The first letter was "A" followed by "P". Then i saw "R",and then "I". It took a little more effort before I saw an "L". There was a space before the next letter "F" followed by "O" and yet another "O". It was then that the car disappear before i could make out the last letter. The little girl next to me said she saw the last letter and it was an "L". After reading the incriptions on the number plate no one had to wait to ask further questions. We silantly went home. What a ghost!
