frosbel:They are capturing our territories with impunity and continue to capture our women and children while our armed forces seem impotent and powerless. We need to hit BH very hard, bomb Chad and anywhere they are using as a base. This is unacceptable, the Chibok girls are still missing. What Nonsense!!! |
OMG its true Kano, Nigeria (CNN) -- Boko Haram insurgents kidnapped at least 185 women and children, and killed 32 people in a raid in northeastern Nigeria this week, local officials and residents said.Where was the Army ![]() |
I arrived Florida Keys yesterday and upon waking up this morning, the first report I heard on CNN is that Boko Haram has kidnapped 185 people and killed 32 in Nigeria. Please somebody tell me its not true. |
berem:I'm a bit ignorant on these matters, as I've never encountered any milk while 'addressing' a woman's breasts when she has not recently given birth to a baby. How did these grandmothers miraculously produce bre ast milk? Were they also nursing when their daughters gave birth? It would make sense to hear that the mothers pumped some breast milk for later use and the grandmothers fed the babies that milk. This may the reason why some babies bite their mother's bre asts in protest. |
I'd wait for Buhari's news conference if I were you. nuff said |
The Igbofobia ailment which afflicts many of the posters on this thread has also had an effect on their thinking capabilities. Instead of making cogent arguments in support of, or against the senate action, the justification for their points of view is simply that Anambra is in Igbo land. Bloody racist and tribalists ka ha bu. nansense |

Descartes:Tinubu can have a say, but not the VP slot. |
tit:Showing love to Tinubu in this case is tantamount to giving the clueless one a free pass. |
mikeansy:Unfortunately the current head of the executive branch does not have the chutzpah to do it. |
This issue is very important and should be on the FP, not for the purpose of bashing GEJ but because it is an issue worth discussing. Ngwakwe, wey you o! |
APC's dilemma is how to appease the SW. Given the role played by Tinubu and the SW politicians in building this party, it is not unreasonable for the SW to epect the VP slot. Fashola is really the only candidate with national appeal who could be presented and that poses the Muslim-Muslim dilemma. The announcement of the VP slot is taking this long because the SW is negotiating for some very powerful slots within the new government before ceeding the VP slot to another region. If a good agreement cannot be reached from the SW's point of view, they will Present Fashola and APC will take the risk. If on the other hand, SW gets what it is currently negotiating for (a very tall order), then the VP will be the skelewu dancer, Amaechi. I personally do not believe that Buhari and others will agree to the demands of the SW, so Fashola may emerge. The good news is, this time around, APC will remain intact - Tinubu is not going to be flown to Abuja for talks with GEJ, the way it was done the last time around. ![]() |
^^ They continue to take us for fools. GEJ continues to disappoint even his most passionate supporters. |
Anyone who believes that DailyTimes will be honoured with the announcement of Buhari's running mate ahead of TheNation, Channels, and other media outlets if full of bad fufu. In the meantime we've heard rumours that Amaechi was selected, then chatters that it would be Oshiomole, now its Osinbajo's turn. The only one not yet rumoured to have been selected is ........I leave the rest to your imagination. It wouldn't be long now... ![]() |
Sooner or later, people will find out that they cannot drink oil and their laziness of not learning how to develop other income earning skills willl continue to do them no good. Insha Allah, oil will drop to $30 per barrel before all is said and done. |

Nigeria's economic crisis may not affect GEJ because the effect is not yet pronounce. What will affect his re-election include his failure to checkmate BH, his presiding over war crimes, his love for thieves and the theft of those around him. Nigerians are tired of this man. He is not fit to rule us. |
I hope the supreme court will do the right thing and rid us of this administration. The fact is that there is no rprovision in pour constitution for serving longer than 8 years in office, period! Any other person in Aso rock would do. |

nwanne m, Mrs. Tambuwal is sitting pretty whichever way it goes. Not only that, both Tambuwal and Ambassador Wali are sitting even prettier! That extended family will rule Sokoto state whichever way it goes. For a minute I thought Tambuwal's real name was Tambuchukwuemeka because this kind of connie connie is typical of our brothers from another mother, down yonder. ![]() |
The fact of the matter is, 99% of those who are admitted into these colleges successfully complete the program. These cut off points are designed to remove the prejudices built into the process. How many people from Zamfara participate in the design of the exams? |
Another sourceless, cooked up story by the usual suspects. |
Everyone except some ignorant goons knew that the confab as constituted by GEJ was simply a charade to siphon millions of naira out of our coffers. The output of this charade of a confab cannot be implemented outside of NASS. As a practical matter, we are yet to implement the amendments to the constitution, much less the output of the confab. It pains me to see how ignorant the supposedly educated NL electorate is. The North, East, West, or South is free to oppose anything it deems is against its best interest. The real battle will take place in the NASS. This tactic of attempting to divide the electorate along ethnic lines, is old and ineffective. GEJ and his goons are well advised to focus on issues in their campaign. Thankfully, in 2 months, it will be all over. Attorney General Lai Mohammed needs to start preparing charges against well known obvious thieves running amok. Those criminals should be apprehended right after the elections. |
Funny story. Are they planning to sail to Maiduguri in order to bomb BH? Which war is this goat preparing amphibious vehicles to fight. Wait 'till Attorney General Lai Mohammed puts these fools in jail after 2015. |
As of now, all Buhari supporters belong to the same family of interest groups, so lets put our personal grievances aside and spend our energy on defeating PDP. Afam nwanne m, nothing do you. You are most welcomed into the fold. Its time to think outside the box and take the risk.

robinsoncrosoe:oga, Patience didn't have an accent problem, but a grammatical one. abeg waka go. |
Billyonaire:I forgive you for making me laugh. ![]() |
Mogidi:What does education have to do with an accent, which is what you people are complaining about. You forget that the British have their own, so do Scottish, and Americans. Do you send them to school to get rid of the accents? I hope you now see how narrow minded your stance is. |
Billyonaire:hmmmm, if you are ashamed of Buhari's accent, as opposed to his grammer, wisdom in his statements, or lack of coherence in his statements, then I'm sorry to say that you are a self-hating, narrow minded bigot with peanut sized brain. |
