Don't blame them. Aside school fees, which some students don't even pay, there's nothing coming into the school's account and they don't receive any funding from the government, despite paying so much for accreditation and other operating fees. Those holiday lessons you see them organizing are merely to raise funds for the continuous day-to-day running of the school. Everyone including the owner of the school whom you're working for, doesn't expect you to build your career there. It's just a place to manage pending when you get something much better, that's why there's no career growth cos I doubt if you'll see anyone who has spent above 10 years working in a private school most especially in a city. |
In my opinion, you're just taking advantage of the girl whom I can easily guess is struggling to make ends meet. If you truly wanted kids with no strings attached, you could have easily met someone wherever you're based and have your kids with her. You easily choose your ex for this exercise cos you know that she won't refuse you probably because of the cash benefits she'll get from you. |
Your parents owe you the whereabouts of your daughter. You gave birth to that child, and left her under their care, so regardless of whether you're responsible enough to cater for her or not, they owe you her whereabouts. I'll suggest that you sit them down and ask them one last time. If they try to shut you down, tell them that you'll involve the police and other human rights groups. This isn't money you gave them to keep, we're talking about a human being here. How can a human being just disappear and you feel keeping shut is the best approach because they're your parents. My dear take action and take it now. If she's dead let them show you where they buried her. |

Nigerian exchange should take it easy on these companies. Most of them are barely managing to keep their head afloat in this horrible economy and you're still dishing out penalties....the government is no being fair. |
KarinaSlim:Still doesn't answer my question. She said Benin. If I tell you lekki girls love runs, I'm not referring to the whole Lagos girls, I'm referring to just that section of Lagos. So she should clarify if she meant the whole Edo state or just Benin city. |
Is it just Benin men or the whole Edo state men. She should clarify biko. 🙄 |
This mumu doesn't know that he can loose his job by this singular act. Diverting food meant for prisoners is a criminal act. But I won't be surprised if nothing is done to him, cos our leaders have so bastardized our laws that the common man sees nothing wrong in breaking one or two. |
iHateFraudsters:I expected you to counter the facts I presented with superior argument, but like the empty headed low IQ Nigerian you are, you resorted to insults. This is my last reply to you. |
aimmoney9:No be by ranking abeg...those guys are going there for the Benjamins. ![]() |
iHateFraudsters:Messi earns $60m per season at inter Miami. This is minus endorsements deals from companies who's products he advertises. $60m multiplied by 935 (naira exchange rate) would give you approximately N6b. If you add endorsement deals, it would gulp to about N9b. Kano's internal generated revenue as of last year was about N31b. And note that more than 60% of that amount are taxes paid by civil servants. So if you're to value the registered businesses there and put them up for sale, Messi's wages would definitely be able to buy them. Next time do your homework before quoting me to embarrass yourself. |
Messi went to Inter Miami for the money not the ranking, cos his wages alone at Miami can buy every single registered company in Kano state. |
Villa12:Exactly. |
The worst thing any youth in Nigeria would do to his life and destiny is to defend a Nigerian politician. They don't care about you. Leave them alone and Hussle for yourself cos they don't care if you go to bed hungry or you don't have a job... they just don't care. |
Kingosytex:It's done by poor northern Muslims who marry many wives and give birth to children they can't take care of. The children are sent to Islamic schools from a tender age which are being run by the state government. Upon attaining the age of 12 and above, the females amongst them are married off to suitors old enough to be their grandfathers, while the males are left to beg, rob, steal, hussle...etc just to survive. It would look like a horrible way to live to a southerner like you, but the northern leaders don't care. All they care about is their continuous domination as the most populated region in Nigeria. Even if 90% of that population are living in abject poverty, their leaders are less concerned. They would keep encouraging the poorest amongst them to keep producing kids. Cos more kids means more population which is a key factor for winning elections cos they'll always boast of having numerical strength and therefore can determine who would become president. An act which has continually made southern candidates crawl to them for alliance. If not that the South aren't United I don't see any reason why we should be joined together in one country with those people. |
EyeCumInPiss:Well said. Cos rolling out palliatives for 80-400k people in a state with a population of over 10m is ridiculous. Besides, sharing food items to these carefully selected persons isn't sustainable cos it's definitely going to cost the government billions. The best palliative is for the FG to subsidize fuel, education, medical bills of federal hospitals... etc, that way, even the so call vulnerable people would be able to afford it. |
Aside from competition and show off which girls love and cherish so much, I don't see the need for an expensive wedding. Cos after few weeks everyone has forgotten about the event as their minds are occupied with more important things. Besides, with the current state of the economy, any sensible man should know that spending unnecessarily for wedding isn't wise. Cos your spending only benefits the woman. While she's littering all her social media handles with colourful pictures of the event you're looking for how to pay back the debits you accumulated as a result of the wedding. So what's the point? |
It's a good suggestion but religious fanatics who's religion support polygamy would protest against it. The worst thing about the protest is that it would be done by the same poverty stricken people who can't afford to feed the children they already have. One would begin to wonder why they're bent on having more. Those saying the government should enforce it, it's like you guys don't know how things work in Nigeria. Every suggestion in this country no matter how good is first viewed from a religious point of view, then a tribal point of view. If it doesn't affect the religion and tribe of those ruling us, they'll give a positive nod on it. If it does, you'd be shocked that they'll sponsor rallies from the same people you're trying to help against it. Nigeria is a lost course. Just make money and leave. |
Alliswell248:That I come to your house and you share some personal stuffs with me doesn't give me the right to make public announcements on behalf of your family most especially on personal issues. Understand it from that point of view. |
Bankowner:The basin directly opposite her with white head pan is hers. The other one looks too small for an adult to carry, so it might be for her older sister. |
Acidosis:Lol...you're accusing me of what you are guilty of. If we both don't known her parents, why are you so confident that she's on holidays and helping her parents which is safer than staying back home with a pervert? What if she's an orphan? What if her mom is dead and her step mom made her and her siblings sell those things? What if she isn't schooling, cos that child doesn't look like someone who is privileged to attend basic school. My point is, there's nothing good about that picture. It's pure child labour which is against our constitution. Children of that age are not supposed to be subjected to hard labour. I expect you to know this. Rather you're defending it. 😩 |
Naijanascam:Government....YES MOGs....No. Reason being that you're not forced to patronize them. You can choose to stop going to church and no one would bother you. But we pay taxes to the government. So it's their responsibility to make the economy business friendly so that we can thrive. |
Ned is in no position to make such announcement. Only a direct family member or any of the couples involved should do so, not him. Ned should understand what boundaries mean. This isn't politics where propaganda is used for irrelevant issues. |
Acidosis:Haba, how can you compare a comfortable and secured office to this place where she's prone to sexual abuse, kidnappers, ritualists..etc. A child assisting his/her dad in a law, accounting, IT...etc firm is actually learning, so education is taking place. Someone whose parents deprived the privilege of going to school and gave her goods to sell instead isn't learning anything, cos while her mates are advancing academically, she's stuck at that spot struggling to make ends meet. |
Kobojunkiee:I doubt. Whoever took it had the intention of using it to bring likes and views to his page. |
Acidosis:@ bolded Even at that, she's too young to be exposed to such. Let the adult that took her out there Hussle alone. |
Kobojunkiee:I wasn't the one who took the picture, I saw it online and felt sad and decided to share it here. Judging from the background, it's obviously a rural area, so it would be a Herculean task locating her. |
I'm feeling so sad looking at this picture. This child should be in school learning, and come home to experience comfort from her parents. But she's here hussling for her parents and exposed to all kinds of evil. People are really going through a lot. May God protect her. Cc nlfpmod

caesymore:Have you seen that it was actually a walk-in-the-park? 😏 |
isidorem:Biko don't say that again. How can Nottingham forest defeat ManUtd at old Trafford. It's not possible. |
This should be a walk-in-the-park for us. Hopefully we'll use it to recover from the loss to Tottenham. |
TotoGame:That's not Igbo culture. And you're clearly not of the Igbo extraction. If you were and you frequent your village, you would have come across several Igbo widows who remarried without returning any bride price. And if you must know, the only person that has the right to demand for a refund of bride price is the person who paid for it which is the man. So if the man is dead, who has the right to demand for it? If you tell me divorce, I wouldn't argue cos the man is alive to demand for the money he paid for. But death, no way. The woman is free to remarry. |
