Sh!t . . this guy is phucking good! |
Savvvvveeeddd |
OMG! These dudes have been robbed. . .yet again. |
debosky: ^^ His playing style?Sharap! ![]() |
BlueDiva: ''It is a victory with such a devastating cost that it carries the implication that another such attempt at victory will ultimately lead to defeat''Slowly, folks are coming around to the point I made in May. It almost became a situation where any criticism made gets frowned at and shut down with pointing fingers at a UCL trophy. The truth is the euphoria only lasts a minute. This is football and almost very soon, the stage is reset, everyone starts on a clean slate and those that excel are those who dared to say it like it is. In a minute, we are reminded that the so-called heroes who could do no wrong actually have an infinite amount of frailty to sort out The jury is still out on RDM. I am yet to be convinced about his attacking setup. It's all well sitting back and launching a counter . . .Easy football. What's more difficult is formulating a method of attack. Although, we've won three games in the PL, Hazard's contribution cannot be underestimated. This method of attack - if we have any - will be put to test the very first game Hazard does not play in. --------------------------------------------------- |
So Essien to Real Madrid, Benayoun to West Ham and who else? Kakuta off as well. Heard Romeu to Malaga. . Can't confirm yet. |
Pataki: I am really really MAD at RDM for not featuring Hazard tonight.I will repeat my point till you hear me. . . ![]() Dayo-esque trolling. |
Ibime: Don't worry Papi Ortiz, that gold star will never be removed from the club badge!Classic! |
coogar: you nailed it!I am not an advocate of true wingers as well. I am only stating the weaknesses in our side. If you are playing with pseudo wingers, then in attack, you have to have full backs who are creative going forward as they remain the true provider of width. In this case, play Bertrand and Azpilicueta. If the purpose is to sit back and soak up pressure, then anyone can do and we can still attack with the likes of Hazard and Mata. I cannot for the pete's sake understand RDM's love for Ramires as a forward player. With the likes of Sturridge and Moses on the bench, Ramires should not be close to the team. |
At least, we scored one. |
coogar: double-pivot has worked for athletico - it's the strength, pace and the work ethic that have been the difference! chelsea need to inject more pace - the slow lethargic build up play is a disadvantage. As you see, when they move the ball, it's always with purpose. When they switch play, it's because they are exploiting a new channel. This sort of play is basic football teaching on the training ground. How to move off the ball, yet maintain the team shape. That's how you create chances. Small wonder we haven't created a single chance. Football has moved on from just common sense management. Strong tactical nous cannot be underestimated. ---------------------------------------------------------- One other problem we have is the disadvantage of the style of players we have. Neither of Mata or Hazard is able to create sustained natural width. They all conjure in the middle, meaning Ashley and Ivanovic, the two worst creative outlets we got, attempt crosses. 9 times out of 10, they both will never get in the box neither will they put in a decent cross against a resolute side. |
FBS: your suggestions?Deploy a sitting DM and another deep-lying play-maker with good pace recovery. Or play two similar DMs who just sit and protect the back four. They don't get too involved in the forward play. 3rd option, ditch the double pivot entirely and play a 4-3-3. |
Ramires out. Ah! Thank God. RDM must realise that a Ramires, Ivanovic right attack is absolutely inert. Also, we need to begin to move away from this Mikel, Lamps pivot rubbish. It has to be one or the other. Not both. |
dayokanu: See you in a few hours got a flight to catchDon't let the door hit you on your way out. |
dayokanu: How did Falcao reach that place to get the pass? Do you think he was shekpe keeping when the midfielder had the ball?I am sorry but you say very stooopid things time and again. Did you see the space Falcao run into? Have you seen the AM build up, when they tend to release Falcao on goal, there's never more than 4 Chelsea players in our box. Is it the same for Chelsea? Why are you acting like a troll? Must you post? Everyone here's talking about how shambolic our display has been, you are blaming Torres. |
Build up is absolutely too slow. Players like Ramires should not be near this pitch. Ivanovic? . . Jeez! Lampard? |
dayokanu: See the difference between 2 strikers.Your beer-parlour analysis is boring dude. |
Lampard was already right beside Torres as AM broke. |
dayokanu: You think Falcao got those chances by catwalking and shekpe keeping all over the field or by making intelligent runsWhat? Did he go back to his post to get the ball? |
dayokanu: The 50m triker Roman splashed on what has he done in close o 2 seasonsSo Torress is the reason we are down 2-0 right? |
Kini Ramiresi n gba gan? Ta lo yan bobo yi. |
Wow! |
I don't know what to make of Ramires. |
1-0. Man. This dude is ridiculous. |
Wow! Falcao already struck the bar. Ivanovic's position opened twice in a row. |
Those trophies look heavy. . are those replicas or the real ones? |
dyabman: Schurrle can play as CF or as a winger, will be better off at a 4-3-3 formation or 4-1-2-3 any which..It's fake. |
mithel: and i bet you can't wait to see that happenYou can just sense it. Dude's probably praying for everything to come crashing down. Roman won anyway. Haters got to live with the Chelsea phenomenon for much longer than they thought. |
Schurrle again!! I'd hate to be RDM on any given Saturday! He would be doing more balancing than a real application cluster. Moses,Malouda(yes Malouda),Hazard,Oscar,Marin,Mata battling for 2 positions more or less depending on the formation deployed. The question begs tho who is the backup for Torres? Not sure what the function of Schurrle would be with all these fellas on ground but I guess someone at CFC wants him really bad cos this has lingered all summer
Wrong analysis. Firstly, Oscar's not a winger. Secondly, Malouda's off. That makes Hazard, Marin, Moses and Sturridge for two positions. We play with with only one center forward, therefore the thinking is to buy a forward player who plays on the wing but can deputise as a striker. As you see in the links with Schurrle, Remy and Hulk. The same thinking with Sturridge and Moses. The formation played is 4-2-1-3 with Mata first for the hole, Hazard when Mata does/can't play and Oscar deputising for Mata. Simple. |
lalaboi: Kakuta to Vitesse?. . Another loan. . someone just buy this dude abegHehehe. You and Kakuta sha. Who knows? May be he goes there, totally blows up and comes back to stake a claim. Meanwhile, hope we bring our game on against Wolves. League Cup matches are tricky. We have a habit of going out early. |
A few sources reporting that Sturridge is off to Liverpool and we are signing Andre Schurrle as replacement. |
Who are these guys? Meanwhile, City's got a tough one again. . Madrid, Ajax, Dortmund. |
