13. President Goodluck Jonathan’s own men from his place will fight him.

14. Igbos should forget about presidency.

15. In 2015, an opposition will lose, PDPD will fail.

16. I see the crisis in PDP widening more and more.

17. A yoruba movie actor to die surprisingly.

18. A year judgment for politicians and wicked leaders.

19. There will be scarcity of money in 2013, but food will be in abundance.

20. Chief of Defence Staff to be retired.

28. Alhaji Aliko Dangote will have issues.

29. Central Bank of Nigeria’s governor will be made an Emir, but he needs prayers.

30. MTN needs prayers.

31. Massive retrenchment in Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN), but prayers needed to avert it.

32. I see something happening in a foreign country ( natural disaster) and people could not fly in or out of that nation for days.

33. Nigerian Music entertainer Tuface Idibia will face blackmail and scandal.

34. Hon. Aminu Tambuwal ( Speaker) should not contest for presidency. If he goes for governorship, he will win.

4. You go to the market and ask a seller where u can get a particular product, because they don't have it...they tell you no one sells it around here...(meanwhile their neighbour has it in stock)

Thats one reason i love Hausa Traders. Majority of them dont do that. I once met a trader who told me his bulbs were fake and genuine ones were out of stock in his shop. when i asked if they were genuine. He directed me to the next shop to buy them. Very rare guesture among other traders.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Any Successful Dangote Graduate Driver Here? Pls Narrate Your Ordeal by nellybadas: 11:17am On Jul 21, 2013
playah P: Its been months since the "dangote graduate driver" opportunity came up.

Did any member of nairaland get the job??
Do you know anyone that got the job??

I don't know anyone that got the job!... Was it even real? Or was it just a ploy to spite the nigerian educational system and fan his ego...

I can imagine him saying something like this;"I never went to school but I've hired so many graduates; even my truck drivers are graduates"........

Please if you got the job or know someone that did get the job... Or even someone that knows someone that got the job!... Please do come share with us.
What has the experience being so far??

Was it up to expectation?

FYI Dangote is a graduate. He studied in an Egyptian university. Always be sure of your comment before posting.

drake2005: To all Gullible Nigerians out there...NOBODY BECOMES A BILLIONAIRE (GLOBAL BILLIONAIRE) WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF THE GLOBALISTS and INTERNATIONAL BANKERS....THOSE THAT CONTROL THIS WORLD WE LIVE IN. Meaning, you( the billionaire aka Dangote) has pledged and sworn to an oath to carry out their agenda or risk losing every kobo. You people really have to study deeply to understand how this world is run. Dangote doesn't give a shit about you; all these donations are done for a reason.
At least he gave something. What do you have to say about our leaders who are ripping the poor masses of their right to basic amenities. Focus on those who swore an oath to serve you and are ripping you off.

ifihearam:

You were actually making sense until i came across the bolded, then i realised how childish you are.

it may interest you to know that since GEJ ventured into politics he has never lost,on the other hand Buhari is a serial loser.

Buhari has been failing ever since he was a military head of state,so my boy go back and dream again,Buhari is too insignificant to make GEJ lose the forthcoming election and now almustapha is out he will be used as a tool to divide the north against buhari, south south is already secured, south west are just ranting they will eventually give in to GEJ,trust yoruba na,south east once we throw "ghana must go"they have no option than to co-operate,what else do you expect. tongue tongue tongue tongue tongue tongue

After you criticized the initial post by telling him how childish he is. i read your post and discovered you are even sillier than i thought. i guess common sense is not common. Naturally i expect you would insult me for this and i promise not to reply you. but i.m sorry. Truth is bitter. You are truly very silly. please learn more about politics so you would know more about the game. Mr Adult.

Okija_juju: ..@ OP THE BIBLE EXPLAINS IT WELL IN THE BOOK OF PROVERBS 22:6 Train up a child in the way he shoud grow, and when he is old, he will never depart from it. What you are seeing is the result of upbringing. Its easier to train a child than to repair an Adult

Religion to Nigerians is not so much abouts its content, but about an identity. A girl who spent all Saturday night in the club or even having sex with her boyfriend/aristo will wake up by 7am, have her bath, dress up and she is in church. That Muslim chap that hides his alcohol inside his prayer kettle would do his Abulution and head for the Mosque on friday. Its now a part of what they do. It has no real meaning to them. Thats why a convicted felon would go straight from the prisons to a church for thanksgiving.

Immorality is very high in Nigeria right now, corruption, crime and all sorts of vices.. Yet every Sunday, the churches are filled to capacity.

To the Rich/upper middle-class Nigerians, Church is nothing but a social gathering where they can come into contact with the poor and subconciously oppress them. Thats why its easier for a rich man to see the pastor than it is for a Poor Church Usher to even enter the Pastors office, let alone see him. They dont pray as hard as the poor, they come late and leave early, they get choice seats in church, they get special invites to every occasion and the pastor always answers their calls personally. This classonly attend church on SUNDAYS!!

To the lower-middle class/independent enterprenuers, Church is nothing but another avenue to meet potential clients. These ones get access to the pastors, but not as easily as the rich folks. They can get a Pastor to pray for them, but cant get a pastor to come to their houses. This class would attend Church on Sundays abd are always at house-fellowships (as this is where they c=get to interact with the rich).

The Poor, To them, Church represents hope. This class are the most dedicated members of the church. they sweep the church, they make up over 75% of the churches workers, they are very loyal to the pastors, they pray the hardest, loudest and longest. They are the first to arrive in church and the last to leave. To them, they really do believe that if you pray hard enough, manna will fall from the skies. They are the most committed. This class can never see the pastor at will. Infact, they will be lucky if they can get the pastors number let alone speak to him one on one. They come to church every sunday hoping for a miracle. They dress their best but always come short. They eat at the feet of the rich & upper middle class who use them as they like.

The Politicians need religion for control. They use it for election purposes and to keep the masses under control. A christian wouldnt kill a Politician that is stealing him blind because of religion. And he is so shackled bythe religion that he cant even fight the system, so he prays to God for a solution to a problem that is within his control.

Religion is not important to Nigerians, its now a habit.
MAY ALMIGHTY GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR POST. YOU HAVE SAID EVERYTHING. THE HYPOCRACY IS JUST TOO MUCH. MOST RELIGIOUS PEOPLE. YET MOST CORRUPT...SMH

Whoever criticizes this move by GEJ, is not fit to post a comment in life. Bombings were taking place, they were complaining he's too slow, he's lame, he has no heart. Now he declares a state of emergency so the military can clamp down on the situation. som people are still complaining. for God sake what else do you want the man to do?!!! This is the best decision he can take as of now.
its amazing how nigerians behave, its not like GEJ inherited a country that had no challenge at all. Mind u i never voted for him, but we have to support him. i was amazed some days ago, when i read someone's comment sayin,'' he missed Abacha!'' Nigerians are truly unbelievable. let me categorically state that the current issue in this country is completely political. if only we nigerians can look beyond our noses. the aim of the pepetrators is to make it religious n its clearly working. for once people, STOP, THINK, BEFORE YOU ACT. Happy new year
