St.Ola:
The same people praying that God should channel the millions and billions through them to erect this edifice have never said such prayers when they see people in need of funds for a heart or kidney operation. The most they would utter is "what a pity! or God why?"

As most have unknowingly revealed from their posts of their true intentions for such church donations, it is law of sowing, and as such it is to satisfy their greed to reap returns. Therefore the girl with the heart condition in Luth appealing to Gov Obi of Anambra can not expect anything tangible from these manner of Christians, she is not Christ nor is she the church they falsely reason, and the parable of the Lord at judgement and those who fed/clothed/haboured the least of their brothers means nothing to these carnal generation.

How many of these potential billionaire/millionaire donors are ready to give same huge amounts 4 a charitable cause where reward is only obtainable in heaven?
How many are owing their employees salary and bonuses, depriving the labourers of their just wage but willing to expend on structures?
How many have even paid their domestic utility bills and taxes, cheating the government of funds that could be used to provide more for all and sundry, like roads that will lead to this edifice?
How many have only recently replied an indigent relation who needs to take care of a sick child that "things are really tight for me now", yet at daddy G.O's behest are ready to provide millions, even praying to be blessed so as to channel such blessings to a structure? Note that they never prayed to be blessed to help the sick child on TV or a homeless mother with triplets to cater for.

A man who can give N1billion for church structure in hopes of reaping more in returns is a wise investor but a soul-less Christian. I urge henceforth, if there is any among you in need of funds for health or economic issues, you'll be wise to have daddy G.O feature in your TV appeal, he alone knows how to touch the heart of the Nigerian Christian, such that they even pray to be blessed so as to contribute.

May your days be long and fulfilling!

"We are building a 3km long church auditorium to further enhance your spiritual knowledge of God and become a better person. The millions of people that will visit this venue will be agents of change just like years of our preaching has impacted NIGERIA positively. Corruption is on a very rapid decline, people care for one another, the government officials have hearkened to the Word of God and have become better managers of national resources, and the poor among us are well looked after. God bless you as you give" ~ Announcer

lawseph: may the ALMIGHTY GOD forgive those of you that can't bridle there tongue, and may HE be merciful unto us all. See if you're not on the LORD's side, things of GOD are like mystery unto you. Please take this precious advise; ''don't judge others, be it good or bad, try not to destructively criticize anyone, because one day you'll be judge by GOD''

Which 'God'? The Judeo-Christian God, Arab God, Hindu God, Zoroastrian God, Pagan God? Be very clear please. Other Gods out there are not as wicked and corrupt as the God made in your selfish image.

frosbel: I repeat , most people give because they want their money doubled or tripled, they do not give a damn if their neighbour starves to death.

Greed is the main problem in the Nigerian church today.

The bloody hypocrites think they can fool us. God is now a money doubler. Give =N=100 and get =N=10,000 as returns for your 'investment'. Ask any of these greedy imps to give their 'seeds' (I laugh at this word!) to a fellow human being in genuine need and watch as they rain curses on you.

In Nigeria, the motivation for worshiping God is returns of material blessings.

Do you and your guru know about this :

"37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’" - Matthew 25:37-39

They will say anything to justify this daylight robbery. Waste no time arguing with a man-worshiper. When the electricity in his brain is switched on then he will finally begin to use his thinking faculty.

wisdom mos: when the bible said touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm, he meant it in all regards (speech, conversation and others). It is a fearful thing to fall into the hand of the living God.

This is the lie that has been used to brainwash you into submission. Do not read Scripture passages out of context. Study the Bible properly and stop being an unthinking dolt!

Stoopid gullible folks who will fall for anything under the sun. Unfortunately, gigantic church edifices does not translate to spirituality. A country that has at least two churches in one street, yet, the lives of the church goers do not reflect the virtues Christ preached.

They throng to church everyday not because they love God and want to know His ways but because of their greed and selfish ambition. What we have are hypocritical, selfish, man-worshipers who treat God like a vending machine. Slot in =N=100 and get the equivalent in material blessings and protection. What a load of bunkum!!!!

Secular countries who care nothing for God or religion cater for the weak, jobless, disabled and destitute. They provide succor for their citizens because they care for their fellow human beings. What do we have in Nigeria? A religious nation steeped in utter darkness, wickedness and corruption. Your God will judge you. It's amazing who your Jesus will commend for their good works. No, it will not be the church!

The very day 'God' dies in the mind of Nigerians is the day we will begin to use our critical reasoning and thinking faculty. Until then, the madness continues.

Nigerians know the God they worship is non-existent; a figment of their imagination. The God they worship was created in their own selfish and corrupt image that is why they can do as they please. This God bows before Nigerians and panders to their every whim and caprice. God, religion and pretentious piety. It's all a charade. A meaningless show of shamelessness and madness. Welcome to the theater of insanity. You will be entertained. It's a promise.
Politics / Re: Pastor Advice Nigerians To "Emulate Ibori" At His Birthday Thanksgiving by nep2ra(m): 12:43pm On Aug 06, 2013
It's official. Majority of Nigerians worship Mammon and not God. The evidence is all around you.

Poverty has ravaged the minds of Nigerians to an extent that buying a brand new car is seen as a major achievement in Life. The con men called pastors will use this as an opportunity to further enslave the ever gullible, unthinking, congregation into man made doctrines and superstition.

Dude, dedicate nothing and keep away from religious folks who are eager to drag you into the bondage they need to escape from.
