Who takes cramjones serious anyway.... This thread should have been opened, with this exact words three years back. Sorry, but it has come to stay. The funny thing I that APC has a strong online presence even up to the president. So what is posted on this forum gets to them. Believe me these posts really makes some of them I know very sad and uncomfortable. I reacted to this year's back when Jiminy disu, spoke on TVC on the hate online posts regarding Patience Jonathan when she was sick. I said we are starting what may never end in this COUNTRY. Some persons cannot insult the institution of government as high as the presidency even before the international community, simply because they hate Jonathan and think it will just end like that... Sorry to say, it doesn't work that way. |
We all knew how low SR went in past years, we are waiting to see the trajectory of their journalism this time. |
No one is worried about PDP opposition. Maybe the APC are the ones losing sleep over it. Truth is that PDP us in crisis because of the election results. We are aware of this hence, We the Patriots, the citizens of this country will become the opposition to make APC situp. Some persons think it's either PDP or APC. That's myopic. Nigerians for now are the opposition to the government. I don't belong to PDP and many others. But we shall speak out against the lackadaisical attitude of this present government. APC should get this fact into their heads. |
What the heck is the CCB verifying? I don't trust them to thoroughly verify the oga at the top. They should bring it to the court of public opinion. We can do a better verification. |
apolonius:Then the position should have gone to the south south. At least there is a ranking rep member from edo state. Let's not deceive ourselves in this country. What is happening now is dangerous but in thinking ourselves wise, we may become fools. |

Are the electing speaker for Nigeria? Or for APC? |
So what is buhari waiting for? |
i think he is having an exaggerated opinion about himself. he wants to play in another turf. he has his job cutout. so between him and he other mallam, who should we take seriously. |
The @op does have a point. For me, the people involved in bokoharam are looking for a classic way to end the drama. Without outcry from people. They'll have to continue with bokoharam for the next 6 years. I'm not a northerner but. I'm taking the issue personal. If bokoharam ends without doubts erased. We shall not take it lightly. |
They tried to make the state ungovernable for him, but they failed. Why shouldn't he celebrate |

The FG is doing nothing about this. |
More fingers are pointing at Nigeria’s Central Government under President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, accusing it of sponsoring insurgency in the Northeast and other parts of the North. Sheikh Muhammad Mahmoud Turi, one of the leaders of El-Zakzaky Muslim Sect declared on Thursday in Kano, northwest Nigeria that the Federal Government has a hand in the killings and maiming of innocent lives in the North. According to him, the consistent operation of the sect in the Northeast and other parts of the North for years now indicated that government and its agencies have a hand in the activities of the dreaded Boko Haram who have been killing people and rendering many homeless on daily basis. Sheikh Mahmoud who spoke to journalists at NUJ Press Centre also said his people would commence a six-day mass trekking ritual from Kano to Zaria starting from Sunday, December 7, to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussain, a freedom fighter. On Wednesday, National Chairman of the All Progressive Ccongress, APC, also slammed President Jonathan’s government over Boko Haram urging Nigerians to hold the government responsible. This is coming few days after Nigerian government exonerated itself from sponsoring insurgency. APC National Chairman, John Odigie Oyegun noted in Kano, northwest Nigeria that the Federal Government has not displayed the political will to stop insurgency and other violent crimes in the country. He was in Kano with other party officials to commiserate with the government and people Kano over last Frida’s bomb blasts at Kano central Mosque. They donated N5 million to the victims. They visited the Emir’s Palace and the hospitals where they condoled with the victims. Oyegun who spoke in Kano Government House where Deputy Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje received them on behalf of his boss, Engr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso who is out of Kano for official engagement, said: “We are in a situation where we have a government, we have security service which now seem to be totally either unwilling or impotent, both of which are equally bad, because they are not willing to control the situation or you are also powerless that you are unable to control the situation. “The fear today is that we are gradually crippling towards anarchy. We are not talking of den guns anymore. We are not even talking about pistols; we are now talking of automatic weapons in the hands of people all over; in every part of the nation. “My personal fear is that one day we will wake up and we will find a nation that is totally ungovernable. My pray is that this does not happen before February 15 when it will become clear that forces of progress— people who truly believe in Nigerian nation— people who truly believe that this country was put together by God for a purpose—the devil is diverting us today from that purpose. Bad leadership is diverting us from that purpose. “A leadership that cannot summon the will nor the courage to take decisions are diverting us from that purpose. Nigeria has become a name that is despised, virtually despised world-wide. “Even our own African brothers are beginning to virtually laugh at us because even they cannot understand that these people called insurgents can be allowed to roam so freely in the northeastern part of this country such that only a few days ago, they could drive into Damaturu, get to Government House, held the whole state capital under siege before our military could get them under control at great cost in human lives—even to themselves. thenewsnigeria.com.ng/2014/12/04/muslim-cleric-accuses-jonathan-of-backing-boko-haram/ I can't read this and not see politics |
Despite the hate from APC supporters Fayose had the last laugh. Respect. May the jaaaaanjaweeeds rot in he'll. |
Well, personally this statement by the @op may not cut it for me, coz buhari did not say so. But this statement ended my liking buhari.... "An attack on bokoharam is declaration of war against the north " For me that is the most unpatriotic statement ever made regarding the bokoharam issue. I take that statement so personal and seriously. History of my post shows that. Because that statements, _increased regional sentiments in the bokoharam war _made the president look bad in the eyes of those he governs _weakened the military that some soldiers aligned with bokoharam _it complicated the war.. and made it highly political. I personally have an issue with buhari on this.. I'm yet to come to terms with it. Most of what you see my write about buhari was because of that statement. In fact it started after I read the report. Sorry to say |
The amount of killing happening since buhari became president is terrific. Just hope he is not using human blood to appease his juju. Na real wah! |
He rejected the CPC governor 's money to renew the rent BUT Did not reject Danjuma' s money to pay the initial rent. Because of "integrity" Who are these jaaaaanjaweeeds fooling? |

I have no reason not to believe this news. After all, buhari have not declared his assets publicly. He should come out himself and deny it. Else, it will be on record that our president lied and scammed Nigerians |
I have no reason to doubt this news after all buhari have not declared his assets publicly as promised. Buhari can come and deny it himself. |
The fuel issue have not been addressed. Most fuel station around are not selling. The few selling. Citizens are having a hard time getting the commodity. In my area in Ajah, no light. May God forbid bad thing... We should get our priorities right. |
Those who are looking for who to fight corruption don't want wike to fight corruption. Because of APC Those who want buhari to prob GEJ don't want wike to prob amaechi because they support APC. They don't seen any wrong or corruption when it has to do with Amaechi because of APC support Hypocrisy |
I don't give a damn about all these bokoharam news because of my personal believe about bokoharam. My own concern is the 'bring back our girls' thing. *Is the campaign over already? *Have we forgotten the girls, shouldn't they hold the FG to task in bringing back the girls? *If the campaign wasn't against GEJ but the government shouldn't we at least remind this new government about it by protesting to ask rock? *Has oby ezekwesili relaxed on the issue? *Or was it a deliberate attack against the past administration just to bring the government to disrepute? *Or was it hijacked for political manipulation? Can someone help. |
Can we also say the blood of the dead is on buhari? :-D Some persons usually say so about GEJ before. Just because they want power at the center. BTW, insist that bokoharam is a northern game. It just went wrong. |
Let this thread hit the front page so that history will not be hidden. I read and hear some people say others are pained because of GEJ but let's be truthful he was unjustly vilified most times. And you think those who know the truth and are pained will just accept it like that? Let's be honest. |
@op, you are just bleating. What is wrong in talking about our president. You think everyone will fall for such sentiments? Look, if you are already uncomfortable with the trend then take a vacation. Look, people analyze things differently and they have a right to do so. If we see what is not right, by all means we should say so. If you think the past administration will be criticized and this one will not simply for APC reasons, then you must be in for a shocker. We sowed a very stubborn seed we should know we just gave to live with it because things like this don't end. You know what I'm talking about. |
PassingShot:I remember telling you on this thread www.nairaland.com/2339765/buhari-orders-keyamo-step-down/4#34144222 that there is a grand plan to let this guy off the hook. They are just looking for a neat way to get it done. You told me it was a conspiracy theory. You also said the source was a junk newspaper. Etc.... I told you that everyone knows the zeal Keyamo displays when it comes to things like this. This was too suspicious. Now you see.... Look, we are not saying that PDP is good or they have not failed or they shouldn't be voted out. But we can't just on that group rate APC as absolutely clean or good.....when we all know that corrupt money is what runs our present day Nigeria. People push other thieves away just so that they can also steal their own. They are so forceful in labeling the past administration as evil in every aspect. What is the motivation? To also do what they accused PDP of. Look, people are positioning seriously to loot in this dispensation and do it without a trace while they shout PDP. We know this because we are Nigerians. We have some things in common. (A white man can't tell the difference between the man from Ghana and Nigeria, but you know we know ourselves. ) |
remsonik:Stop looking at things from campaign. The previous administration started receiving knocks from day1. What you saw during campaign was reactionary and normal for a contest especially when the stakes are high. The other era is past. This one of buhari is what we got. People are free to take their positions and make their opinions. Not I don't belong to the PDP. that party is in crisis. Nigerians like me will have to be the opposition. Get this right. |
Spot on Barcanista, these are the exact points we have been making in our response in various threads so far. The response on bokoharam was not in any way proactive. In fact they had to respond sequel to reactions from the social media/nairaland The government seem pretty dazed already or oblivious of what is before them so early. Look at the quick report from the notorious nation news paper on assets declaration, they had already forgotten what buhari said. we must Always remind them. In fact I listened to Dr odinkalu of the National human rights commission, the other day and he reiterated the need for public assets declaration with reference to the promise by buhari. Now we've already seen a somersault. May I state that your topic as hash as it may seem was apt and drives home the point. The idea is that we have raised the bar of governance and we must not bring it down irrespective of any blackmail from the blind supporters of buhari. Barcanista, thumbs up. Hope this hits the front page for more robust input. |
@op, is foaming in the mouth. As if buhari wanted his immediate predecessor to succeed. If people can wish yaradua death, if they can wish Jonathan to fail or wishing his wife death, if people can see the truth but refused to say it.. Then buhari have nothing to worry about. If he decides to fails, that is his own cup of tea. If he succeeds good for him. But note this fact. -we shall not lower the standard and expectations of government because of buhari -he must fulfill his campaign promises or be seen to have failed. No two ways about it. -we shall not beat the first wife for wrong doing and allow the new wife to do wrong also. -we can not suddenly be endlessly patient, when we displayed impatience With the former administration -it will be so unfair if we allow the present government get away with things the previous one was unable to get away with. -it will be so irresponsible for us to condone any format of high handedness from this present team, when we never tolerated it with the other team. -,it will be unjust if we for any reason justify malicious comments on our symbol of sovereignty by people both home and abroad on the past government and now feel it's not okay to do same to this present team without repentance. If it's okay for the past, it must be okay for the present. In all, the present government is condemned to deliver. In fact, they either deliver or die. Those who feel uncomfortable should get used to it. |
Very good move. I think okowa will be good for our state. |
