Torres scores . . . Ope o. |
Torres will not take it? Romeu to take it. 4-0. Nawa o. Torres is hiding. |
Penalty |
Mata 3-0 |
Goal Bertrand. |
I think one of Oscar, Hazard and Mata will play. Judging from the last few games, RDM doess not seem like one who gambles. He will like to maintain some sort of balance. |
mufasa: Yeah Piazon looked sharp during preseason. I thought DS was injured as I haven't seen him in a while.Malouda was not included in the squad list for foreign players. The suggestion is that he was told he was surplus to requirements but he didn't find another club. Young players coming through in attack, Lucas Piazon, Patrick Bamford, Islam Feruz. |
FBS: Will Cech also get a rest..not that I fancy that boy from Middlesbrough abi where them buy am from sef? Maybe even a younger face uh?Piazon did himself a lot of good in the pre-season but we all must know that before pre-season, I have never seen Piazon play as a striker. I do not know what the club's vision is for the lad but largely he was playing on the left of a 4-3-3, same position he played in the U17 championship with Brazil. If there is a chance he could become a striker, he could be good as his balance on the ball and hold up play is very good. He is good with both feet and isn't shy in front of goal. He may need to work on his aerial play though. I will love to see him play. Patrick Bamford is another choice but he's playing with the U21s. Is it too early to begin giving Feruz chances in carling cup games? |
El Guapo: [color=#0066ff]But On the Contrary, he looks dangerous when brought in -- Could bet on him Scoring if startedNot even Falcao and RVP are guaranteed goals when they play but I get your point. |
FBS: So if Torres starts and gets tired playing every game even before the season is well under way, who will take his place?Sturridge. It doesn't look though that RDM fancies him. |
Ibime: Count your money? Are you a stripper? Or did you just break open your piggy bank? I will tell the cashiers at Natwest to beware a large consignment of 2p coins coming their way tomorrow. Please don't hold up the queue.Meanwhile, I saw the funny side of this. You dey craze. . . ![]() |
Ibime: Hehehe. I'm not in the business of reading minds where someone describe a blunt attacking performance as fluid then expect me to interprete it as average despite only praising the performance.Hehehehe. You are not in the business of reading minds but you already knew that if Ashley Cole didn't score against Stoke, I would have been here criticising RDM for not being able to manage attacking players. You put fantastic in quotes about 3 times and suddenly you are trying absolve yourself of the display of extreme stoopidity. You descend in interchangeable words and now, mind-reading. This is the only line in my post that in anyway describes the performance. However, it was clear for us to see how fluid we were in attack. Not just that but the fact that it was very possible to line up in that way if the key piece of the line up is sorted.. Bearing in mind this was against a resolute Stoke side. This means "the performance was fantastic" doesn't it? Not fair, good, very good but fantastic? SMH. You even tried to interpret my use of "Brilliant lineup" as an expression of "fantastic performance" . . You called the two phrases interchangeable. fan·tas·tic/fanˈtastik/ Adjective: Of extraordinary size or degree. Ibime, book in an appointment with your GP. |
Ibime: Brilliant line up, fluid in attack. Praising the performance right? So because it doesn't explicitly define an average performance, it means it is fantastic right? You mentioned fantastic three times over your last 2 posts and in quotes, as though I used the word or try to label the performance fantastic in any way, shape or form and now you are talking about interchangeable words? Amadioha faya your eyeball. If you don't have work to do, come and help me count my money. |
Peops are still arguing about Torres. Everyone trying to prove their point is right.I decided to quote my post you were responding to. Can you point out to me what part of the post I have used the word fantastic or any part of the post that remotely describes the performance as "fantastic" ? You see why I referred to your response as rubbish? You will lie through your teeth to prove a point. Go and seek help. |
Ibime: Hmmmm. I was waiting for troglodytes to put their spin on what we saw yesterday. Note that the man with pace was the last man whilst mikel was lost in the cm position and even had less legs to get back plus was not effective going forward. So if the last man was Ramirez, what was Mikels role in the team? The man with pace should always be last man because he's the one who makes the last ditch challenge but suddenly some haters wanna spin it so that Ramirez should take mikel position whilst mikel take lampard position which is what we saw yesterday. . And guess what mikel was even less able to get back than lamps in that position. That a faster dm makes us less susceptible to counterattacks is not rocket science. But that man is here to take Mikels spot. And in the long term that man is not RamirezWhat's the story about? What's he talking about? There's no single truth in all he said. Just a load of garbage. |
Sh1t. Ham's out. |
Peops are still arguing about Torres. Everyone trying to prove their point is right. It's nice to see that opposition fans having an opinion on the sheer amount of chances we create in the final third. Everyone else with an agenda refuse to comment on this point; citing all other presumption reasons whilst ignoring the facts. Hopefully we will get a stable 11 that plays consistently in their positions and create understanding which scores goals. ---------------------------------------------------------------- On the game. Brilliant line up by RDM using for the first time, all the creative players in attack. A scenario internet tacticians constantly tell us isn't possible. Only a few hours ago we were talking rubbish, arguing with Ritchie and that there needs to be balance with Ramires and Bertrand. However, it was clear for us to see how fluid we were in attack. Not just that but the fact that it was very possible to line up in that way if the key piece of the line up is sorted. The key piece of the line up is the double pivot. Ramires sitting in there provided energy to win balls back. He lost possession a few times but we were solid and there was less of geezers bombing forward to get a goal leaving space behind for a counter. I really hope RDM sustains the guts it took to do that. |
Ibime: Mumu who justified all AVB's idiotic tactical decisions wants to preach to us that RDM who got it right may not have what it takes tactically. Like I said, who the gods want to kill, they first make mad.I can post, criticise, support, hate and do whatever I want whenever I want hommie. I don't need your blessing to do that. If bootlicking phat phools like you can paste shit like this below and we still allow you talk here, anyone can affiliate with anything and change their minds later. If I like I can support AVB, I can support or not support RDM as I choose fit. . . I changed my mind Lemme spell it out: Drogba's touch is not up to league 2 level! I have said it before and Ill say it again, Drogba without stamina is as useless as John Carew.Remember the famous "Torres is better than Drogba" quotes from 2008? Yeah I know you changed your mind. Who the phuck are you to assess who I support and when? |
Ibime: What makes a good manager is whether your players respect you and how well you handle the media plus do you have common sense. In all these rdm has done well.Oya let's go hire Harry Redknapp. Onisokuso odaran. ![]() By the way what's this about David moyes? Hmmmm I challenge you to pull that quote although I'm not denying it. I may be suffering from dementia. Anyway since these nincompoops missed the analogy, it wasn't about David moyes. Chelsea were the Everton of the champions league and rdm miraculously brought the ol big ears home.See him post all over the place. Throwing disclaimers in, just in case he spewed bollocks in the past. Avram grant - lost league cup final to a juande Ramos spurs team. Avram grant did not change anything from mourinho tactically or personnel wise. In other words avram grant coulda been a robot inputting a formula whilst Rdm changed everything avb was doing both tactically and personell showing his own knowledge. Avram grant did not beat anyone to reach UCL final, dispatching olympiakos, fernebahce and Liverpool on the way there. Rdm performed miracles against napoli and barca to get to the final. So penalty kick or not, such comparison is ridiculous.Stoopid analysis. You are comparing a situation of a succession of arguably Chelsea's most successful manager to a succession of perhaps Chelsea's least successful? How do you sleep at night? How could Avram Grant change what JM laid down? Do you think RDM would change the Chelsea left behind by JM? If anything, after AVB left, RDM returned Chelsea to the default, JM's Chelsea. JEeeez! I wonder why I bother. Dudes like you in 2008 were telling us Mark Hughes was best for Chelsea. |
dayokanu: We can go with the game of IF's and "Had it beens" till tomorrow. In most cases the difference between genius and stoopidity isnt muchYou keep missing the point. The difference between tactical ingenuity and ordinariness is a factor within ones control. You are claiming that RDM is better than Avram Grant by virtue of what they have won when the difference between them both is a slip at the wrong time - a factor which was totally out of either one's control. If there is any attribution of tactical ingenuity, then it ended the moment PK started. Just like in 2008 as well. For that reason, I can safely conclude the Avram Grant is just as good as RDM and what does that tell us? |
Ibime: Make una leave matter abeg. I know nateevs hatred even if he borrow leaf from the man who invented grammar to convince us that is not the case. Haterism would always show itself before ninjas issue disclaimers. If David moyes win epl some people will still tell us it's luckComing from the same dude who has spent eternity telling us that David Moyes is a crap manager. You want me to fetch your posts? Ibime: He warned them boys sternly after athletico game that he will do what he needs to to protect himself and next game he replaced them with Ramirez and Bertrand. He replaced them boys with Ramires and Bertrand against QPR? Same QPR Swansea beat 5-0? The excuses are unending. . Your words can only hold sway if the pragmatism you are defending was against a better footballing side. Against QPR, it is evident boot licking. QPR did not sit down their best attacking players because Chelsea is in town and we do just that for them? Are you listening to yourself? As for the hatred gist, you will continue to drum your rhythm of manufactured hate I have for RDM. Say it enough times and people might just believe it. I challenge you to find posts of mine that show unreserved hate for RDM. Find them. Not all this megede fegede you are spewing. |
coogar: grant was terry's slip away from winning the champions league - unless you can prove it was grant's tactical approach that made terry slip, he is as good as rdm if not better. he ran united close in the premier league(title was decided on the last day) and he also played extra time in the final......miles better than finishing 6th, living off the back of avb that qualified chelsea from the group stage and losing intentionally in the premier league and still getting outplayed in munich! In addendum to what you have said, Dayo is creating a scenario with the Avram Grant that defeats his own logic. If Drogba had slipped and we lost the CL, would that have been the difference between RDM's tactical genius and stoopidity. |
dayokanu: What did Avram Grant win to be called a Genius? Can you enlighten me Maybe i didnt watch TV on the day Avram Grant wonOk. Great then. Since that is the case, I presume you can understand why I lean on the side of "yet to be convinced" with respect to RDM's achievement. Just like you pointed out the reasons why some believe those elite managers are not as good as they are thought to be, I reserve the right to believe that camping 11 players in your half, whilst still conceding 90 shots at goal over the 3 final games is by no means a measure of tactical ingenuity and only something more positive, inventive and attacking can actually propel him to the realm of the elite. The point will remain the same until RDM wins something else. |
dayokanu: Jose Mourinho polarises pundits till now many ppl believe he is a great coach and many believe he is an opportunist who spends fortune to winSo what's the objective of this post? That I can go ahead and call Avram Grant a genius since some people think other things about JM? I do not understand the premise of your response. |
dayokanu: Dont you think a coach who won the CL a tropy that eluded Jose Mourinho, Claudio Ranieri, Avram Grant, Guus Hindick, Felipe Scolari Carlo Ancelotti at the same Chelsea. This is where you miss the point. Your trolling gets in the way of rational analysis. Who says RDM should not be celebrated? Who says RDM should not have hero and legend status? Does that then mean he is as astute as Jose Muorinho, Claudio Ranieri or Gus Hiddink? Can you confidently say that? To put things in perspective, Avram Grant was one penalty kick away from winning the UCL. What would you have thought about Avram Grant had he done so? Hero? Tactical Genius? ----------------------------------------------- The Avram Grant scenario is exactly what I am trying to point out. That the circumstances under RDM won the CL polarizes the views of pundits still. For that reason, he will need to go beyond this and win something in exquisite style for him to considered a great. Until then, the jury is still out and everything he does will be under scrutiny from a technical standpoint, hero status aside. How difficult is it to understand this? |
Ibime: Leave haters abeg. Out of pure hatred a loser start criticising rdm immediately after UCL final, criticise him in the first preseason friendly and every week since. Then ask rdm to grow some balls and drop his most hated player of all time.Dude. Your attempt at attaining cheap fame is highly commended. Find us one post of mine that clearly shows that I hate RDM. If you cannot find one, shut the phuck up and desist from spewing lies. This will clearly miss your fat eyes. For the record, I have never said RDM is a bad manager. The worst I have gone is that, he has been lucky and he needs to find more than luck if he wants to succeed more. Also I have mentioned time and again that the jury is still out. However you cannot deal with criticism. To criticise your loved ones is a demonstration of hatred.. I will post it again and again until it fries your brain. You won't see the fat bootlicker quoting my post that resemble this nateevs: Using Oscar's hustling abilities was a brilliant tactical move by RDM.Dudes will go on a futile campaign in a desperate attempt to type. How can I hate RDM when I clearly typed the above? -------------------------------------------------------------- I don't have time for numpties who are clearly orchestrating a way out for RDM in every single scenario. Something you accused me of doing when AVB was here and still do till date. We love our manager and we understand the constraints he works under. RDM is right as rain, doing his thing cool-headedly and managing an extremely unbalanced squad that Emenalo created.Last week - can't find the quote - he told us RDM does want to drop Torres because he wants to prove that he is useless to Emenalo. ------------------------------------------------- I do not need to campaign for Torres to be dropped. RDM is manager. If he has the balls, he should drop Torres. I don't hold any allegiance to any player. I just want to do well. If it means selling Torres, who gives a phuck? I bloody do not care. Players comes and go, Chelsea remains! That's been my principle. You think I love Torres beyond criticism? |
You are going to burst your heart over your keyboard dude. By showing balls, RDM has to drop a 34 year old. I am sorry you don't like it. No top team in the PL plays with a 34 year old for 90mins in every single game. Should he replace with Luiz, I don't know. It's an option. Would it work? I have no phucking idea. None of us knew Mikel could ever play as a DM. And how does one sell that to the players in training? "Hey Lamps and Mikel, this monday morning, we are going to be working on Luiz in central midfield cos you guys are too slow. And sorry Romeu, I know you've been waiting for your turn but you are too slow as well. Oh and Ramires, you cant pass the ball, so this morning, I am going to rip up the script and work on playing Luiz in midfield."You are more stoopid than I thought. In short you are telling us that RDM has not the balls to tell his players what options there could be for fear of the fact that it doesn't sound right? What exactly is your argument? Eeediot. . How did he sell it to players in training that Ramires needs to play on the right? How did he sell it in training that in-experienced Bertrand will play ahead of Malouda in the UCL final? I hope you know that in Brazil's last game, Menezes played Ramires in CM. You obviously know more and that's why you are a manager with a 6 figure salary. How does Menezes manage it and RDM can't? For the record, I have never said RDM is a bad manager. The worst I have gone is that, he has been lucky and he needs to find more than luck if he wants to succeed more. Also I have mentioned time and again that the jury is still out. However, your stick gets strong at the mention of your favourites who can do all wrong without any manner of criticism. Do I give a toss? You bet I don't. If you like, you can burst an artery you fat shameless bootlicker. ![]() |
The revisionists are in the building. "RDM being a manager who doesn't give anything away" on the back of half a season's success - the nature of which still polarizes the views of many fans and pundits. Dudes are already tagging it "undisputed tactical achievement" Like a fellow Chelsea fan says, RDM is holding back on showing some balls because now he has a job to lose as opposed to when he had one to win. --------------------------------------------------- The excitement we are getting from the likes of Hazard and Oscar should not take away the fact that our last 3 games have been 1 loss and 2 draws. It's very easy to slip into period of poor results. |
dayokanu: How about backing your own arguments with FACTS.What do you want me to blame Torres for? |
Ibime: The boy Oscar really locked down pirlo. Outhustled him and rendered him less of a factor. Apart from the goals his work ethic was encouraging. Always like attacking midfielders that hustle. Hazard is hustling small small as well but Mata needs to stop acting scaredUsing Oscar's hustling abilities was a brilliant tactical move by RDM. Also the whole team was trying to press up the pitch and win balls. I don't have the stats but I think the match must have one of the highest number of collective interceptions There are a lot of positives to take from the game. The negatives, Ramires and still no Moses, Marin or Sturridge start. |
How you guys have the patience to argue with Dayo beats my imagination. |
