Politics › Re: El-Rufai Is Boko Haram’s Executive Commander – Ihejirika by nduchucks: 9:30pm On Aug 29, 2014
mikeansy: Nduchuks you should know better

The structure of command in Nigerian army will not allow Ihejirika to run a private policy or agenda

He has to give orders to major generals and colonels who are not all Igbos

Besides how many times have we seen Boko Haram wear army uniform commit atrocities and blame the Nigerian army

You can try all you like but it will be impossible to selectively appreciate the efforts of government in tackling Boko haram

Ihejirika was the servant of the Nigerian government and was executing government policy. It will be impossible to selectively blackmail the man.

All of this effort to attack Ihejirika will be better helpful if channelled to help defeat this terror group called Boko haram

Slitting of peoples troAt and butchering pregnant women is the mode of operation of Boko Haram and it's sympathisers.

Has anybody produced evidence of a signal or video of Ihejirika giving orders for anybody's throat to be slit?

Do we not live in a country where soldiers undermine the army they serve for ethnic and religious reasons?

Those who want to accuse Ihejirika of all sorts must do more work to achieve that. A video of a bunch of thugs in military gear slitting people's throat will just not do!

In any case we have the bigger issue of Boko Haram terrorising parts of our country and declaring an Islamic state in which all must convert or be killed.

It baffles me why nduchuks and his type are not protesting against Boko haram with the same vigour they attack Ihejirika huh?
Story story. Both Boko Haram members and members of Ihejirika's army including he himself should be summarily executed if found guilty of war crimes.

Their attrocities have been documented, justice will be served soon enough. I have no sympathy for anyone who mistreats Nigerians and willy nilly murders them.

mikeansy: Lol

Ihejirika was simply executing the policy of the Nigerian Government

Any attempt to paint it into something else amounts to closet support for terrorism!
Stop smearing the good name of the Nigerian government. These documented attrocities and war crimes have never been the policy of the Nigerian Government. It is not the policy of the Nigerian Government to have soldiers slitting the throats of Boko Haram suspects and dumping their bodies in a mass grave.

naijaking1: My brother, the correct approach is to condemn ALL atrocities against unarmed Civilians. You can not pick and choose which cases are genocide and which are not
Where in my post did I promote not condemning all attrocities?

What we are discussing now are the attrocities perpetrated by Ihejirika's team. Your diversionary tactics will not absolve him of these crimes. Join decent people to condemn these crimes!

SUBMARINE: Where was this same human right groups during the days of Odi Zaki Ibiam etc genocide. If you seek justice, start from the root and not the branch.
The above is a red herring which has nothing whatsoever to do with the issue at hand.

You sound like a person who does not want a thief, from his tribe, caught red handed, to be prosecuted because another thief escaped prompt justice.

naijaking1: My friend, na you dey sound like ISIS so?
All war crimes in Nigeria needs to be investigated, beginning from Asaba!
Haba, you are better than this na. The attrocities commited by the Nigerian army led by Ihejirika, including war crimes, are well documented. Your introduction of Asaba into this is a red herring. When did you stert replacing logic with name calling in your hitherto well reasoned posts?

You may as well start calling Amnesty International and NBC reporters, ISIS. Read the real truths below:

tit: So these are the actions of a boko haram sponsor?
They are the proven actions of a war criminal.

Frankly Ihejirika, Sherif, or any other person suspected of directly or indirectly being a BH sponsor must be thoroughly investigated and if found guilty, summarily given the capital punishment.
Politics › Re: El-Rufai Is Boko Haram’s Executive Commander – Ihejirika by nduchucks: 5:33am On Aug 29, 2014
Sincere9gerian: Meanwhile, if an Ihejirika from the southeast is the person remote controlling the destruction and dilapidation of an entire region using the instrumentality of Boko Haram, then it means Ihejirika must be a geniuse with extra-ordinary or even supernatural powers while the leaders of the region being destroyed are the biggest fool since the creation of mankind for allowing such devastation by an outsider.
Stop being intellectually dishonest. As COAS, ihejirika's team attempted to deal with the Boko Haram menace, but instead of doing it professionally, his team went on well documented killing spree of innocent women and children, and detained hundreds or thousands of innocent youths who are allegedly Boko Haram members. Many of who remain in prison without trial.

Ihejirika's team caused more destruction in many areas and devastated many families, far more than the then, miserably armed Boko Haram members could ever do. These attrocities are well documented. Sooner or later, both Ihejirika and his gang will face justice for gross human rights abuses and war crimes, along with the Boko Haram terrorists. These heartless people continue to mistreat Nigerians.

I must say that Nigerians are highly disappointed in Ihejirika's outbursts because of the accusations made by the Australian. What an emotionally unstable human being!!! He appears to be the type who will order the killings of innocent civilians when angered. Believe you me, he got angry while he was COAS more than a dozen time.

It is well documented that Ihejiraka's team commited war crimes including forcing detainees to dig their own graves, slitting prisoners' throats in gruesome ceremonial killings, and conducting arbitrary mass executions. nansense!!

[b] But on the other hand, knowing fully well that most of these Billionaires STOLE the money from the people's patrimony, WHY cant they just 'build the same BEST medical facility" in Nigeria.... and use it and let others also pay them for its use?
That was quite a leap you just made! Nothing I wrote implies that I am not in support of the building of world class facilities in Nigeria. In fact those who have the power to do so and have not, include shameless Governors and Presidents who do not have the vision to enable private corporations to come to Nigeria and invest in those health care facilities.

In my opinion, governments, state or federal, are incapable of running any successful business, including the hospital business. Governments should focus on governance.

The kind of incentives the Federal government is providing to Agri businesses and Auto manufacturers should be extended to health care companies who specialize in running world class hospitals. With those incentives, we will see a great improvement in our hospitals.

That said, I maintain that it is unreasonable to expect anyone with the means, not to seek out the best health care his/her money can buy. Life has no duplicate.
Politics › Re: Tinubu Travels Abroad For Medical Treatment by nduchucks: 1:06am On Aug 26, 2014
It is quitre obvious that many NL posters are poverty striken.

We all know that the best medical facilities in the world are not located in Nigeria. Expecting anyone who has billions of dollars to spend, not to go to the best medical facility available to him regardless of its location, is unreasonable.

3 attack helicopters, 4 tanks, 2 jets, a single drone, and 1,000 foot soldiers, are enough to wipe out any BH formation or offensive. These millitary commanders, including the Commander-In-Chief, have the blood of these gallant soldiers on their hands., Incompetent fools!

tit: Most Nigerian soldiers do not want to fight Boko Haram.
You read of their wives and children obstructing deployment of soldiers.
Is your own different?
Did you not also read that the wives and children were simply demanding quality fighting equipment for the soldiers since scores of their husbands and fathers have been killed by Boko Haram in Borno State in the last few months?

Why do you insist on being in the fight against Boko Haram?
You are being given a leeway to get out of trouble
But you want to be in a fight you do not want.
You are making these seemingly baseless assertions without regard for the realities on ground. When your neighbors kidnap your children, kill your relative, bomb and destroy your towns, you insist on defending yourself! Do not let your prejudices becloud your better judgement.

@Op, you obviously love the man or you wouldn't have been planning to marry him. I hate to be on the same side with Jakumo, the guy who goes bonkers at the name calling of one general, but I must suggest to you to pay close attention to his suggestions.

Note that over 50% of the so-called "clean" marriages end up divorce and 99% of them will contain elements of infidelity, primarily on the part of 'rabbitious' (ehoro libito) males.
