I was running late for a meeting this morning at Oyigbo in Rivers State. Because of the bad nature of the road to Oyibo,i decided to join to a commercial bus.

I was already on call before the C4i checkpoint after toll gate. All of a sudden i was hearing some banging on the bus, and the policeman shouting "Driver Clear Well"

I didn't even i know i was the reason for the parking until some passengers told me to end the call. I asked why, they said we were being parked because i making call. See me see trouble ooo. I told them i cannot cut on the person calling me. Na so, i finish my call jejely.

After a while the policeman came and said i should come down, that i should handover my phone to him. First word that came out of my mouth was "It's my personal property and he has no right to cease my phone" Na so fear catch am.

He went to call their commander, and the man came and said i should identify myself. I told him I'm a Nigerian. He asked why i was i making calls? I told him i didn't know it was offence to make calls at police checkpoints.

He said i was proving stubborn. How nah? Before i could say a word, one of them gave me a slap (E hot shaa) from behind and dragged me to their small office. I swear i wanted to react but held myself, and told him i am leaving him because he's on uniform. He was wearing jacket which covered his name and his number. I was trying to get his name, and he noticed and buttoned the jacket.

The commander finally came and said i should give him my phone. I told him i have to lock the phone first because of the confidential stuffs i have. He agreed and allowed me to lock the phone. I pleaded to make a call or send a text, he said if i try it, that he will shoot me. Omo, na there i come calm down before my sad story will grace front page on Nairaland. Rivers state too hot, abegi!

Someone (who i suspect to be a military officer on mufti) i didn't even know stopped and demanded to know what was my offence. He told them he saw the way i was being dragged and that i look so gentle.

Las Las, he pleaded on my behalf and asked the commander to give me my phone back. The man gave me a lift to Oyigbo and said next time, i should just say "Sorry" and move on.

NOW, IS THERE ANY WRITTEN NIGERIAN LAW BANNING MAKING OF CALLS AT POLICE CHECKPOINTS?

I have been married for 5 years now and we have a son. My husband who is about 40 is really confusing me to be sincere.

We live in an estate where everyone minds his/her business and my husband is a business man so most times he will be at home while I go my boutique where I sell fashion outfits.

It so happened that I came home quite early that day and saw my husband in the sitting room with a secondary school girl on uniform, nothing was happening then so I welcomed her and asked my husband who she was, he replied that her parents stay in this estate but they moved abroad and that she will Join them soon but wants to finish her school first.

Actually mere looking at this girl I was not comfortable because she was very very pretty and quite busty and then to worsen it all, her uniform was so short. Well, I just told myself that she is too young to try anything funny.

Funny enough I realized that on several occasion when I will be returning from the shop, the girl will be coming out of our compound and she will greet me Innocently. I confronted my husband but he kept saying she is just fond of us and our family and that she needs a family so she wont be lonely.

One lucky day, I decided to return home very very early without telling my husband but I ensured that schools have closed. That was the day I saw this girl pant down with my husband. They did not know I was around, I did not knock, I just opened the room window and snapped them then came to the door and knocked.

I and my husband had a strong quarrel that day because I was about to use a turning stick to break her head. As I speak now its over 2 weeks now, I have not seen my husband neither have I seen the girl too in the estate.

Please help me, its a secondary school girl that wants to snatch my husband from me.

Hello guys..so, I would be going for a change of institution on my jamb portal soon(in a matter of hours),but I find it hard to choose between UNILAG and LASU...I just need advice on which to go for. The following need to be put into consideration...

1) Environment- this is the most important of all because I plan on Living outside the school premises, so I don't want a place littered with criminals and crime..

2) socialisation- I'm not a social person at all. in fact, I am a cold blooded introvert. So I want a place where I can make good friends easily and also explore outside my comfort zone..

3) availability of affordable housing- i also need a place that offers affordable rent outside school premises.....


So, my fellow nairalanders, please help a brother out...

I was just thinking that Israel Goodnews Balogun will just tender an apology for calling me a Criminal but rather, he escalated everything and got too many people and lawyers involved.

Balogun is my brother and I don't want to appear at the Court against my fellow Christian brother but for that Miracle Money Service and Teleporting my Spiritual son from Germany to France, the court cannot order me to prove it rather they should go and question the holy spirit that directed me because I don't take any action without the instructions of the holy spirit.

I have tried to call Balogun and his team to settle with them without going to court but they have refused to even give me a listen hear.
