Whn i talk am say new advert go come up 4 NIS according 2 my agent, some ppl say make i pack well,nw evidence don show, mollode: The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) said on Monday that victims of the botched March 15 recruitment would be employed after a fresh exercise.
Mr Chukwuemeka Obua, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the service, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.
On March 15 the service conducted a nationwide recruitment that claimed the lives of some applicants while several others were injured due to a stampede in some centres.
Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, has announced in a statement on March 15 the setting up of a committee to assist the Paramilitary Board in conducting a fresh exercise.
The statement said the committee would liaise with the board to confirm the actual number of personnel to be recruited and assist in re-advertising the recruitment with a view to starting the process afresh.
It said the committee would also assist the board by processing the applications, short-listing potential candidates and conducting the necessary interviews for the purpose of the exercise.
The committee was to ensure that three family members of each of the deceased applicants, at least one of whom should be a female, and those injured, were given immediate and automatic employment in the service.
The committee was given 12 weeks to complete its assignment.
Obua said that although the date for the fresh exercise was yet to be fixed, the committee which had Mr David Parradang, the Comptroller-General of the Service as member, was working tirelessly to ensure a hitch free exercise.
“The committee is more transparent and is currently working out modalities for a fresh exercise.
“I have been contacted to draft advertorials to inform suitable applicants who wish to partake in the exercise,” he said.
He said that applicants of the botched recruitment who wished to partake in the fresh exercise must apply again as the President had cancelled the March 15 exercise.

So u can't develop urself n ur husband house, wat of u clock 30 n d process of developing urself.my point here s ,if husband come early ,embrace d opportunity, unless otherwise.u can b n marriage and stil pursue ur goals, freecocoa: I think its due to the fact that most of them don't have goals or maybe na marriage be their goals.
Seriously most girls see marriage as an escape route, I say this cos there was a time I was very depressed, seemed to me like nothing was working and I started thinking getting married would somehow ease it all by keeping me busy, now I've grown and realized that life doesn't begin and end in marriage.
Develop yourself, have something and marriage will be fisi. |

As i wrote n my last post dat d issues b/wn HOR and immigratn stuff had been settled, surprisingly HOR invited moro again on thursday concerning d issue,.@vicope and others,u guys are right abt d meeting on thursday, many issues abt job racketing were discussed @ dat meeting as u guys mentioned, but my attentn was on issue abt immigratn.d news was on ait on friday 12:00noon.from d questns they were asking abba moro, unbelievable, evrytin centered on money they realise 4rm dat recruitment, abba even told them dat d money s still n d custody of d consultant, which s meant 4 admistratv purpose, they also ask abt hw much immigratn realise 4rm dat recruitmnt.,which abba refuse 2 tell them, that s why they decided 2 SUSPEND d PROBE, nt d RECRUITMENT.@ vic d honorable was nt lying,he only didn't told u dat it was a suspension of probe nt recruitmnt.as 4 d letter,in my last post,i told peeps dat runs are smelling evrywhere in immigratn, thank God u confirmed it wit ur eyes,i don't post wat i didn't see,i dey Abuja too.i knw most of d tins dat s going on n dat ministry, but if i post at times some ppl no dey blv,so my ppl ,HOR s nt fighting 4 us abt d 1k,but abt geting their share 4rm d money dat's all.recruitment s nt suspended, but d probe is, until further hearing.HOR their own na to probe, they can't stop d recruitment,it s only president and ministry of interior dat can do so.so test s loading....but na just formalities.in God i put my trust. vicope: Concerning this immigration recruitment, I seriously do not know what to believe anymore. On thursday, I was at the office of a certain Honorable member till late evening (around 7pm). At the time of leaving the assembly complex, the NSCDC CG, Abolurin was also leaving at the same time. I however realized that both Immigrations, Prisons and Civil Defence bosses were all present at NASS that day. When I asked the Honorable I went to see (a member of House Commitee on Interior) about what was going on.....he just told me the recruitment has been suspended. I am still in doubt of how true this could be, because on that same thursday, while at the assembly complex (HoR wing), I came across a friend who works as a secretary to another Honorable member. He was taking a letter to the chairman, house commitee on interior (Hon Pategi)........and in that letter were names of candidates recommended for employment in NIS (their names, their application number, preferred state of exam, and email address were all included in that letter). The surprising thing though is that in that letter, 30 names were sent but only 2 chose FCT as their preferred state of exam, 28 chose a state in the north central.
If truly the recruitment has been suspended as the Honorable said, why are they still sending request letters to NIS? I tried listening to the news on thursday evening for any possible confirmation or reason for why those paramilitary chiefs were at the national assembly till that time but nothing was said on the news...............
And truly, that test we are waiting for is nothing but a charade as the real list is already been compiled already.
Let's still hope on God for the best. |

Thanks sunny3kng: Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional Pastor Anita Oyakhilome It Begins From Your Spirit Friday November 15th, 2013
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.(Proverbs 4:23)
Often in the scriptures, heart is used in lieu of spirit and the reason is clear. Just as the physical heart is the operational centre of the human body, so also the spirit is the controlling centre of human existence. Everything about your life actually originates from your spirit. Success or failure, wealth or poverty, excellence or mediocrity will emanate from a man's spirit.
Your mind is the door to your spirit. That's why whatever words and thoughts you allow to go through your mind, unchecked, will be deposited in your spirit. This is the reason you have to sift what goes through your mind to your spirit. Every day, we hear words, see things, and receive all kinds of information, positive and negative alike. You're required to mount guard on your heart and not allow your spirit receive and process the wrong information.
If, for example, you heard that there's trouble in the economy or that recession is setting in, and there's hardship everywhere, don't be perturbed, because you're not of this world. Refuse to process such negative information; don't dwell on it. Rather, you should say, "I refuse to fret or be anxious, because I function in the realm of superabundance. I'm an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. I function above the economies and economics of this world."
If you give wrong thoughts access into your heart, they'll instil fear in you. So, keep vigilant watch over your heart. Embrace only thoughts of success, victory, health, prosperity, happiness and fulfilment that come from God's Word. PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for your Word that gives me the right information to think and meditate upon; your Word continually finds its home in my heart, is effectual and effective in me, and produces everything it talks about, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
