See your log cancelling....datz mathematically wrong....
Yeah, I have asserted that long ago, the funny thing is the way it seems to work for other similar problems liie the example above.

Yes.
Good we are on the same page. Did you try the word problem on page 4 about the age of a woman and her husband? That's a bit trickish though I have solved it, you may want to try it too.

Check your answer again. Y is number of women ie 60 not the other way round.
Thanks. I have resolved and I got "0.65054625" as the answer. Does this tally with yours?

u r gud bro. Jst use dat expression nd u will get ur radius.
Okay, thanks. n= (44/7)r^2. p=99/100. What does the E stand for? And what will be the value so we can solve for r? Thanks.

A Construction Firm wishes to use a group of fifty professionals to execute a project. These fifty are to be selected from 110 engineers. there are Y number of women in the firm and X number of men. The number of male engineers necessary to complete the project are 10100 to base two. If the firm consists of [(50!/49!)+(5²-√{225!/224!})] women, Calculate the value of... [(X²+Y³)25]/e10]+(65/{5×√4}²).

HINT: I refer to this question as a chain of EVALUATIONS in which only those able to manipulate Complexities are able to solve.
GOOD LUCK!

bro, y equate prob to total n I.e 99/100=11r^2÷7? I think the expression E=nP comes in frm there; where n=44r^2÷7
You can take it up from there sir.I couldn't think of any other way to get the radius cheesy

If you add the age of a man to the age of his wife,
the result is 91. He is now twice as old as she was
when he was as old as she is now.
How old is the man and his wife?
The man is 52 years old and the woman is 39 years old. Find the solution attached below...

Yeah, he's very correct bro because if
(a + b) log x = log b, then
log x (a + b) = log b and
x (a + b) = b. (log 10 cancels each other)
Having said this, I thin the only logical solution to this is the graphical method. One has to draw a graph of y = 2 x and y = 4x on the same axis.
Thanks bro. I observed that the same method works for similar problems that was why I asked him to try it with 3^X = 9X

I think if there are 2 GH in 1 cm^2, then in A cm^2 there shld be 2A not A/2 grasshoppers. like
2=1
x=A
so x(1)=2A
Yeah, that will be 44/7 . Thanks. Let me edit.

This is one of d ojoros that I mentioned sir, the part where u cancelled out d log, it ought to be 2^(x-2) not 2(x-2) tks.
You may be correct sir. Let me know if you have a better solution.

this is harder than d hardest....lol
the probability of finding at least a grasshopper in a circular field is 0.99, if the expected value of grasshoppers in 2 per cm squared, determine the radius of d field. not sure if d expectation is correct... U can just state how u will do it
This is just a try, you can review the solution and answer while we wait dor maths gurus to come try it too.....

this question is a dead end, we cld not get it in secondary school unless we did ojoro
You can follow this simple method. Same can be used to solve 3^ X = 9X in which X= 3.

You sound really daft. Wow, you must be so intelligent to have scored 65.88. Did you miss the part where I mentioned I got 70+ last year? I was admitted but didn't accept the offer. Infact, i had the second highest score last year. So I have the experience and when I say this year's test was cheaper, you should know I have adequate knowledge of what i'm saying. More than four times the number of people who took the test this year did last year, so last year's competition was stiffer. Pls don't let me vent my anger on you ok? Unilag ripped many us of our deserved marks and here u are spilling balderdash. Let's assume I did poorly, what bout braine? this is someone I can attest to his intelligence.

Do people who are not sure of their performances call for their scripts? Maybe they do so in your alma-mata, definitely not mine.

Mind you, similar stuff happened last year when people with lesser aggregates were offered admission while people who scored higher were omitted. Cos of this, a female nairalander who was a victim of this fraud last year refused to put in this year despite my persuasion.

Guy, you are very myopic......obnoxiously myopic! (no offence pls)
Sir, what was your scores? If it is true that those that had lower marks were offered admission, we can easily verify that. All you need do is to check the list that was released, copy the ref no/ application no of each candidate and go check their results, so that we will have an idea of what they scored and compare .
