Proverbs 20:11
11 Even a child is known by his doings. . .
little wonder why the apostle Paul said when he was child he spake as a child but when he became mature he laid as childish things.
The Christian is sharer of the God nature, he or she is a participator in the divine experience and righteousness is a nature of God

Christianity EtcRe: The "sinner". by newmi(m): 7:15am On Oct 19, 2011
the Christian is not a sinner to call him a sinner is to discredit the works of Christ on that cross of justice, you see Jesus hanging on that cross was the summit of all justice done and on that cross the bible says that He became not just a sinner but He became "sin" that the totality of what sin represented little wonder the bible records that on that cross He cried out my father my father why has thou forsaken me because The Father is pure He can not behold iniquity so He turned His face away. Now in Christ Jesus for everyone will accept and make personal the Demonstration of love carried by Jesus Christ such a one according to 2 Corinthians 5:17 is a new creature and automatically has "The Righteousness" of ascribed to him.
We must separate sin as an action and a nature. Anyone who is not bornagain is qualified to called a sinner whether or not he does anything good or bad why becos by one man sin entered into the world. But this not to say that as Christians, one may not make mistakes afterall even as saints we are constantly being perfectedthe

Christianity EtcRe: Christians And Muslims Worship The Same God ? by newmi(m): 6:49am On Oct 18, 2011
This is a simple question and simple answer is what it deserves so all this unnecessary deviations are not important. if you an answer why not share it and let the learning process continue with friction.

How can both Muslims and Christians serve the same God?
The bible reveals to us who God is
John 1:1-4
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Christianity EtcRe: Can Christians Be Hurt By Witchcraft Or Black Magic? by newmi(m): 12:46am On Oct 16, 2011
The simple answer is yes!
But be that as it may though it is important that we understand a Christian truly is; the Christian one who is superior to Satan and he demons thus "SHOULD NOT" be hurt by witch-craft or the so called "Black Magic in Christ Jesus we have have been made more than conquerors little wonder the scripture in Luke 10:19 "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you". but someone may want to ask if this scripture is true (which it is) why then do we still have certain Christians still being hurt by witch-craft and black magic? Well interestingly fine a scripture which provides us with clear reason that could be possible.

Galatians 4:1-3
"1 What I am saying is that as long as an heir is underage, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate. 2 The heir is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father. 3 So also, when we were underage,
we were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forces[a] of the world"

You see its only children who have not come of age and who are immature that have the tendency of being hurt by black magic or by the activities of witches and to a large proportion is anchored on one thing- IGNORANCE

Christianity EtcLet The Lord Be Your Defense by newmi(op): 1:03pm On Oct 14, 2011
Let The Lord Be Your Defense

Psalm 94:22
22But the Lord has been my defense, and my God the rock of my refuge.

Imagine being a poor widow, a stranger in the land and holding one of the lowliest jobs in society. That was Ruth’s situation, so it would have been easy for her to feel vulnerable and defenseless. But because she trusted the Lord (Ruth 1:16), He placed her under Boaz’s protection.

Boaz, the owner of the field she worked in, commanded his young men saying, “Let her glean even among the sheaves, and do not reproach her.” (Ruth 2:15) What he was saying to his men was this: “She might be a gleaner, but because I care for her, treat her with respect and make sure she is not put to shame.”

Boaz is a picture of our Lord Jesus. If you are feeling vulnerable and defenseless right now, imagine Jesus commanding His angels, “Watch over this one who belongs to Me. Make sure he is treated with respect and not put to shame because he is someone I love and someone whom I died for.”

God’s Word tells us that if God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31) No one who has set himself against us can prevail because when God is for us, His protection is upon us. That is why I have never answered any of the poison email messages which I have received in the course of my ministry.

My attitude is this: Jesus is my defense. If He does not defend me, it means that there are things in my life that are not to be defended, and I would be glad to find out about them now rather than later. On the other hand, because I take the Lord as my defense, and He defends me, what can those who are against me do to me?

When you defend yourself, you have only your two hands and your own human resources. But when you let Jesus take up your defense, He defends you with His nail-pierced hands and His legions of angels! The results will be amazing.

Beloved, the Lord is your defense and refuge. Trust Him to defend and protect you!
Christianity EtcPronounce Yourself Clean! by newmi(op): 12:51pm On Oct 14, 2011
Pronounce Yourself Clean!

Matthew 8:3
3Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Most of us are familiar with the healing of the leper in Matthew 8. It is a beautiful account of God’s willingness to touch and heal the sick, no matter how unclean they may be. Whenever we doubt God’s willingness to heal us, we should listen to the words of Jesus again: “I am willing; be cleansed.” He is the same yesterday, today and forever!

Since the Bible is clear about God’s willingness to heal, why do we still have problems with our health? Why do we still experience symptoms in our bodies?

I believe that the answer is found in what Jesus told the leper to do next. He told him to go and show himself to the priest. (Matthew 8:4) This was the law then for lepers who were healed. (Leviticus 14:2–3) And he was to hear the priest pronounce the word “clean” over him. (Leviticus 14:7)

You see, as believers, when we received Jesus, His blood cleansed us from sin as well as sickness. (Isaiah 53:4–5) But we keep hearing people pronounce sin, sickness, poverty and death over us. We keep hearing people tell us that we are unclean, undeserving, poor, weak, and that it is only natural that we grow old and sickly, and die.

God is waiting for a priesthood that will rise up and pronounce His people clean!

“But Pastor Prince, where can I find such priests?”

Who are the priests today? You and I! In fact, we have more authority to pronounce good things than the Levitical priests of the Old Testament. They were just priests. But we are king-priests by the blood of Jesus! (Revelation 1:5–6) Where the word of the king is, there is power. (Ecclesiastes 8:4) And by the word of a priest, every controversy and every assault shall be settled. (Deuteronomy 21:5)

Beloved, God has cleansed you, so pronounce yourself clean! Right now, put your hand on your heart and pronounce good things over yourself. Say, “I pronounce myself clean, righteous, healed, whole and prosperous by the blood of Jesus!” By your word as a king-priest, every assault against you shall be settled!

Where did the bible ever say that Jesus Christ went to HELL !!!

Show me quickly please  !
1 Peter 3:18-19
18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. 19 After being made alive,[a] he went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits—

Question: What and where is this prison in which these persons "spirits" where supposedly imprisoned?

1 Peter 4:6
For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to men in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit.

". . . the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead. . ." doesn't that show some form of activity and Where are the dead or better still where was the dead prior to this?

2 Corinthians 5:20
He has made Him who knew nothing of sin to be sin for us, in order that in Him we may become the righteousness of God.

The bible makes us to understand clearly (no Greek no Hebrew) that Christ Jesus was made "to be sin" meaning that He was the embodiment of what sin represented on that cross on Him was laid all the sin of all men little wonder the bible says
". . .that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved"

Then while on the cross the bible records in (Mark 15:34) "And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"
This could only be possible because the bible records that the eyes of God are so pure that He cannot behold iniquity and He is not a respecter of any person so when Jesus was made sin on that cross He was treated as a sinner.

Question: Where do sinners go to when they die?
"Heaven" l suppose  grin  huh then who goes hell perhaps saints grin huh
HE WHO KNEW NO SIN WAS MADE SIN FOR US AND HE DIED IN HIS SIN STATE AND WENT TO HELL SO THAT ALL WHO WILL HEAR AND BELIEVE IN HIS NAME WILL NOT DIE IN SIN AND FACE THE ULTIMATE JUDGMENT AND DESTINATION.

I want to believe that this should be simple enough

Christianity EtcIron Mixed With Clay -the Cyborg Future (daniel 2:33nd43) by newmi(op): 2:39pm On Sep 28, 2011
A cyborg is essentially a man-machine system in which the control mechanisms of the human portion are modified externally by drugs or regulatory devices so that the being can live in an environment different from the normal one.

A cyborg is a being with both biological and artificial (e.g. electronic, mechanical or robotic) parts. The term was coined in 1960 when Manfred Clynes and Nathan Kline used it in an article about the advantages of self-regulating human-machine systems in outer space.[1] D. S. Halacy's Cyborg: Evolution of the Superman in 1965 featured an introduction which spoke of a "new frontier" that was "not merely space, but more profoundly the relationship between 'inner space' to 'outer space' – a bridge, between mind and matter."[2]

The term cyborg is often today applied to an organism that has enhanced abilities due to technology,[3] though this perhaps oversimplifies the necessity of feedback for regulating the subsystem. The earlier and more strict definition of Cyborg was almost always considered as increasing or enhancing normal capabilities, whereas now the term can also be applied to those organisms which use technology to repair or overcome their physical and mental constraints: including artificial limbs and hands as well as a device for helping colour-blind people to "hear" in colour. While cyborgs are commonly thought of as mammals, they might also conceivably be any kind of organism and the term "Cybernetic organism" has been applied to networks, such as road systems, corporations and governments, which have been classed as such. The term can also apply to micro-organisms which are modified to perform at higher levels than their unmodified counterparts.
According to some definitions of the term, the metaphysical and physical attachments humanity has with even the most basic technologies have already made them cyborgs.[4] In a typical example, a human fitted with a heart pacemaker or an insulin pump (if the person has diabetes) might be considered a cyborg, since these mechanical parts enhance the body's "natural" mechanisms through synthetic feedback mechanisms. Some theorists cite such modifications as contact lenses, hearing aids, or intraocular lenses as examples of fitting humans with technology to enhance their biological capabilities; however, these modifications are as cybernetic as a pen or a wooden leg. Cochlear implants that combine mechanical modification with any kind of feedback response are more accurately cyborg enhancements.
Origins
The concept of a man-machine mixture was widespread in science fiction before World War II. As early as 1843, Edgar Allan Poe described a man with extensive prostheses in the short story "The Man That Was Used Up". In 1908, Jean de la Hire introduced Nyctalope (perhaps the first true superhero was also the first literary cyborg) in the novel L'Homme Qui Peut Vivre Dans L'eau (The Man Who Can Live in the Water). Edmond Hamilton presented space explorers with a mixture of organic and machine parts in his novel The Comet Doom in 1928. He later featured the talking, living brain of an old scientist, Simon Wright, floating around in a transparent case, in all the adventures of his famous hero, Captain Future. He uses the term explicitly in the 1962 short story, "After a Judgment Day," to describe the "mechanical analogs" called "Charlies," explaining that "[c]yborgs, they had been called from the first one in the 1960's, cybernetic organisms." In the short story "No Woman Born" in 1944, C. L. Moore wrote of Deirdre, a dancer, whose body was burned completely and whose brain was placed in a faceless but beautiful and supple mechanical body.
The term was coined by Manfred E. Clynes and Nathan S. Kline in 1960 to refer to their conception of an enhanced human being who could survive in extraterrestrial environments:
Their concept was the outcome of thinking about the need for an intimate relationship between human and machine as the new frontier of space exploration was beginning to take place. A designer of physiological instrumentation and electronic data-processing systems, Clynes was the chief research scientist in the Dynamic Simulation Laboratory at Rockland State Hospital in New York.
The term first appears in print five months earlier when The New York Times reported on the Psychophysiological Aspects of Space Flight Symposium where Clynes and Kline first presented their paper.

Just a simple question: Could this be a extension of the "INTERPRETATION" of the vision of Daniel recorded in the book of Daniel 2:33 nd 43
33 its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. . . . 43 As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.

Iron mixed with Clay
Iron - Machine
Clay - Man (flesh) "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul". (Genesis 2:7)

Please don't get me wrong l am very much aware that this vision in question is plainly about the "Empires of the World". This concern has become expedient for me especially when l project and see a technological future of man and machine-advance artificial intelligence under the disguise of breaking new grounds and charting new frontiers for more efficiency and improved productivity

Only meaningful contribution are allowed. Thank you

You are wrong,I doubt if you're a member of CEC except you're new or not very committed.  We give as a way of life. We give to meet needs, and we get blessed. We don't give prado to get a hummer. When I gave the prado, I began drive a bus without a/c . For some months. I'm teaching truth here .A giver must recieve. I'm presently using a jeep wrangler, Its even a deeper life member that was led to give me. I recieve strange things. This things looks crazy but that's the life we live  The I can't deny the power of giving. This truths works for anyone who believes. There are things God has ordained you to get free. If you don't practice giving ,They may not come. If a man does not give he is missing a lot.  . Somebody is making noise over 30 jeeps . Just 30 jeep not even a jet . ? Will you blame a man for what he receives? Does he know how pastor chris gives . Why not do your own giving.

We were discussing the benefit of sowing seed in a thread , so it was inline  it was an illustration.

That has to do with motive. It's only God that sees the motive of the heart .didn't Jesus talk about how he fed 5,000.? If the motive is for the praise of men, that praise is all we get,but if the motive is to give glory to God. Nothing wrong with it.Didn't paul talk about how he laboured more than other apostles? It depends the motive.

1 Corinthians 15:10
10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
