you shape-shifter!! Had Torres started and scored a brace yesterday would you have typed what you typed yesterday?
Hehehehe. Your initial point is fading even more and more. I am surprised you haven't mentioned it in your last 3 posts. "CONFESSION". Now you've moved on to "MOTIVE". I will indulge you once more. If Torres had scored a brace yesterday, I would have said the exact same thing.

I don't know if it's your inability to see being a good footballer and being a good striker as two different things or you are just being deliberately stooopid. I have defended Torres endlessly on this forum, I have never called Torres a tremendous footballer. Two different arguments. ABILITY vs OUTPUT.

Speculation?? Lol what a shameless shape-shifting nigga!! How can it count as speculation after you have actually seen Demba Ba perform
in Chelsea colors. Had you said this prior to the games maybe you would have had more credibility. So what happens if Demba Ba winds up worse than Torres what would you wind up saying?
It's one game. Just one game against a very weak side and has no single bearing on what may or may not be. That's why I am allowed to speculate. You think I am stupid enough to go out on a limb and say Demba WILL DEFINITELY become the better striker when I have said all along that we don't create enough chances? No. That's why I said, may the better striker hold the spot and even after a game, I am still speculating. All very consistent. However, you are looking for an argument when there isn't one.
Desire to come up tops?? Lmao! Most of us where (WERE) convinced of Ba's ability prior to coming to Chelsea. You on the other hand sat on the fence
In one sentence, you were convinced about Ba's ability before coming to Chelsea. In another you are asking what if he turns out worse than Torres? Yet in the same vein, trying to score points by claiming that I sat on the fence even when you are sitting on the fence just in case it goes sour.

It's been a week since the Demba link, you didn't claim Demba will out-score Torres. No one said anything before the game. He scored 2 goals and now you claim you have been convinced about his abilities. If he didn't score 2 goals yesterday, would you have said the same? So what if he turns out worse than Torres? What abilities would you have been convinced about? Does this sound familiar?
Hehehe we don't believe you you need more people!
Lol who dey fantasize?? Hehehehe you went from may the 'better striker' win to Demba Ba has higher footballing ability and technique than Torres! In 24 hours! My question was has it been so from the get go? Or did that come to pass during Torres's stay at Chelsea. I also asked if you where to pick between Ba and Torres as at January 2011 who would you pick you didn't kuku answer
You didn't start purring about Ba till yesterday after he scored so no right thinking nucca should take your analysis serious. Emphasis on @nal
Ah! Suddenly time has shown up for you from nowhere. grin grin grin

Lemme indulge your dull arse once more. May the better striker hold the spot. . . i.e. The guy who succeeds putting the ball more times in the back of the net. Shikena.

The second point was PURE SPECULATION. Talk about technique and footballing ability is how I perceive either footballer's chances of succeeding in the role when weighed against the way Chelsea plays. For as many times as I SPECULATED, I used the phrase "IS LIKELY TO". Bottom line, SPECULATION.

But you have an insatiable desire to come up tops on this one, you cannot decipher the meaning of speculation. In your fantasy world, you seem to believe this is me saying Demba is better than Torres or as you put it "NATEEVS SWITCHING SIDES". How you come to this conclusion beats my imagination.

----------------------------------------------------------------

To answer your question,

Would I have picked Ba AS A STRIKER - the guy who puts the ball in the back of the net more often - over Torres in 2011?. . . NO!
Would I have picked Ba as a better footballer than Torres as at Jan 2011?. . .. YES!

How simple is this?

Lololol

Ninja was sitting on the fence from the get go. A Ba brace and Nateevs is purring endlessly after 1 game. Shape-shifting at its peak
Homie your desperation to be right is now clouding your ability to understand simple statements. The better striker irrespective of who joggles the ball better is the guy who puts the ball in the back of the net. I cannot understand how you cannot see that differently from me speculating that because of Demba's ability and better control, he is likely to fit into the Chelsea better than Torres has done. Why? Because Chelsea as yet, don't play to Torres' strengths.

It beats my imagination that you cannot see straight away that it is not an admission of who is a better striker. I'm shocked at how you cannot understand that the premise of my post is about Demba's "POTENTIAL SUCCESS IN A CHELSEA SHIRT". Pure speculation, founded by what I see in his ability and of course, his recent form. You are running around like a headless chicken trying to cook up ideas.

You've gone from me confessing, to implicitly confessing, to me not admitting Torres is a dud, to me being silly thinking Torres can score 25 goals, now to me switching sides even when I just stated that Torres "CAN STILL" score 25 goals. I have to make all this explanation because you either missed or didn't understand the use of the phrase "DEMBA's LIKELY TO". Everything I wrote about Ba, I carefully dropped the phrase, He is likely to.

I understand that you have to win, hence your desperation. However, unless you can find me a piece where I confirmed the DEMBA WILL DEFINITELY SUCCEED WHERE TORRES HAS NOT, I suggest you should back off and quit inventing stuff.

Strikers can adapt!!! Did you see Falcao in his early days at Porto? All he did was knock in tap-ins! These days he even scores free-kicks! Torres does not even possess the attributes that helped him in the past at least not on a consistent basis. Acceleration gone, strength gone, first touch gone, decision making gone! Torres has no strengths to play to
Torres has got no strengths to play to right? Okay. I hear you. I will not continue to argue mate. Like I said in the past, you know my position and I know yours. I will not accept yours and I won't force mine on you.

Is this guy serious?? Are you comparing Ba to Torres in the tekkers department? Even putting him in the same bracket with Berbatov? Haha mogbe! Lemme even give you an escape route. Are you saying Ba always had the superior footballing ability and technique
Demba Ba has a higher ability to wiggle out of tight spaces?? Since when? Hehehe orishirishi
Then that means you and I are imagining different things. Maybe you should go back and watch a few videos of his. You are either one of those who underrate those who play for small teams or you never really watch Demba before now. Plus there's no need for an escape route as what I am saying is pretty clear. Inherent technique and footballing ability. I have maintained this. However, you are fun of inventing things.

Are you saying this because Ba scored twice today? Did you say this when Torres was on a mini run? What happened to the confidence and other megedefegede you where chatting
And by the way Ba is not the classic poacher/fox in the box
The difference between Ba and Torres is not far-fetched one has improved the other has regressed!
No mate. I watched Ba closely at WestHam and at Newcastle. Ba stopped scoring 2nd half of last season because Cisse arrived and Ba played on the wings. This season, Cisse stopped scoring because Ba returned to the centre and Cisse to the wings. I have been watching them both and I can tell you a lot about them. Cos Ba came to Chelsea does not mean some have not been monitoring him.

25 goals! This present Torres? Aww stop it man you are killing me
Lol Ba has not played two games and you have switched sides already! I kinda hope Ba goes on a dry run I wonder what you would say then
Hehehehe. Siddon there dey look. Torres has scored 14 goals this season already. 11 more to 25. Dey there dey talk.
As to your second point, I just laugh. The same guy who accuses me of being a Torres lover is the same guy accusing me of switching sides to Ba after two goals. grin grin

How can you come out and even claim such? prior to Torres stinking up the joint since getting to Chelsea would you have compared him to Ba on any scale??
I'm saying for the mere fact that a Demba Ba can even be mentioned in the same breath shows how far Torres's stock has fallen. And you say you are not implicitly confessing Torres has been a dud! So what are you now saying?
Maybe I need to explain to you. Every striker has their style in front goal. Its been overstated even on these threads. Torres plays in between the lines and relies heavily on quick breaks and through passes to be effective. Chelsea don't play the way Torres needs to score. Chelsea have very slow build up which means that more often than not opposition teams will sit back and soak up pressure. Unfortunately, Torres does not have the inherent footballing ability and technique on the level on Berbatov or Demba to wiggle out of tight spaces.

Demba possesses brilliant tecnique And as Chelsea still build up slowly and allow opposition to sit back, it is likely to suit Demba more. This is why you will find Demba inside the box most times - poacher style and Torres outside of it. Torres tries to find space for himself but we don't play to his strengths.

For the reason of our style of play, is why I concede that Demba is likely to score more goals than Torres. I stand by my comments and will never depart from it. Torres is at the very least a 25 goals-a-season striker if employed effectively. Therefore, this not an admittance that Torres is a dud. Far from it mate. This is an admittance of the individual's inherent footballing ability and how it may enhance or impede their chances in a Chelsea shirt. Simple.

lalaboi: I would but when ppl say stuff like UTD create more chances for their strikers is just annoying. . You see the Giggz ball? They will call that a chance created in UTD, but similar things happen in Chelsea but they say its not a chance or call it a difficult chance. . just to prove their points. . .
It's annoys you because you don't want to accept it. United create more chances for their strikers than most PL teams - certainly way more than Chelsea do. Nobody is inventing anything. The stats are there on the world wide web for you to verify and build a logical argument. If you think I am wrong, find stats that back up your point.
Hehehehe admitting Ba is better than Torres is probably as much confession of Torres's dudship as we can possibly get from you. Its a step in the right direction
Mate, it didn't take Demba coming to Chelsea for anyone to know he's outscored Torres inside 3 seasons.
It also does not take Demba coming to Chelsea to know that Demba's touch and movement with the ball is better than Torres'.
Just like Berbatov's all-round technique is better than Torres'.

These facts are in public domain and as such there's nothing to "admit" or "confess".
Therefore I am still confused about the confession.
Ok lemme get this straight. You still insist Torres is not a dud and the team is not doing enough or playing to Torres's 'strength's' or that his confidence has gone AWOL again??
There's nothing to get straight. You claim I am confessing. I ask how and you are asking more questions. How am I confessing?

bennyraz: yea..torres should be converted to a goalie or a defender to justify as earnings.. But just like roman would say "It's my money" he can decide to do anything to torres now afterall "Na hin Money"
Another one of these "na im money" fans.

It's not going to happen. Torres was bought for £50m and earns over £150,000 a week. You think Roman and the board will allow any manager to justify earning that much and doing nothing? Unless there's been a consensus to move Torres on, Demba will play some games and Torres will play some games.

Ibime: Drift any drift you want. Torres isnt up to standard just like Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry and Eusebio ain't up to standard! Who cares what standard they were 5 years ago or 50 years ago?
Now you are hiding.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by nateevs(m): 6:12pm On Jan 05, 2013
Ibime: If the difference between Demba Ba and Torres is winning matches, then it doesn't take a genius to work out Torres isnt up to standard. . . unless the standard is losing too frequently and rendering Chelsea toothless
As you, Ibime, have at one time in history endorsed Torres as the best striker in the premier league, it is out of place to state that his all round play and finishing isn't up to standard. If you say Torres has declined in form and his output isn't up to the standard required, then you make a different argument.

With regards to the standards of ability, what you are referring to right now and have done so frequently this season is criticise his inherent footballing ability. If you have endorsed him before, then this is either a dent on your judgement of footballing ability or you are just knocking Torres.

I hope you catch my drift.

Ibime: What did Torres want? 10 chances.

Emotional guys go soon start to confess their emotions. So far we've heard Ba is a better player and better finisher. So why were emotional guys defending Torres all this time if his allround play and finishing isnt up to the standard required. . . one answer. . . EMOTIONS!
Hehehe. "His all round play and finishing isn't up to the standard required" . . . The same Torres you were milking over in 2008 when you categorically stated he was better than Drogba. Where did he get the finishing and all round play then? grin grin

I said Demba's all round play is better than Torres. Just like Berbatov's all round play is better than Torres'. I never said, Torres' all round play isn't up to standard. Na you dey add that one.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by nateevs(m): 5:58pm On Jan 05, 2013
lalaboi: You say it like UTD really do create more chances on the plate for strikers. . . A vanpersie dribble and shot (X6), a rooney shot (4), a gazillion crosses by evra, rafeal, nani, Valencia etc. . and you call that chance. .
A chance is putting your striker in a position where they can score a goal. So if your striker in a position, can dribble and score a goal, a pass to him in that position is A CHANCE. If he cannot dribble out of a tight position, you probably wouldn't pass to him. The same goes for shooting. If your striker has a good shot on him from range, you pass the ball to him that position, yes it is a chance.

Fixed for you. Just in case you missed some words.

Disappointing? That I wish my team can create as many chances as United does?

Why do you think Ba would score more goals if given the same chances and minutes Torres was given playing in front of the same selfish midfield that doesnt create chances?
Simple. Demba Ba is an all-round better footballer than Torres is. Also, he has a better instinct for goals than Torres does.
And I never said the midfield does not create chances, I said they create only few chances.

So far, we've created only 3 chances for Ba. United would have created about 10.
