Seun:

Don't ask him for "gifts". Ask him for non-monetary gifts like love notes, special phone calls, et cetera. Just ask. wink

Seun,
And for the "love of God"  what am I supposed to do with those?? . Last time I checked, Tiffany's, Bloomingdales, Lord & Taylor et al weren't accepting love notes nor its cousins,
Romance / Re: Should I Give This Woman Beater A Second Chance? by neelsel(f): 1:08am On May 10, 2007
Sorry my a$$. Once a woman beater, always a woman beater, My advice to you is to run like a fugitive. Don't allow any man to subject you to such inhumane treatment all in the name of LOVE.

If someone LOVES you, he would do everything in his powers to protect you. Abuse of any kind is not acceptable and should never be tolerated.

Better to be termed according to you "childish n cold" than CHEAP. Keep your opinion to yourself, don't attempt to push it down my throat, Ta Ta.

IBDat:

Soz - but 2 years is a damn longtime not to buy anything for yo girl! - Even if he was broke he can make or barter sumthin.
I wouldn't do that and yes i do buy my girl things not only for b'days, vals n Xmas but also off-the-cuff.
If i see soething that i know she would like, i would like on her or that we can both enjoy - it's really not an issue and vice-versa.

@topic,
Ignorance is indeed a curse. Explain to me how does giving someone your number translates to being cheap .

For crying out loud, it's just an exchange of some harmful digits, not body fluids,

That's why I enjoy and take liberty of distributing numbers that belong to various institutions in around the Tri state area. So if and when the fools believe that they have gotten one on me, their ego suddenly gets crush when the person on the other end of the line picks up and answers " Thank you for calling Kings County Hospital, if you know the extention of your party dial it now, or wait for futher instructions"  ROFLMAO!!!!!
Romance / Re: Would You Want To Know If Your Partner Is Cheating? by neelsel(f): 5:09pm On May 09, 2007
Two can play that game cheesy grin,

Ok. on a more serious note though, this seem to be an every growing problem. It still infuriates me when society literally excuses men for cheating blaming it on genetics, norms, practices and host of other things.

I strongly believe that men who cheat lack something essential and need to seek professional help. I would NEVER adhere to or tolerate such behaviours, and advise anyone caught in this despictable dilemma to get out as soon as possible. In the end it's your sanity that should matter most and not what society glorifies as acceptable behaviour.

@ Neelsel

Honey, you're one big nut to be cracked . . but please rest your tools. I beg of you please please, you've been here a long time and i know you're not a bad seed as it may seem but please forget and lets call it a new day. I love you too!!

Now when I have people speaking out of both sides of their mouths it really irritates the hell out of me.  Neelsel doesn't speak with water in her mouth, neither does she aims to please in order to gain "friends".  If you do or say something inappropriate she is quick to point that out without fear or favour.  So for ALL who interpret that as being a "bad seed" can go to hell for all I care.

And once again, I came; I saw, thus I have separated genuine associates from pretentious bitches,  and I am leaving now without any apologies,   Duty calls,

Romance / Re: Why Do Men Run Away From Educated Women? by neelsel(f): 9:35pm On May 08, 2007
@Red_lips, loving that quote grin

@Topic,
From experience most men, not ALL, seem to be threatened by educated women. I have personally heard friends of mine state, without fear or favour, that their wives would never be someone who have achieve academically more then themselves. This is termed as the highest form of ignorance.

It is a fact that, men in all their wisdom feel more competent in relationships where they hold the bargining chip so to speak. So it is no surprize that they strongly adhere to the unwritten rule that they must posses physical, emotional, educational and psychological control over their women, thus the need for them to shy away from strong educated female,

I also believe that men who are guilty of such practices suffer from some form of psychological defect, They have self esteem issues as well as, the nature vs Nuture syndrome may be at work here.

Well,
Seun banned me without a reason, thus I had no choice but to create another username. cry cry
1. His creation of Nairaland was a great idea, however, you need to relax and run your own show,  Don't allow nonentities like Sisimose to ruin the forum,

2. He can be arrogant at times,

3. Seems rather bias towards the ladies

ps. I will be back if and when I think of any other things, ( if I am not banned,  AGAIN)

(you get the picture?) [s]and he was clutching her hand like he was scared she was going to escape. hehehehe[/s].

AwWWWWW!!
Was waiting for you so that we could have raised "hell" up in here, Your absence enabled me to spend time reading one mad woman's rants in another thread, Sisimose is trying to make a bat out of her stupidity, As I told her before, only a dumb monkey wouldn't know who Sisi ho or Tattletale is,
Still not sure why she keeps on acussing others,

The truth is many girls are too shy to eat around their boyfriends, especially if it's a "first boyfriend" thingy.

So don't beat yourself up, maybe with time she would eventually become more comfortable around you and the issue of accepting edibles won't be an issue anymore,

Best of luck!!

They are trying to change it but it is unlikely, some guy will come on here and post professing his love for white women and the "lying dogs will no longer lay" and the thread will be set a blaze again.

Thank God you are here. Where is Spoilt and Cute Ass?  And missing Davidylan and Ikomi as well.

As soon as they are found, buzz me. so we can resume where we left off cheesy cheesy
Nairaland / General / Re: Whose 'Look-alike' Are You? by neelsel(f): 11:22pm On May 07, 2007
@Sisimose,
So I see you have done it AGAIN,  Your mouth got you into yet another pot of hot water.  Girl let it be, I tried warning you on numerous occassions that Sisi-ho, sisi-stingy, and all the other sisi's were names used to humiliate you for your obvious dysfunctional demeanor. And YES, they were all different individuals,  Individuals whom you rattled on without any merit.

Please quit this demeaning decorium,it is sickening. STOP picking fights then running to the Admin, it is NOT that serious.

If only you would change your disposition, then you and others would get along,but until you desist from this "slavish" mentality, the running of Nairaland would forever be chaotic.

Now I suggested earlier on that reading is a great way to spend your spare time. PLEASE read, it developes the mind, and remember a Mind is a terrible thing to waste.

PS. Even a bat knows who Sisi-ho and Tattle tale is
Dating And Meet-up Zone / Re: Wifey Material Gettin Scarce For London by neelsel(f): 8:45pm On May 07, 2007
@Davidylan,
There is a thin line between cantakerous and confidence,  Every black woman, well those that I know, wants to know that they have a voice and won't be taken for a ride by their men.
Unfortunately, I can ONLY speak for myself. I know what I would tolerate and what I won't in a relationship, and subjection and oppression are just 2 of those traits.

@Mayor
Attitude among women is universal, especially at that time of the month, so please spare me.  Having said that, the truth is black women tend be "strong headed" and would hold out until they get what they want, without compromising who they are,

I shall be back, can't keep Dr. T waiting cheesy
