Demmzy15:And imam was reported to have said that whoever calls him Muhyideen, he doesn't pardon him. Meaning he disliked the name too. And I heard that Dr SharafDeen in Ogbomosho -may Allah preserve him upon goodness- said his own name too is not exempted from the dislike. |
AbdelKabir:Exactly, He will always find an excuse for innovating, innovations and innovators but will always find an excuse against the sunnah and its people. |
Empiree:First, you claimed that refuting people is a thing you don't do because you dislike it. Then immediately, you do a refutation of Jabata. This is a big contradiction. The truth is you can't do without refuting, it's a basic necessity for the one who wants to call to good and forbid evil except you want a state of anarchy. The only thing left is for one to always try to be as objective as possible in his refutation or accepting a refutation by striving to stay in line with the Quran and sunnah according to the understanding of the righteous predecessors in one's refutation. Secondly, Jabata is not on the methodology of the righteous predecessors in the issue of innovators. To Jabata, every innovator is in hell forever if he doesn't repent but there's non of the salaf (righteous predecessors) from the Sahabah rodiyaLLaahu anhum and those who follow them in goodness that ever claimed this ideology rather it was first known with the khawarij sect. Although, Jabata has big deviations and misguidances, I don't agree with the claims of OP regarding Jabata, rather I think they are closer to falsehood than truth. Finally, I must warn us all against Jabata's methodology, it's not in line with the Quran and sunnah according to the interpretation of the righteous predecessors. |
He it is Who created you, then some of you are disbelievers and some of you are believers. And Allah is All-Seer of what you do. And they (disbelievers, polytheists, etc.) worship besides Allah, that which can neither profit them nor harm them, and the disbeliever is ever a helper (of the Satan) against his Lord. Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Quran and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikun will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures. Or do you think that most of them hear or understand? They are only like cattle; nay, they are even farther astray from the Path. (i.e. even worst than cattle). (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran |
Rashduct4luv:JazaakaLLaahu khayraa. However, it's worthy of note that: The scholars have listed names that something-deen as one of the disliked (not prohibited) names. So it's better not to give ones child such names. |
abatisegun:آمين و إياكم |
Empiree:You raised a flimsy but highly misleading excuse for your innovation, I clarified it. you didn't submit and didn't try to explain further the weakness in my point instead you brought up some other flimsy but highly misleading claim. This shows that you acknowledged the error in your claims after seeing pepper clarification for your doubts and misguidances. instead of submitting you only try to run from one weak wall of defense to another just like your shia cohort AlBaqir does. |
Empiree:As for your first claim, the messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam married a woman older than him so also did he marry women younger than him such as Aishah which makes both permissible. And the prophet married his daughter Fatima to Ali who was older than her which shows its permissibility. So also did he marry two of his daughters to Uthman who was no doubt old enough to be their father. Which shows its permissibility. The he even said in his statement that we should marry young virgins. So there's no claim for you in it. Any just person who looks into the available evidences on this issue will see that marrying younger women is the sunnah but one may marry older ones if a greater good is expected. As for your second claim, the messenger never slept eyes open, he slept eyes closed and heart awake as has been reported in authentic narrations. This is a specific attribute to him alyhissolaat wassalaam over other people and a sign of his prophethood. So no one can emulate it even if one wished. Allah has not enjoined upon us what is impossible for us to do. |
Empiree:Such a flimsy excuse for your deviant methodologies. Sahabah and those who followed them in goodness didn't define sunnah as you have. You have no righteous predecessor for this claim of yours, it's an innovated methodology. The companions rodiyaLLaahu anhum travelled the lands during the time of the Prophet alyhissolaat wassalaam, such as Muadh bn Jabal that was sent to Yemen and many of them that traveled to Syria, modern Palestine other territories for business and dawah, and they conquered cities which didn't spend Dirham and Dinar as there currencies, if spending Dirham and dinar were acts of worship the messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam would have directed them not to spend other than Dirham and dinar. |
Empiree:Shun bidah and stick to the sunnah as understood by the companions rodiyaLLaahu anhum and those who follow them in goodness. |
The seeker of truth is sufficed by one evidence, but the follower of desires will not benefit from a thousand proofs. |
The seeker of truth is sufficed by one evidence, but the follower of desires will not benefit from a thousand proofs. |
Funny thing is that this dumb head AlBaqir will still create another thread to insult Hudhayfah. Whenever he needs to use a companion's words, he praises him, when he has finished he insults him. Double standard, a typical characteristic of innovators and deviants. |
Demmzy15:Exactly. What Umar did is a sign of humility and perfect Eeman. Just as Ibrahim and Ismail were beseeching Allah out of fear and hope when they were reconstructing the kabah as Allah mentioned in Baqarah instead of joking and feeling safe. The messenger too used to offer Solah and weep till late in the night even when Allah had forgiven him all past and future sins. And Abu Bakr too did the same when the messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam said everyone's wealth that benefited (in the course of Allah) we have been able to reciprocate except the wealth of Abu Bakr. Then Abu Bakr wept. Then what shows the emptiness of AlBaqir's skull is that, why would Umar ask since he already knew that he was a munafiq. Munafiqs don't ask for guidance or forgiveness. If AlBaqir had spent more time pondering on Surah Nisaa instead of reading cursed Allah forsaken Al-Kafi book of lies written by their deviant sheikh, he would have seen that I'm saying. |
AlBaqir:So, what do you say about Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Abu Musa, Sa'd bn Abi waqqass?! |
Crownadex:Aameen wa iyyaak |
Harbioye:Aameen wa iyyaak. You might not be this lucky next time, there are many deviants on this forum like AlBaqir the Shia, and Empiree the Sufi etc. AlhamduliLlah, there are Sunni brothers like me and LexiconKabir and MrOlai etc |
Harbioye:You are welcome brother. |
Crownadex:wa alykumussalam wa rahmatuLLaah wa barakaatuh. Though I'm not an elder but I'll try to give adequate response. upon Allah alone I rely. Firstly, niqab has nothing to do with being married or not, many of the people believe that it's the husband that veils his wife, this is very wrong and is baseless in the Deen. On the contrary, niqab has to do with maturity. Once a woman attains puberty she has to use the niqab if she is of the opinion that it's compulsory. Allah knows best. Secondly, The scholars are divided in the issue of niqab, some say it's obligatory and the implication of this is that whoever doesn't use it is committing a sin and is liable to being punished in the grave or hell but such a person will never be in hell forever because no believer will be in hell forever. This is the opinion of Sheikh Ibn Baaz and Sheikh Uthymeen and many other scholars. The second opinion is that it's recommended. The implication of this is that whoever doesn't use it is depriving herself of great reward but will not be punished in any way just like the one who doesn't fast Mondays and Thursdays. This is the opinion of Imam Albany and many of his students. This is the opinion I hold not because I think it's simple but because it's the one I see to be more supported by evidences from the Quran and sunnah. Note: my wife uses niqab even before I married her. and Sheikh Albany's wives and daughters too use niqab. So it's a matter of knowledge and evidence not whims, ignorance and dim-wittedness as some have displayed. Allah knows best. |
Anyone who has common sense will see that the Niqab used by those belly dancers is different from the niqab Islam enjoined. The Muslim woman's niqab is a result of chastity, so it should be free from adornments unlike these face covers. Secondly, the fact that it had been in existence before Islam doesn't proof that it's not part of Islam. Hospitality and charity was a part of Arab culture before Islam came, that didn't make it a less important act of worship. The laws of Islam can be divided into three categories: # Ones in existence and Islam came to improve such as charity, goodness to family etc # Ones in existence that Islam came to abolish such as singing, dancing and calling on other than Allah. #Ones not in existence but Islam brought it new such as the science of hadith. Added to this category are those laws that Islam modified such as the modifications to the hajj pilgrimage, Solah and fasting etc. Allah knows best. Also, whoever is not sufficed by the Quran has no right to call himself a Muslim. Is it not sufficient for them that We have sent down to you the Book (the Quran) which is recited to them? Verily, herein is mercy and a reminder (or an admonition) for a people who believe. (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran Also, Islam is the religion that first existed on earth, it is the religion of our fathers; Adam, Ibrahim, Nuh, Musa, Eesa etc so it's possible that these face veils used by these belly dancers is a remnant of the laws of past prophets and a result of their distortion of the messages sent to them through their messengers. Don't you see that many Muslim women of today have distorted the hijab brought to them by the Quran by reducing it to short scarves, parsh and caps etc. |
Some big scholars of our time such as Sheikh Abu Ubaydah Mashoor Hasan Aal Salman are of the opinion that Pictures taken on phone etc are not Haram because they are not tangible and may be erased with ease. Though they all agree that pictures of nudity etc are all Haram irrespective of the medium. However, what seems more correct, reliable and safer is that it is Haram because all these pictures fall under the word 'suwar' translated as pictures or images. The messenger of Allah alyhissolaat wassalaam prohibited suwar, he didn't exempt any of the above. This is the opinion of Imam Albany and Imam Ibn Baaz, the greatest scholars of our era. Allah knows best. |
Innovation is Haram and the people of sunnah are free from it. Tarawih in congregation is completely in line with the sunnah in fact the messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam lead the people in Solah. Evidence: Soheeh Bukharee Book: of Solah Tarawih Chapter: The excellence of someone who prays at night in Ramadan Hadith no :1946 Narrated ''''Ursa: That he was informed by `Aisha, "Allah''''s Apostle went out in the middle of the night and prayed in the mosque and some men prayed behind him. In the morning, the people spoke about it and then a large number of them gathered and prayed behind him (on the second night). In the next morning the people again talked about it and on the third night the mosque was full with a large number of people. Allah''''s Apostle came out and the people prayed behind him. On the fourth night the Mosque was overwhelmed with people and could not accommodate them, but the Prophet came out (only) for the morning prayer. When the morning prayer was finished he recited Tashah-hud and (addressing the people) said, "Amma ba'du, your presence was not hidden from me but I was afraid lest the night prayer (Qiyam) should be enjoined on you and you might not be able to carry it on." So, Allah''''s Apostle died and the situation remained like that (i.e. people prayed individually). " So the messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam left observing it in congregation out of fear that Allah that observing it in congregation would be made obligatory. After his death alyhissolaat wassalaam, that fear is no more, so we continue observing it in congregation. However I ask this infidel AlBaqir: Your insult and hatred for Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman is an innovation no believer practiced it during the Prophet's time and after not even Ali rodiyaLLaahu anhum. |
SoulB6:This your question shows that you are suffering from one of two major diseases: # Ignorance #dim-wittedness The statement of Allah clearly explains your type: Surah Al-Anaam, Verse 112: وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا شَيَاطِينَ الْإِنسِ وَالْجِنِّ يُوحِي بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ زُخْرُفَ الْقَوْلِ غُرُورًا وَلَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّكَ مَا فَعَلُوهُ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَ And so We have appointed for every Prophet enemies - Shayatin (devils) among mankind and jinns, inspiring one another with adorned speech as a delusion (or by way of deception). If your Lord had so willed, they would not have done it, so leave them alone with their fabrications. (Tafseer Qurtubi, Vol. 7, Page 67) (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran To show you how flimsy your claim is I'll ask you a single and simple question: Show me one place in the Quran that says solar Subh should not be 10rakats! |
Verily, the hypocrites seek to deceive Allah, but it is He Who deceives them. And when they stand up for As-Salat (the prayer), they stand with laziness and to be seen of men, and they do not remember Allah but little. Verily, the hyprocrites will be in the lowest depths (grade) of the Fire; no helper will you find for them. (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran |
So Allah clearly explains why He alone has right to be worshipped. The verses that convey similar meanings are abundant in the Quran, the one who ponders well will find. Conditions of la ilaha illa Allah The conditions of la ilaha illa Allah are Six as compiled by Al-Haafidh al-Hakamiyy in his "sullam": Knowledge: Learning the meaning, conditions, implications and nullifiers of this great statement. If not he wouldn't be able to respond to the questions in the grave. the messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam said: Chapter: Whoever gave a religious verdict by beckoning or by nodding Hadith no :86 Narrated Asma'''': I came to `Aisha while she was praying, and said to her, "What has happened to the people?" She pointed out towards the sky. (I looked towards the mosque), and saw the people offering the prayer. Aisha said, "Subhan Allah." I said to her, "Is there a sign?" She nodded with her head meaning, "Yes." I, too, then stood (for the prayer of eclipse) till I became (nearly) unconscious and later on I poured water on my head. After the prayer, the Prophet praised and glorified Allah and then said, "Just now at this place I have seen what I have never seen before, including Paradise and Hell. No doubt it has been inspired to me that you will be put to trials in your graves and these trials will be like the trials of Masih-ad-Dajjal or nearly like it (the sub narrator is not sure which expression Asma'''' used). You will be asked, ''''What do you know about this man (the Prophet Muhammad)?'''' Then the faithful believer (or Asma'''' said a similar word) will reply, ''''He is Muhammad Allah''''s Apostle who had come to us with clear evidences and guidance and so we accepted his teachings and followed him. And he is Muhammad.'''' And he will repeat it thrice. Then the angels will say to him, ''''Sleep in peace as we have come to know that you were a faithful believer.'''' On the other hand, a hypocrite or a doubtful person will reply, ''''I do not know, but I heard the people saying something and so I said it.'''' (the same). " Sincerity: Not saying it to gather money, gain fame or other worldly possessions, rather saying it to seek the pleasure of Allah alone. acceptance: The one who rejects it will not benefit from saying it in anyway. The acceptance is with the heart but the sign of sincere acceptance shows in the deeds of the person. The one who claims to accept la ilaha illa Allah but still does tawaf of graves is only deceiving himself. The Prophet's uncle, knew the meaning and implication of the statement but he didn't accept it out of fear of the people. His knowledge and acknowledgement did not benefit him in any way. Love: One must love saying it, love it's meaning and love practicing it's required acts such as Solah, zakah, following the Quran and sunnah etc. The one who detests it and doesn't love those who abide by it, such a person is not going to be free from hell even if he says it a million times. Submission: Once you say this statement and you really wish to be saved from hell forever then you must submit to the command of Allah even if it is against the wish of your parents, family, leader or ruler or even your personal wishes. Lastly: truthfulness, the one who says it only to deceive others but doesn't actually accept it is a hypocrite and will be in the lowest pits of hell. |
Allah also says in another verse: Surah Saba, Verse 22: قُلِ ادْعُوا الَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَلَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا لَهُمْ فِيهِمَا مِن شِرْكٍ وَمَا لَهُ مِنْهُم مِّن ظَهِيرٍ Say: (O Muhammad SAW to those polytheists, pagans, etc.) "Call upon those whom you assert (to be associate gods) besides Allah, they possess not even the weight of an atom (or a small ant), either in the heavens or on the earth, nor have they any share in either, nor there is for Him any supporter from among them. (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran And He says: Surah Fatir, Verse 40: Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Tell me or inform me (what) do you think about your (socalled) partnergods to whom you call upon besides Allah, show me, what they have created of the earth? Or have they any share in the heavens? Or have We given them a Book, so that they act on clear proof therefrom? Nay, the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) promise one another nothing but delusions." (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran And He says: Surah Al-Ahqaf, Verse 4: Say (O Muhammad SAW to these pagans): "Think! All that you invoke besides Allah show me! What have they created of the earth? Or have they a share in (the creation of) the heavens? Bring me a Book (revealed before this), or some trace of knowledge (in support of your claims), if you are truthful!" (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran |
Then let's take the second popular interpretation: "No king as god" the meaning of ilah is not king rather ilah means diety, any thing or person you worship by devoting your love, fear and hope in it/him that is your ilah. So ilah does not mean king because king in Arabic language means Malik, it could also be roughly translated as ra'ees, za'eem but not ilah. So what's the true and correct meaning of la ilaha illa Allah. There is no diety worthy of worship except Allah. That is the correct meaning because it shows that people worship many other things but they have no right to being worshiped, loved, feared and relied upon as Allah deserves. Allah the most exalted explains in very short but highly detailed and convincing words the reason why He alone has right to being worshiped, loved, feared and relied upon. O mankind! Worship your Lord (Allah), Who created you and those who were before you so that you may become Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2). Who has made the earth a resting place for you, and the sky as a canopy, and sent down water (rain) from the sky and brought forth therewith fruits as a provision for you. Then do not set up rivals unto Allah (in worship) while you know (that He Alone has the right to be worshipped). (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran Allah is the one who created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them including you, provides for you and directs your affairs so why should you love, fear and hope in other than Him? Why should you call on others besides Him. |
Praise be to Allah, His Solah and salam be upon the last of the messengers, his companions and household and those who follow them in goodness till the day of qiyamah. After that: AbduLLah son of Umar son of Khattab (Allah be pleased with father and son) reported that the Messenger alyhissolaat wassalaam said: Islam is built upon five pillars; Testifying that La ilaha illa Allah and Muhammad rosoolullaah, establishment of solah, giving of zakah, fasting Ramadan and Pilgrimage to the house for whoever has its means. (Bukharee: Book of faith, and Muslim: Book of faith). So this your la ilaha illa Allah is the reason why you are a Muslim and it's the reason why you cannot be in hell forever and it's the reason why you were created and it's the reason why all the messengers Alyhimussalam were sent and given books. Unfortunately, today many 'muslims' utter the statement "la ilaha illa Allah" but only a few (care to) know it's meaning, conditions and implications. So I'll try to do justice to it briefly. MEANING There is no god but Allah, there's no king as Allah and similar statements are the most common interpretations giving to this great word but unfortunately, they are not the correct meaning of la ilaha illa Allah. Let's take the first meaning: There is no god but Allah. Allah the most high in His book didn't negate the existence of other deities and gods, what He negated is their right to be worshipped Allah says: Surah Al-Hajj, Verse 62: ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ وَأَنَّ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ هُوَ الْبَاطِلُ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ That is because Allah He is the Truth (the only True God of all that exists, Who has no partners or rivals with Him), and what they (the polytheists) invoke besides Him, it is Batil (falsehood) And verily, Allah He is the Most High, the Most Great. (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran and he says also: Surah Luqman, Verse 30: ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ وَأَنَّ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ الْبَاطِلُ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ That is because Allah, He is the Truth, and that which they invoke besides Him is Al-Batil (falsehood, Satan and all other false deities), and that Allah, He is the Most High, the Most Great. (English - Mohsin Khan) via iQuran So saying: there is no god but Allah is completely against the Quran. ....to be continued, in shaa Allah |
Islam is a complete religion. We have no need for a dua innovated by a man who came after 10 centuries since the religion has been completed. And the deluded man even claims that his innovated prayer (solatul fatih) is better than 6000 of the Quran!!! |
