Buhari can reduce that corruption , and even though all these things are yet to manifest in some people's eyes , it doesn't mean it's not being done

Why would people lament and Go on strike about breaking down NNPC when it'll be cheaper to run and less corrupt ?

Why would people lament about Power supply that's reduced by 50% in recent times when actually PHCN under the Buhari Admin is actually fixing the problems saboteurs caused ?

Why would people say the anti corruption campaign is a media trial when obviously the culprits are very powerful , financially , links , connection wise and they can be very persuasive , death threats or money , these marafakers don't have to do anything, people loyal to them will do the job

The reason why i dislike most wailers is they can't think , they read the news , but choose what they want to see ,

*The reason people will go on strike for a poorly thought out policy is the same reason people occupied Nigeria in 2012.

*People will lament power drop because
-people lament power drop all over the world
-that our government of propaganda Always give exaggerated mega watts as being generated when they have made zero investment in the sector. So which power plant is generating the "all time high" power.
-That the present players were unreasonable in their criticism before the got into power.
-That they are condemned to work and deliver or die. They are not working, not delivering yet seeking justification.
-that intelligent findings showed that the past sabotage was done by people sympathetic to the present government. In strong collaboration with people within the last government.

*people will say the anti corruption fight is all media noise because
-That is what it is... We've heard of soak away banking and demonizing people before taking them to court. etc.
- That people around the president are also corrupt yet he shields them.
-If indeed the last administration diverted public funds for election. We agree it's wrong. But has our president told us the source of his election funds? Only and infinitely daft person will not know that the various state governments diverted their state funds to prosecute the buhari campaign. Nature hates hypocrisy, it seeks balance.

Finally, people are complaining because under this present government, people's purchasing power have reduced greatly. In a thriving economy, it doesn't happen this fast. Something is wrong. That's the point people are making. Worse, is that there is low liquidity. The banks don't have money. We don't mean dollars. We mean naira. The banks can't even easily support a petrol station business as before. Something is wrong.

The idiots pretending as if nothing is wrong just to justify their voting choice are not helping matters.

Since they don't want to say the truth, they should allow us say it. If this government gets it right we will all be happy. We are not all politicians.

We say form government, appoint kitchen cabinet, his supporters say we should shot up.

We say no time, appoint ministers, his supporters say we should shot up.

We say give us your economic thoughts and plan so that private sector can quickly align, his supporters say we should shot up that they are cleaning mess.

We say, it seems this thing is confusing, setup an economic team let's look at these things together, he's supporters pounced on us, until Soyinka spoke.

Who will now tell this government the truth. The Zombies?

Some people must be really mad.

Bring back corruption....is not hilarious
It is OFFENSIVE. BringbackGej is not even applicable because the things u see or are seeing were the things the former president wanted to do but couldn't do. Why else do u think he conceded defeat as an incumbent president? He knew that was the only way things will change.
Let us give it time, it's still too early in the days. The benefit will become clear sooner than later. God is still on the throne. Change is not an easy feat to attain what with years of "business as usual "

Suffer now, fix the economy and enjoy later.
My people suffer for lack of vision. Buhari has proven to be a visionary leader, nothing has ever worked in this country. With corruption our healthcare system was the worst, still is, roads were nothing to write home about, no basic amenities, no accountability and Nigerians were so unruly.
#istandwithbuhari if he will take away corruption for good, we must all endure and clean up our rotten system that only benefited 10%of the population. May God give his people wisdom and grant our President the strength to lead us right. Amen
Are you corrupt?

Have you life worked.

I'm not insulting you it's just a sincere question.

The ones I spent for I didn't marry them.

Na advice I dey give.. and time, which is money but not money.

A guy does not owe any lady an obligation of providing for her until after marriage. GUYS invest your money. this thread will turn you to a Maga. You'll be looking for sex compensation.

The lady who is not married to you yet keeps receiving, will be uncomfortable if you give another lady anything. Don't give. Don't waste your money. Invest it. Otherwise, marry her, make her family and give her everything.

This was how my neighbor got 4 blackberry phones from 4 different guys on her birthday. Yet she sleeps with men at oriental hotel.

The fools giving her those phones share same sentiments as some condemned magas here.

Back to the topic; Madam do not marry him, not because he is not suitable for you, but rather you are not psychologically mature for marriage. A lady with the mentality of "if you don't pay my bills or spoil me with gifts, then you not the one" is definitely not psychologically ripe for marriage ...... also the hypothetical anecdote you tried using on him further reaffirms my stance on your immaturity........ so i'll as a matter of urgency admonish you take out time, forget marriage for now, and do some growing up before you venture into that esteemed institution called marriage which is often trivialise by kids of today.....

By January 27th 2015, GEJ has already delivered on all his promises.

He never told us he was going to make Naira equal to Dollars.
He never told us he will get powers up to 40,000MW: neither did he trivialized the enormity of the issues of power unlike some who said they see no reason why power cannot be increased or steadied in 6 months.
Meanwhile 1 year down the line, they have not scratched an increase in power generation and neither have they improved transmission of power supply.

Forex in GEJ 6 year tenure was constant except for the election year, which was quite normal given our brand of politics (cash politics and stomach infrastructure).

However today I learnt a new word perfected by the Govt. economic Terrorism.
A term that describe our just too recent experience where some people were just too large that there action and inactions were too loud that they determine the value of Naira, for which we are now hostage economically.

There were hardly more than 2 times we had to queue up at the filling station at GEJs time: Now my wife, I and the Kids queue at the filling station from 430am just to wet our car tanks talk less of buying for your generator, as you now have to drag your generators to the filling station to get it filled up.

If not for the sycophants and the saboteurs from the North who were hell bent on ruling the country, causing him the many problems he dealt with in his tenure plus his greed for second term, non-firmness and free-spirited nature...some of his many character flaws I must add, he simply would have passed as the best President Nigerian had if results were anything to go by.

Tangible economic result and policy consistency that is, and not this propaganda type govt. A Govt. for the social media, and by the media.
Bros, the problem with GEJ's government was all about boko haram and how to solve it. It was a great distraction from day one. That 900 billion was budgeted for defense, instead of other infrastructure, it was just to solve boko haram, that dasuki diverted money, was because of the desperation to solve boko haram by all means. Look, remove boko haram, GEJ's government was more poised to lift Nigeria than any other government. Remember he had a power road map before he ran for election, which he presented to Nigerians in Lagos. He had his team ready for it also.

People around him may be have undone his efforts but you can't take his grace away from him.

No leader is a super man.

Look my friend, this ese/yunusa saga won't have regenerated to this point if reasonable people and junk mainstream media houses didn't bring politics, ethnicity and religion into it. Fortunately they have succeeded in making this two lovebirds story into a politically motivated story, that is; south versus north and Muslims versus Christians. And no matter what anybody will say or think, this is how this case will be viewed by majority of the populace.

A pastor recently abducted three school girls(all where minors), nobody knows whether he has carnally known them and nobody seems to care. We didn't hear people call for the pastors head as we heard every jack and Jill calling for yunusa's head. And why is this so?

At your second paragraph, may I also remind you that yunusa is an 18 years old teenager who is ignorance (though the law said ignorance is never an excuse) of the law that is not even properly defined? Yunusa didn't murder anybody. His actions and inactions were all base on negligence.

The girl in question is even 17yrs. Yes ESE is rightfully 17yrs old because she said it herself. No clarity is needed here whether with her original birth certificate or anything else. She "might have actually told yunusa that she is 17yrs before they eventually elope together
You are just being a clown. Do you in your life believe this crap you wrote? Can you put your life on the line for this thing you just wrote as the truth?
You, Yinusa, the attention seeking lawyers and those behind them can beg for leniency and not this nonsense you are writing. Yinusa is 18 years indeed...... How will people not politicize and ethnicize it when you people are openly telling lies and increasing the age of the little girl for silly reasons. If we must have a sane society, Yinusa and the big men behind him must face the law and the consequences of their action. Period!!

For a man who had being a strong voice for the APC south of the Niger. Bold enough to stand and campaign against his kinsman, GEJ. Also, a gubernatorial aspirant in the elections. Honestly, it would have being unfair, to have allowed him to remain jobless. Considering his struggles through the numerous courts processes to reclaim and alleged mandate. Dr. Peterside spent so much from his pocket. Nevertheless, it is only fair to give him something/somewhere to enable him to recover electoral expenditures, pay some unsettled debts and keep him loyal to the party.
Is he going to do that from his statutory earnings or through diversion of funds. Let's be honest.

Buhari and his people already know where the free money is. It's now to loot on behalf of APC and buhari. Divert funds to sponsor the party and lavishly spend state funds as well as recover money spent on election and tribunals.

You are not being intelligent.

Firstly, are you saying we should not hold this government accountable for anything? Is that what you mean?

Secondly, if the government have truly blocked areas of getting illegal funds from the nnpc then that's good. However, I doubt if anyone out there can attest to the effect of the policy in their lives.

Also, the presidency cannot by fiat unbundled the nnpc without recourse to relevant stakeholders and the National Assembly. This is irrespective of how noble the idea is.

The last administration change the name of unilag and the court stopped it because the universities was setup by an act and can't be unilaterally changed.

Same is the nnpc. You think the past government who were going through the route of the PIB don't know what they are doing?

If truly they unbundled nnpc by fiat, then, that's brazen rascality and the zenith or cluelessness. It may not be nnpc tomorrow or it may be another government.

We must not be biased in government assessment. It is wrong.

Lastly no one is sabotaging this government, but itself. If they don't want to do things right they can GET Out.

Nigerians can keep changing governments until we get it right.

We must not swallow this shiit. That's the point.
