Stop spreading propaganda and misinformation, Nigerias economy is in the shambles. There is a famous proverb that no one will want to travel on a leaking boat. I wonder what investors will be looking for in a country where even small businesses are failing rapidly

adeakin777: I appreciate your post. If what you said is true, then I presume there may be some credibility on this information shared since you were once on the inside. I must also add that I appreciate all the contributions of others from their sources whether they be for the completion or the cancellation of this exercise. The sad reality is that I for one really hope(d) this recruitment would have been completed ages ago and it is not that i am not currently engaged, (which I am grateful to God for) but that getting into organizations like NCDMB would be immense in contributing to my growth financially and career-wise. I also believe a lot of applicants here may share the same view. I have personally interacted with my brain that it is really time to move on but my heart is still hopeful...lol. That notwithstanding, I may for once agree with Tolaade on the need for everyone of us to acquire a skill(or multiple skills) other than our routine jobs, if not for the passion, but to bring in extra income on the table. With the state of the country now one must have multiple income to survive let alone savings. I hope this month of August looks up positively for us all. Peace! The recruitment happened at the wrong time, when nepotism and corruption was at an all time high in our country. There are things I would have loved to say, but let peace reign. I had colleagues who were as desperate as me. But what will be will be. We pray for a better country where the anyone can aspire and become great. |

I know what this job did to me, I served in local content in the ES office. My hopes were so high. I almost got high blood pressure sef, I knew about the recruitment before it even started. They asked us to stop working in March because of Covid-19. Trying to get into local content was almost getting me depressed, Omo One day I told myself the truth. |

Let me introduce to a concept or a word called UNPERSON. This word was first used by George Orwell in 1948 in his Novel titled “1984”. According to Wikipedia “it means someone who has been vaporized. Vaporization is when a person is secretly murdered and erased from society, the present, the universe, and existence. Such a person would be taken out of books and photographs, and articles so that no trace of them is found in the present anywhere – no record of them would be found.” Merriam- Webster Defines it as “an individual who usually for political or ideological reasons is removed completely from recognition or consideration” This is the fate of many fallen hero’s. A lot of families are in the middle of hope that a loved one may return and grief that the person maybe dead.
Took my time to watch that video and I’ll share my observation. At about 1:58 video time the Items from the pilot were displayed by the insurgents, one item that grabbed my attention was the pilots name tag which I screen shot to clear my curiosity about the pilots identity because I anticipated this moment where they will deny. Actually it’s the name tag of Flight Lieutenant John Abolarinwa one of the pilots involved in the crash. Could boko haram have painstakingly edited that too? May God help us.

Newcastle2023: Disclaimer! Disclaimer!! Disclaimer!!!
1. @gidob implied that I played with some persons emotions on PTDF OSS thread which is completely false. I believe we all are knowledgeable enough to know that September is part of the 3rd quarter of the year.
2. @Nerosoft19, my good friend, referred to me as 'our minister of information'. I'm clearly not one please.
I'm a serious - minded individual. I can't indulge in the frivolities a few persons here insinuated even in my dreams. I got the information I shared last week from one of their HR Managers that's coordinating the recruitment. They have sent letters to the 15 physical locations already including my location which is University of Port Harcourt.
I mentioned that they were to have another virtual meeting last Sunday of which I don't know the outcome yet. For God's sake, the week is still on till Saturday.
I believe some of these negative and unfortunate remarks have kept some persons with beneficial information from sharing.
I apologise for my previous comments on this thread. I wish you all the very best in this recruitment and your other endeavours. Thank you. I actually said that because I appreciate your efforts and contributions here, you have been the only one giving us the little information we have, And I appreciate that. I felt bad that some people here were calling you out that the week is already rounding up like you are the GMHR. It’s a privilege having you here sir and if that is abused like every other privilege in Nigeria then we should have a group for those that will appreciate and exercise patience. |
