Howard deserves to be commended but I beg to differ that Enyeama is overhyped.Maybe you need to watch him closely.Abeg,enough of Super Eagles joo!!!
donem: Howard made over 17 top saves throughout the match, had it been Enyeama lots of peeps wouldnt have heard word again, due to over hype.

Though they have been winning,Argentina isn't spectacular.The boys have gone home and now is the time for the men to play football.Quality for quality and strenght for strenght.I suggest you dont begin to predict these games as all the teams are capable of beating each other.
Motixsis: Although I do not think Belgium will be Argentina though

Sports › Re: Enyeama's Error Cost Nigeria - Keshi by nerodenero: 12:07am On Jul 01, 2014
It seems like the only thing Keshi is good at is singling out players for baised criticism.Osaze was probably our best player in the Iran match and yet Master of draws said he didnt play to instruction.Now,he is blaming Enyeama for that mistake.Inasmuch as I support that Enyeama made a mistake,the truth is the dude had made too many saves than errors.Keshi should own-up and accept that he has failed on the job.My one kobo!!!

Krasid: Read this carefully and learn nerodenero.

Simple logic, that's why it is called goals(69) per(/) game(60) ratio.And that's how I got my ratios for CR7 and Messi.

Hope you have learnt something today.
CR7=69/60=1.15
Messi=45/46=0.98
What I calculated for Ronaldo was (x = 60/69 = 0.0869)game/goal, that makes me wrong for calculating goal/game and you, correct. It is suppose to be 69/60=1.15goal/game. The calculation for Messi is right, x =45/46 = 0.9782goal/game. You WIN and I accept the defeat.
Sports › Re: AFRICAN GALATICOS by nerodenero: 1:28pm On Jan 10, 2014
To say Drogba was placed third best and not in Africa Galaticos is seriously appalling on the part of CAF Aside John Obi Mikel, Kwadwo Asamoah and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who plays for Chelsea, Juventus and Dortmund respectively, many African players plays for average teams or bottom teams in Europe. This is clearly bad for African football.
Sports › Re: FIFA Ballon D'or: Who Is Your Favourite? by nerodenero:
Krasid: Are you okay, which mathematics are you talking about?

Ronaldo's goal per game ratio= 1.15
Messi's goal per game ratio= 0.98

What else do you want to know?
Must you attach insult because you want to drive home your point. Two insult from two submissions{@the bolded above and below]!!! Na wa for you.
Krasid: You must have been watching the back of your television
Olodo buruku!!!
Goal per game for Ronaldo =
69 goals = 60 games
1 goal = x
x = 60/69 = 0.0869
Goal per game for Messi =
45 goals = 46 games
1 goal = x
x = 45/46 = 0.97

Krasid: How did Messi outshine Ronaldo in 2013? You must have been watching the back of your television, because from what I know Ronaldo scored more goals(69) than Messi(45) and Ribery(23) combined.Now that's what I call individual brilliance.
1. Ronaldo = 69 goals in 60 games for both Club and Country
2. Messi = 45 goals in 46 games for both Club and country
Do the mathematics.
Sports › Re: Yaya Toure Is CAF African Footballer Of 2013 by nerodenero: 11:39am On Jan 10, 2014
Wish very soon individual awards will be banned because the yardstick for selecting the best is really not known. We are really confused huh. It takes the combined effort of all 11 players to make a player unique. So why say he is the best? Sports like Motor racing, Table tennis, Law tennis, Golf etc that involves one player playing can attain any level and win individual awards. Such player can lay claim to the fact that he is the best in the world without fear or favour.
Sports › Re: FIFA Ballon D'or: Who Is Your Favourite? by nerodenero: 11:20am On Jan 10, 2014
If FIFA goes by CAF's selection process of choosing Yaya, then, Messi wins it. Messi will win based on the fact that his individual performance outshines Ronaldo and Ribery who has won more trophies than the rest in 2013.

Sports › Atletico Madrid-Barcelona Preview: La Liga's Top Two Clash At 8pm on 11/1/2014 by nerodenero(op):
La Liga's top two meet in an eagerly anticipated match at the Vicente Calderon on Saturday as Atletico Madrid host champions Barcelona.

Gerardo Martino's men are top of the table on goal difference and their opponents this weekend have displayed marginally better recent form in the league.

The Rojiblancos have taken maximum points from their last five Liga games, keeping four clean sheets and seeing striker Diego Costa score six goals in the process.

Barca suffered their only domestic defeat of the season to date when losing 1-0 to Athletic Bilbao at the start of December, but have bounced back by taking nine points from nine since then and are boosted by Lionel Messi's return from a hamstring injury.

Messi scored twice after coming on as a second-half substitute in a 4-0 Copa del Rey win over Getafe on Wednesday, and will be looked upon to play a key role against Atletico.

In the last 20 years, Atletico and Barca have met as the sides ranked first and second in the table on only three occasions, with the men from Spain's capital winning two of those meetings.

Barca claimed the Supercopa de Espana when the teams last faced off, triumphing on away goals following a 0-0 draw in the second leg at Camp Nou.

Prior to the first leg of that tie in Madrid - which finished 1-1 - the Catalan giants had won their last six games against Atletico.

In addition to welcoming back Messi, Barca are also expected to have Neymar available following a bout of gastroenteritis, meaning Pedro and Alexis Sanchez are expected to vie for the other spot in attack.

Defender Diego Godin is a doubt for Diego Simeone's men after picking up a thigh problem against Valencia in the Copa del Rey on Tuesday, while Mario Suarez (knee) is also likely to miss out.

Just my opinion
1. Going by the way Yaya was chosen based on individual performance and not based on trophies won 2013, will I be wrong to say that individual award in a team sport is totally wrong because It takes the collective effort of all the whole team to make an individual a star.
2. Considering the World best will be named in couple of days, will I be right to say Messi deserves to re-claim the title because his individual performance last year outshines that of Ribery and Ronaldo.
3. I will love Messi to win the award since I am a Barcelona fan but will it not be injustice to deny Ribery the award since he won treble last season.
Sports › EPL - Hull City V Chelsea At 1:45pm On 11/1/2014 by nerodenero(op): 9:38am On Jan 10, 2014
Premier League wins over Swansea City, Liverpool and Southampton were followed by a 2-0 FA Cup success at Derby County on Sunday.

Chelsea look to be clicking at the right time of the season and have a series of players on top form, with the likes of Eden Hazard, Oscar and Willian all excelling. The Stamford Bridge outfit have also been terrific at the back, conceding just once in their last five matches, with John Terry back to his best form.

Mourinho's men will be wary of Hull, though, with Steve Bruce's side impressive at home against some of the division's top sides this term as well as 6-0 victors over Fulham on their last outing at the KC Stadium.

The Yorkshire club were 3-1 winners against Liverpool on December 1 and led 2-0 against Manchester United on Boxing Day before losing 3-2.

Hull have only conceded six goals in 10 home matches this season but have struggled on the road and will enjoy a return to home comforts.

"You look at our recent home game against Manchester United," Hull defender Curtis Davies told the club's official website. "The way we started that game and really went for it is the same attitude we should show against Chelsea.

"But, if we're able to get a goal or two, hopefully we'll be able to hold onto it for a bit longer than we did against Manchester United.

"I always look forward to these games."

Defender Paul McShane will miss up to four weeks for Hull with an ankle injury, while winger Sone Aluko (Achilles) and striker Matty Fryatt (hamstring) will not be involved either, but Robbie Brady (groin) could return.

Branislav Ivanovic (knee) and Frank Lampard (muscle injury) will be absent for Chelsea, midfielder Marco van Ginkel (knee) is still some way off playing again and Ryan Bertrand (knock) is a doubt.

Hull have not beaten the Blues in their last nine meetings, with their most recent triumph being a 3-0 success in October 1988. On their three trips there in the last six years, Chelsea have won two but the two sides played out a 1-1 draw at the KC Stadium in February 2010.

Lampard and Oscar were on target when Chelsea beat Hull 2-0 on the opening weekend of the season at Stamford Bridge.
