Supporters of PMB are in large majority at the NASS.

PMB can afford to snub Nigeria’s reps, no thanks to the rigged political structure of Nigeria where northern soldiers wrongly used land mass as criterion to proliferate 20 new federating units in one northern region, but created only 17 new federating units in the 2 southern regions. Three regions - east west and north - formed Nigeria in 1960. The 3 regions had some balance of political power then. But from 1967 to 1996, north recreated Nigeria through its loyal military dictators. The new 36 states and Abuja they created practically tilted political power and larger share of federal allocations to northern Nigeria. South became like political and economic beggars to northern politicians.

Which bridge did Yoruba burn? They have been in alliance with other ethnic group since inception, because they understand politics is a game of number, the North, and SW with some votes from SS are enough to win any election, you can take your inconsequential votes to the evil forest...

Gerraherehn!
Since Nigeria independence in 1960, Yoruba has not allied politically with other groups in Nigeria outside Yoruba land - except APC where Tinubu’s private interests are supreme for him.
Action Group of Awolowo to AC, AD and ACN - these have been political parties of the Yorubas.

Even when we agreed to field two Yorubas - OBJ and Falae- to contest with the tickets of the two largest political parties in 1999, Yoruba refused to vote the winning party - PDP.

Congratulations to Ghanians.

You don’t place religious beliefs, ethnoreligious bigotry ahead of your country’s political process.

In Nigeria, they have reappointed the same Mohammed to continue with election fraud in 2023.

There is hardly any more opposition parties in Nigeria.

Descendants of Othman Danfodio in north Nigeria have carefully brought all Nigerians to the political party they control which brought Nigeria to the level of country with the most impoverished population and terrorized. Yet Nigerians from all creeds troop to the same party with the hope that descendants of Othman Danfodio shall pick one person to be formalized by ridiculous election process in a false democracy to succeed PMB in 2023.

Way back in 2009/2012, a Blackberry device was on everybody's wishlist. Those Blackberry people use our eyes see pepper that year. Any small thing, "ping me!" "What's your BB pin?" People just assumed that you a BB device. Even the notification sound from BBM alone made some people feel like they have made it, Lol. Then from 2012/2013, the brand began to die. I think people moved to Android devices and iPhones. It was even after the whole Blackberry trend ended I got to use one.

There were other popular phone brands, too, that just suddenly went under the radar. What happened to these brands: HTC, Blackberry, LG, Sony, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Alcatel? I think Nokia is recently trying to pick up. Those guys made cool devices back then.

Modified: I know some of these brands still make phones, but I'm talking about market share and dominance.
HTC better pass IPhone. HTC is still popular in other countries.

You know how Nigerians go for newintown but can’t manufacture toothpicks.

Yeah! So when has it become a norm in our democratic journey that the national assembly of a country cant summon a president? Buhari is now a god that is neither answerable to the NASS or Nigerian people but being shielded away from public scrutiny at all times? So the question remains who is in Aso Rock?

Well, nothing new.A handpicked rubberstamp stooge NASS have no right to summon or impeach a lifeless president. Malami is plain stupid.Everyone under this useless government is just lawless.I guess zombies are enjoying how Buhari is treating them with impunity? Una go get sense by force
Like Mallami is now shielding Buhari-

Andooaka was shielding dead Yar’Adua until some Ministers summoned courage with a memo that declared Yar’Adua’s position vacant.

Shortly after that, the remains of Yar’Adua were flown in to Abuja at the dead of the night. Nigeria got a new president.

grin

this is what happens when you are operating with a none consensus constitution, but a constitution written by greedy elects to hold on to power for their unborn generations.

if NASS can't invite a president for questioning, what right does citizens have to ask for accountability?

it a common knowledge we are not practicing democracy neither are we practicing federal system of government, everything that has to do with the system have been bastardize.

there is a question we are yet to ask, when we obtained democracy in 1999 are our leaders aware of what they agreed to? are they aware that we won't be practicing true federalism as a bargain for democracy?

was it why the effort to restructure the country to true federalism was meant with stiff opposition? who are those benefiting from this structure that leaders are not accountable and can remain in powers until death do them apart?

why is the president electing INEC officials if our votes can count contrary to our president demands?

is high time we restructured this country and bring our leaders home from Abuja, the early the better. we can't be blaming Abuja for our miseries and our grandchildren continue from where we stopped.

if the president of America was the one appointing judiciary heads would there have been any opposing elements to his demands? we have a judiciary that works for the president because they are grateful to him by appointing them, why don't we measure success with hard-work than favour?
PMB is shielded by the lopsided political representation favoring Buhari’s far north- lopsided political representation derived from the skewed political structure of 20 states in the northern region but 17 states in the two southern regions that formed independent Nigeria with the northern region.

Through this skewed political structure created by north through its loyal military dictators, the Buhari’s of northern Nigeria can do anything they want about Nigeria - no consequences if what they did was bad.

SS people sold their mineral resources in 1967 when some of SS UNWISE ELDERS traveled to Kaduna and begged the then governor of northern region, Hassan Katsina, to beg then HoS, Yakubu Gowon, to carve out the non-Igbo speaking parts of the old eastern region away from Biafra.

Gowon quickly agreed and created Cross Rivers and Rivers state out of Biafra.

That largely led to defeat of Biafra.

Immediately after, northern soldiers and civilians colonized oil wells worth billions of dollars in the SS.

After APC led Nigeria to be the world’s capital of poverty and one of the most indebted countries in Africa, why do officials of APC think the party shall continue to lead Nigeria after PMB?
Because they know that Nigeria is not a normal country, as power in Nigeria is given not won?
Politics › Re: David Umahi Attends The First APC National Executive committee by Nchenches: 1:53pm On Dec 08, 2020
After making Nigeria the poverty capital of Africa, why would people still believe in APC and move from other parties to APC? It’s because Nigeria is not a normal country.

Nigeria was restructured by north to make north lead. APC is a northern-led party.

Nigeria is matching toward more poverty; it doesn’t matter where the president comes from, because the self-acclaimed least-educated northern group steers Nigeria.
