If you can afford it then go to Lagos and apply there.

I wanted to do Abj, earliest date I got as at early August/late july was mid September, had to opt for Lagos.

I visited as a tourist and got a place via Airbnb so the market price in the local town would be lower but for a furnished one-bedroom flat for about 3-weeks. I paid about $800 -$900. This covers water, electricity and the internet too.

Also, I flew, I don't know how safe the route is for you to drive unless you are going to pay a trusted coyote.

Of a truth, the British Embassy won't continuously know a genuine and legitimate visitor if this arcade way of visa processing continues.

They keep granting most overstayers visa 'cos they were able to abduct a principle all for visa processing.

You will have to apply from England i.e of you are based elsewhere last am aware there's just one VAC between England.

BRP to show status in UK
Then previous visas
As it's COVID season you might want to add proof of vaccination

That's about it. The requirements might have changed from when I applied as a student though.

I guess that the rules aren't yet updated. In most parts of the world vaccinated people still need a negative PCR test to travel and some countries mandate a negative PCR test a couple of days after arrival. Vaccination in itself does not prevent you from getting or spreading the virus though, it reduces your chances of being critically ill from it.

I need some clarifications on the Uk visa form. My sister in law recently moved to the Uk for her studies. My brother goes from time to time but he does not live there. The part of the form that states “do you know anyone in the UK”. I know I need to state yes. Do I need any documents from her? I live in Canada and will be sponsoring myself and will only visit her and the kids. I would be staying in a rented apartment with my sister (we would be traveling together).

Do I need to include any documents from her or my brother considering the fact that we wouldn’t be staying with them?

Ideally, you should not be allowed to submit in the first instance as your documents will be checked by an agent before you are cleared for submission.

France is issuing for frequent travellers (if you hold/held a visa to U.K, Canada, USA or schengen area).

France is also allowing fully vaccinated tourists in.

That is true and it depends on who,s table the application goes to on the day.Some dot every i and cross every t.If they actually check and the reservation is cancelled it looks iffy for the applicant.But then again God for us all.

I think you are right. I just had my schengen visa renewed and the accommodation reservation was cancelled even before my biometrics.

I think a good rule of thumb would be provide requested documents and also documents to substantiate any claims you make in your application.

Do I still go ahead with the biometrics or do a full cancellation and restart another application even if the refund will be revert back 28 days . Please I need your advices

After getting a 6months visa and used it for 12 days stated in my application, Can I apply for 2 years tourist?

The only reason why I would like a 2years is to have a valid visa in my passport for the next 2 years and would be able to travel anytime I like without gathering documents now and then if I intend to travel.

Can I state the above as the reason for a 2years visa in my cover letter or it is not necessary?

Will the 6months cover letter I used previously be so much different from the one I intend to use for 2years?

I will appreciate your opinion on how to improve my chances for the 2 years. I plan to submit my application by the 2nd week of October, for a plan trip on December 15th.

You do not need a reason for applying for a 2 year visa. You are also not required to give one. A cover letter is not a requirement. If you want to do one you i.e. write a cover letter, it should ideally contain details of your trip as opposed to justification of duration applied for e.g. Do you provide reasons as to why you want a 6-month visa? I guess not. Rather you might want to elaborate more on travel details, home ties, things you will do on your trip etc.
