If we would have gotten that bad run of form under Emery or Wenger, at least we would have gotten 55 goals against us

Not that City won't/can't win but don't expect 6-0 we have improved beyond that. We have become a lot more stable to lose with such scorelines. We got better.

Even then, Arsenal's league position was better than this. I really do not know how people came to a conclusion that Arsenal have improved. Isn't Arsenal not 10th or 11th in the league now?

The fact that the tempo and quality of the league has really dropped which has resulted in lack of goals has hidden the fact that Arsenal can still loose embarrassingly.

Arsenal will loose to Man City again though not in an embarrassing way. This is not because Arsenal have improved but Mancity have also declined seriously.

We just need to click in our attack and everything will be awesome.
One thing I notice is, no matter how Luiz disappoints, sometimes (red card, needless fouls or pk), he's still an integral part to that defence and to Arteta's style of play. He has all the attributes and leadership qualities for the manager's style of play.

I just hopes Arteta works on his attack movement and system more

Nothing was fixed. Those teams that used to beat you mercilessly got poorer. Face Bayern or PSG to confirm this..

Really glad for today's match.
The exchanges in midfield and in our front line was too good. It's been a long while I enjoyed such interplay in midfield and attack. All these happened cos of the personnel we'd in midfield and attack (ceballos , odegaard, Rowe and saka). I know Arteta might be resting players for Europa, but those personnel really made today's game enjoyable.

What's wrong with Willian and Arteta. And why is it that immediately we introduced Willian, we lost hold and control of that game. Willian seem to be everywhere and nowhere. You'll always see him where there's ball, but he'll never tackle, close down or even intercept any ball. Just running upandan. Also, I don't know how Martinelli might be feeling sha.

Saka is a Star. He's too good mehn
ESR and odegaard are good too. They're so fluid and have this "pass and move" I love about them.

Good to see the 3rd goal how we have have up to 5 of our players in the box. Hope we see more of that.

Nice game overall.. We move on to benfica

William was once Chelsea's best. Something in Arsenal that makes decent players look so poor..

If Martinez was still at Arsenal, the club would have been in the top four by now...A top goalkeeper is the one who organizes the defense in front of him. He is difficult to score against.

In which part of goal keeping is Leno outstanding? Is it in shot stopping, or sweeper role/ playing from the back or ball distribution where his performance is abysmal?

BTW, I didn't say William started the match....

I am not even an Arsenal fan to be emotional or not. There is a reason for Leno being at Arsenal and the other keeper at Aston Villa...If you know better than the professionals, then good luck.

In the mordern game, you need your defenders and wingers to sharethe goalscoring burden with the attackers. There is a reason the likes of Van Diyk and Sergio Ramos are highly ated in the game.

Emiliano Martinez....Arteta sold this keeper who won him the FA Cup and kept Bernd Leno who is an average keeper at best.


in the final analysis, Arsenal are not serious....

This is a bad analysis. William didn't start the match. Martinez isn't better than Leno. Holding is Arsenal's best defender ATM.
