Tinyemeka: I deliberately signed up only for the Basic membership ab initio, so you can imagine my surprise when I started seeing the weekly membership charges to my account.
I have written to them to reverse the charges and revert me back to the Basic membership that I signed up for. Currently awaiting their response.
Thanks. 🙏 . I agree with you that Loqbox were being shady with the £2.50 weekly charge. That's a lot of money and they were not open about it. If you want to downgrade your membership: Log in and go to the ‘Account’ section Click Membership, Manage my Membership, Choose a different Membership plan, select Loqbox Lite and continue. You'll be refunded your £5 |

Tinyemeka: Are you aware that Loqbox charged a so called "membership fee" of £2.50 every week after signing up to their service? You can opt for the basic plan with Loqbox and it is free. If you joined Loqbox recently and have been charged £2.50 you can downgrade to the free service and your £2.50 will be refunded |

Sinchester: Good evening good people
I need guidance on this please.
She wants to change the name to my name but we know she has to do that on her NIN first before we put in the passport renewal application. We got a place to do the NIN thing here in the Uk and the person said it can be done. In my opinion, there's no need for her to change name unless you both have reasons she really needs to. |

As a parent, I wouldn't pay someone £400/month to look after my children.....how will one even have peace of mind.
Please don't fall into the hands of paedophiles that would jump at such opportunity to be housed, fed and granted free access to victims.
You may think that you're smart and the one taking advantage of the nanny, not knowing you and your children are the real victims. |

STENON: Just making our bucket list for 2023 I am planning of going home with my family at some point in this year, I am from the rural part of South Western Nigeria.
My son is 2 years old and has never been to Nigeria. His Dad is white Scottish .
Please kindly help a confused mum. Thank you xx The bolded don't go together so well with the current security situation in the country (if you're planning to spend the time at home in the rural area) I think Rural areas are less safe because the bad guys have access to forests for camping and escape. |

sugarkemi: Planning to have soon. Just got married last year. For me as a parent in the UK (without any family around for support), child care is the most expensive thing after rent/mortgage. Based on all the details you've provided so far, it'll be impossible to save £3k unless your partner is earning at least £5k net per month. |

DoubleN: Morning All,
Please can anyone advise fun places to visit or do in London this period with family?
Thanks. You can try any of the following with family: - go to the winter wonderland at Hyde Park - book/take a tour of London Christmas lights - book/take a city tour - go window shopping at Westfield shopping center at Stratford (and have lunch/dinner) at their food court, take a short walk from there to West Ham home stadium. |

Amarathripple0: If all that you’ve said is true then you have been more than kind to this guy. So you need to give him one month to find a new place and he needs to pay you for that one month’s rent. And no more freebies including the free meals. If he says no, then whatever his eyes see, he should take it like that. @Babajeje123, one month is too much. You need to let him go within a week. You have kids in the house and you shouldn't have someone behaving this way in the same house with your family. |

Thastie: So there are Ghanaians in my workplace and the annoying thing is they all want to compare their country with Nigeria at every opportunity. Its annoying. And the most annoying thing is Nigerians at my workplace are so dominated and defeated, they don't even argue, they just accept it. Some people don't waste their energy on irrelevant arguments. I try to apply the rules of Circle of Influence/Concern before engaging in arguments. I ignore loads of petty arguments unless I'm out drinking |

Does a dependent still need to show financial evidence even if the main tier 2 visa holder has a COS from his employer. No |

Please I need your advice and input. The most important thing is to stick to the terms of your visa. |

solid3: For those who did biometrics on 28th March, how far any news?
I sent paid email on Monday, they replied yesterday that a decision has been made further asking me to wait for 10 working days to get collection mail from VAC.
This morning, I tracked my application and it has moved from DMC to Transfer to VAC.
I did not get any refusal email (I'll never get that IJN ). Can I start dancing yet? I'd say congratulations on the progress of your application |

If you send a paid mail, you don't need to pay again if you are still asking questions about the same topic.
Just reply the last email with your question.
No need for 2 paid emails on same topic/application |
