Ride a bicycle I'm not perfect in it. It's been years I rode one

Swim ❌

Drive ✔️

Fry plantain without eating ✔️

Play a sport ✔️

Can prepare swallow ✔️

Can prepare soup ✔️

Can go a month without soda ✔️

Can go a month without alcohol ✔️

Can go a week without taking garri ✔️


I can only prepare swallow and soup, I don't like alcohol, soda and garri. I tried learning how to ride bicycle but couldn't because of my fear of height.

Today I couldn't get money to use so I could at least see something for myself today to put myself together as things are very though, since I already have #632 in my account I decided to tell someone to send me money and I got the alert of #500 naira,but guess what this stupid bank did they removed #300 from the money giving me a balance of #832 in my account,I was so sad even the customer care isn't going,I tried calling their account manager the person cut the call... what if that money was to save live imagine what Nigeria is doing to people. Upon everything they would just look for ways to steal from the poor masses,I just tire sef no matter anything someone does just to hold sef,abeg let's love one another in this trying this trying times cos it's only love that can help a depressed person in this country. please if you know you can support me with 5h from the bottom of your heart so that I would see 1k to withdraw please help and God bless.

Yeah, I do take [full or selected] breaks from social media, from time to time.

These following are some things I do during the period;

1:
I do more outdoor hangouts with loved ones, friends & good acquaintances (this is easy for me as I'm a social person & network easily)

2:
I read more books (on my career, self-development, history & other interesting categories)

3:
I watch movies a lot, especially on weekends cos my schedule on weekdays are usually very occupied.

4:
I also faithfully attend services at my worship centre, so I feel more connected to people of like-minds.

5:
Luckily for me, I often meet & connect with new, interesting people easily.

When you're with the right person/people, an hour seems like a minute with them cos you'll enjoy every moment there & then, but when you're hanging out with the wrong person/people/crowd, 5 minutes with them feels like hell

6:

P.S.: All through this period, my number is always available cos if anyone wanna reach me via voice call (whether for personal or for business), there would be no hitch.

Also, there was a time I took full breaks from social media for 2 years, and subsequent times, lesser than that.

Two suggestions:

1.
If people should be mandated to serve outside their states of residence, NYSC should pay for any damage that occurs in the process.

2.
If NYSC is unwilling to pay for the damages, serving outside one's state of residence should be absolutely optional for everyone.

A whole NYSC cannot raise 1 million Naira or mobilize police to rescue a citizen of Nigeria. Yet the NYSC exercise is termed "Serving your father land", and the same NYSC stands as a god between graduates and employment. What kind of a father is Nigeria to Nigerians? Nonsense.
