cloudgoddess:
If a Christian now starts criticizing the gods worshipped in Hinduism, this means the Christian now believes in Hindu gods? What kind of logic is this.
The answer to the above would be a definite No. It is however not analogous to my presumptions.

I maintain that if you do not believe in the existence of the Abrahamic God, then your question remains senseless. I stand corrected if you can expose the sensibility of the question.

cloudgoddess:
I think my OP targeted the Abrahamic God described in the bible & worshipped by Christians.
Thanks for the clarification which also indicates that the OP believes in the existence of the said Abrahamic God. If the OP does not believe in the existence of the said God, then the question posed is senseless.

@op, When mama Risi's helpers carry her dundu and akara condiments to her sideroad kiosk, would it be ok with you that those condiments are transported using pedestrian bridges?

If the cows blocked the roads while crossing, you will also complain. Which way na?

DeepSight:
The Ultimate, Eternal, Self existing First cause of all other existence. Carry on.
Given your definition of God above, then from your perspective the answer to Op's question is straight forward.

Answer: because he is the self existing first cause of all other existence. QED

Note: You are walking a very fine line with your abstract pronouncements here o.
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Would God Create Disease-Causing Bacteria? by nduchucks: 2:34pm On Jul 18, 2016
In my humble opinion, attempting to answer this question to the satisfaction of most people is an exercise in futility.

To do justice to this question we must first agree to the answer to this question:

1)Who/what is God

To some people god is a graven image, to others it is money and power, for others god does not exist, for others, God is the Almighty and most merciful Father who created heaven and earth.

If anyone is truly interested in the answer to this question, please provide your definition of god, and I will provide a quick answer to the OP's question based on that.

For those who do not believe in the existence of God, the answer is trivial, since the question becomes invalid.

I dey wait for una definition.

Your statement: "The only road that links Kaduna to every other state in nigeria." is a bold face lie.

Politics › Re: South-south, South-east Lawmakers Oppose Grazing Bill -Channels TV by nduchucks: 2:25pm On Jul 17, 2016
MadamExcellency:
It requires 66.7% of Lawmakers to be passed into Law and not 50.1%

As it stands, the Middle belt, Southwest, Southeast and South-South are unanimously against it hence the 50.1% is not possible let alone 66.7% required by our constitution.

The bill is dead on arrival and even Kwankwaso knew it but wants to use it to play Northern local politics as he did in Lagos State, bailing and re-settling Mile 12 murderers instead of allowing justice to take its course.
Please try not to misinform your readers by posting blatantly incorrect information.

A bill does not require two-thirds majority vote to become law. Per the constitution, if the bill is passed in the form it was sent to the President by two-third majority, the bill will automatically become law even without the President's signature.

No one expect this bill to be passed by two-third majority.
Politics › Re: South-south, South-east Lawmakers Oppose Grazing Bill -Channels TV by nduchucks: 1:14pm On Jul 17, 2016
This is democracy at play. I understand why some of the SS/SE lawmakers exercised this publicity stunt. At the end of the day, my best guess is that the bill will pass with a narrow margin and this action by the SS/SE lawmakers will give them deniability.

If politicians, from certain areas, who are less prone to be swayed by the usual consideration, the least of which is the almighty dallar, issued this statement, then proponents of the bill should be very concerned.

Oga, you are planning to pay her bride price in a matter of months and she has not yet officially introduced you to this important uncle? You should ask her to take you to this special uncle so that you can express your respect and gratitude for his kindness towards your fiancée.

This should clear things up - you may be worrying about non existent issues.

But come o, why are you planning to marry a woman you do not wholeheartedly trust; has she given you a reason to distrust her? If so, you are not ready for marriage.

I hear you loud and clear. May a woman seat astride you inside a gutter and be pummeling you and putting gutter scum in your mouth for being a gentleman.

I will rather be a wimp by beating down assailants that refuse to be reasonable and ensure that the internet carries me as such than be a 'gentleman' that generations unborn will remember as that man that babes beat inside a gutter. God forbid abomination.

The Net never forgets, i hope you know that.
The smart thing the guy should have done is simply to walk away, which I'm pretty sure he had a chance to do before the escalations.

You are forming tough guy here abi? Wait until your wife who already has 2 children for you and pregnant with twins, slaps you because of hormonal issues - we'll see how tough you'll be then.

There is no excuse for being a wimp. Gender equality will come into play. If you treat me like you are a guy, i will reciprocate in equal measure. I would have dropped them both with only two connections. One collects left fist the other collects right, i walk away as if nothing happened because really nothing happened.
Oga, hitting a woman under the condition described in this thread or any other condition, is the very definition of being a wimp. Sorry to say, you just inadvertently exposed yourself as a wimp.
Politics › Re: Enugu Traditional Rulers Collect Grazing Money From Herdsmen by nduchucks: 8:57pm On Jul 12, 2016
Asked his opinion on how solve the problem, Onwubuya told the panel that as an official of the government, he would be neutral in the matter even while making sure that both the herdsmen and their hosts co-existed peacefully. “All complaints come to me; complaints from the herdsmen. All I’m doing is to ensure a peaceful co-existence between the two parties.”
The bolded is the only sensible goal. Neither the Herdsmen nor the locals will disappear into thin air, and level headed people must find life saving solutions to the herdmen/farmer problem.

These so-called royal fathers who collect hard earned money from the herdsmen, then turn around and prevent them from grazing as agreed to, should not be surprised that the herdsmen respond with violence. Shame on the royal fathers.
