Crime / Re: Deeper Life Pastor, Tunde, Commits Suicide In Ogun After Being Duped by nep2ra(m): 4:50pm On Sep 02, 2019
rentAcock:
The pastor did not practice what he preached. Suicide is a direct ticket to hell. He took his life because he couldn't bear the shame of being sacked and now losing everything, but with life there's hope. You are only a failure if after falling you don't dust up yourself and stand again. He has only made matters worse, who will carter for his wife and kids?

Did you commit suicide in your previous existence with hell as your punishment?

The way you Christians jump to conclusions boggle the mind.

Do you realize mental health is not treated with the urgency and seriousness it requires in Nigeria?

This is a country that prays to God without ceasing.

Infact it is the spiritual headquarters of all things related to God.

Its citizens are well versed in Divine mysteries and revelations.

What a God-forsaken country.

Politics / Re: Rivers State Residents Decry Deplorable Roads by nep2ra(m): 8:55pm On Aug 10, 2019
The average Nigerian and to a large extent, the average black man has the I.Q of a fruit fly.

He knows nothing about development hence his inability to build and maintain quality infrastructure.

All he knows is food, sex, violence, dancing, singing and practicing foreign religions.

Can the black man ever build and maintain infrastructure?

I'm beginning to think the average black man has an I.Q lower than that of an ape.

You are also doing Lagos a favour

Hating Lagos is good for the development of Lagos

In fact Many people need to be chase away from Lagos

People like you in Lagos is not good for Lagos

When I lived in Nigeria, I hated living in Lagos so much.

I had the opportunity to stay with my friend in Bodija, Ibadan during semester breaks.

I absolutely loved it.

During my NYSC, I lived in Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State. I enjoyed the peace, fresh air and tranquility.

Going back to Lagos made me feel depressed.

The sooner people living in Lagos realize it's nothing but a slum, the better for them and the State as well.

There is an insane competition for scare resources and the pollution and overcrowding is not worth it.

What's the hype about Lagos?

Staying away from Lagos means you are doing Lagos a favour

I'm doing my life a great favour by not stepping into Lagos.

What a horrible, terrible city to live it.

I hate it with all my being.

Is this the mega city they shout about?

We pursue women BUT on our own terms.

We will not fall for the scam anymore. We are free to be men. Free from the bondage of Westernized marriages and relationships.

Travel / Re: Lagos Traffic- Life Inside The World's Worst Traffic Jam by nep2ra(m): 2:54pm On Aug 03, 2019
Why would any sane person want to live in Lagos?

Our problems are largely self-inflicted. We suffer needlessly because we fail to engage the power of the Mind and use our critical thinking skills.

Why should Lagos be overpopulated when other South-West States can be developed?

Why shouldn't there be an efficient rail system linking all South West states so someone living in Ogun State can take a high speed rail to work in Lagos?

Why should people continue to chase the non-existent golden fleece in Lagos?

The black man has a long way to go intellectually and developmentally.

The black man is unthinking and lacks foresight.

The black man is not visionary and doesn't see an urgency in the need to develop in all areas.

The black man doesn't value time and the dignity, welfare of human and animal life.

The black man has many problems he is not willing to use his thinking faculties to solve.

The trend hunters will grab this incident now and turn it to something else

Inasmuch as I condemn the senator for his show of shame and stupidity, I think he has apologized and I am certain sense will not make him repeat it a second time

What he needs to do now is compensate the lady he assaulted and personally apologize to her

Some of us may have done worse so we shouldn't be quick to condemn
He is a human too

No doubt he overreacted. And he is foolish for doing such, I can't imagine myself being so foolish to act in that manner...but the deed has been done...he has come out to man up to his stupid actions and should do the needful

He deserves a second chance...and if he is wise he will use this as a medium to push the women rights cause in the Senate

Those calling for his head should cast the first stone if they are without sin

Nuff said

He committed an offence worthy of prosecution.

He should be charged to court and prosecuted.

That's the only way he would learn.

No sentiments here.

You have point

But people like you are the ones giving us bad name yet you dont know it

Always screaming at the top of your voice and accepting the negative tag. Statements like this from fellow Nigerians also ruin the reputation of the country.

We are far from the worst people in the world neither are we the most hated. No dey accept tags. All this ranting wont help. If you want a change then mobilise people near you and start a protest. No be to come online dey cast your country. There are foreigners here reading this comments too

Seriously?

Did you just write "...If you want a change then mobilise people near you and start a protest..."?

What exactly does a protest achieve?

If we want true and lasting change, we should take a critical look at ourselves and speak truth to power. We are a nation of wrong values and poor ethics.

I live in the United Kingdom and I experience first hand the reaction I get when I introduce myself as a Nigerian.

No need sugar coating the obvious fact. Majority of Nigerians are criminally minded, dishonest people due to the wrong values we have adopted over the years.

Serves Nigerians right.

We are an unrepentant criminally minded people.

We are known globally for fraud, deceit, criminal activities and dishonesty.

We are inching towards winning the award for the most despised and hated humans on the face of the Earth.

Until we embrace and practice new values and ethics our extinction is imminent.
