Tinubu's sweeping policies have hit Nigerians hard, but many don't even understand the dire situation faced by Northerners, particularly NE and NW. For a region that has always enjoyed subsidy in almost everything, from fuel, to education, electricity, health etc. what is happening now may lead to famine and chaos. This region is already the world's worst performing in terms of maternal mortality, extreme poverty, infant mortality, illitracy, insecurity, under 5 mortality, out of school children, pervasive malnutrition etc.

Consider the facts below:

1. Fuel 500 in South & 700 in North post fuel subsidy.

2. From free/cheap electricity to very expensive electricity post power sector subsidy.

3. From dirt cheap tertiary education to paying hundreds of thousands post educational subsidy.

4. There was inadequate health facilities and low patronage during health subsidy so I wonder how the situation will be post health sector subsidy.

If Southerners are complaining bitterly then you can only imagine the crises that is about to hit Northern Nigeria. Unfortunately, most of them don't even understand how gloomy things are for them except few of their educated elite like Sanusi Lamido.

So, I ask, would Northern Nigeria survive Tinubu's extreme capitalist economy?

Lagos is the land of corporate job opportunities he won't regret it if he comes to Lagos.

BUT, when he arrives, so he won't be a financial burden to his friend, he will need to first grab any reasonable employment that can help him keep body and soul together (most likely Customer Service jobs contract or not) while he search for a better job opportunities. If he chooses to be dependent on his friend, he's bound to be surprised in the wrong way.

He should aim at jobs within Surulere, Yaba, Ikeja, Maryland, etc but no where beyond Ikoyi and Obalende on the Island. He will quickly get stressed out if he accepts jobs in V.I, Lekki and Ajah, but if the pay is worth it, he shouldn't go beyond V.I.

He should understand that Lagos doesn't sleep, so he might have to leave home 5:30am if his job location is far.

While staying with his friend, he should learn budgeting and stick to it.
Let's say he's working at Yaba and living in Surulere, his transportation expense is 800naira, and he buys food of 600, that's 1,500 daily, so he can budget 2k as his daily expense. Alternatively, if he and the friend can corporate, they can be contributing money to cook and take food to work, so he won't spend as much as 600naira to buy food outside.

In his budget, he should try to save let's say about 17k - 20k monthly so he can rent his own apartment. I mean a room in a face me I face you, for about 6k - 8k monthly, with total package of 184 - 220k (with agreement and commission). If he's seeking comfort, he will need to have at least 500k for total package of a room self contained (250k rent per annum

This same Adaojo Victor has once advertised OPENLY on one of his threads that hit FP that he has FRSC job slots to fill and that interested persons should hit him up but they should also be ready to "settle" him inorder to get the so-called job. Now, imagine he made that offer vague and then told you PRIVATELY that you will have to grease his palms (which is what an actual sleazy government official trying to sell government job slots to total strangers will likely do). Your inbuilt Nigerian scam radar will start to beep. You'd rather go with the guy who was audacious because you'll naturally believe that he wont have the audacity to put that out in the open if it wasn't genuine.

Although I can tell you for free that his audacity is not on purpose.
