Since we didn't provide account numbers during the registration what account are they going to pay us with? Will new accounts be opened for every successful applicants? |
We were directed to the screening hall were our documents were vetted and platoon was assigned to us. "Go to Platoon 9, from there move to the camp clinic yours services will be needed there". That was the voice of the official that attended to me. |
Having to experience a green beautiful environment with a nice view of water bodies was really fantastic to me. After about 1:30 minutes we arrived at Karaye and we began to make our way to Kusallah Dam. On reaching the camp we were thoroughly checked and allowed in. I was stunned at the sight of prospective corp members(PCMs) in their white shirts and shorts on the parade ground. The first question on my mind was, 'When did all this people report to the camp'?. Because the number of people I saw was massive. |
All I have always imagined was that the place was just a few km away unknowing to me that I will be embarking on a journey of almost 100km 😳. The most memorable thing for me on the trip was the beautiful vegetation I saw and the nice view of dams we came across. This is because, if you're familiar with Kano you will know that the terrain is more of a Sahel savannah with sparse vegetations. |
I arrived in Kano at my Uncle's place after about 12 hours trip. The next day I rested and strolled out for sight seeing and also to buy some provisions and toiletries that I will be needing. I packed my bags and all the items I will be needing in camp because I will be reporting there the next morning. Although I had been to Kano on several occasions, I never knew the location of the Nysc camp. I quickly asked my cousin brother who happened to have served in Kano a year ago and he gave me the bearing. I embarked on my journey to Karaye, I never knew I was in for a long journey. |
I really didn't have a preference of state to serve because I did not want to twist my own destiny. As a Muslim we are thought to have faith and not to try and control our destinies. The moment I checked on the portal of the Nysc I saw NYSC permanent orientation Camp Karaye Kussallah Dam. I was to report 2days after. I began to make plans on my trip to Kano State where the camp is located. I realized it would be easier for me to travel first to Kano at my Uncle's place to rest and keep some of my stuffs before I move to camp from there. |
I don't know if I am going to finish this thread soon. However, I wish to relate my experience while I was in Nysc orientation camp in preparation to serve my fatherland. Like every other person, I was really excited about what the camp experience will be like. On my way from Ayangba Kogi State to see a special person I began to see messages trooping in on my WhatsApp, I checked and realized our Nysc call up letters were out! Alas after days of suspense it finally came. I anxiously checked to see the state I was deployed to. |

Three months back, something very remarkable happened to me that did not just changed my mindset but also raised my finances. If someone had told me I could be earning legitimately online from a business that is not referral based or ponzi I would vehemently disagree. Today I make money weekly from the comfort of my room by just applying some simple skills and strategies I learnt from a video. Atleast I gross 100k per month just doing the above. Hopefully I'm scaling it up soon. To know how this business model work, send me a DM through the link below let me share the video with you for free Link: /mwybysad |

The interesting thing about this internship is the fact that you get paid weekly performance stipend which will be determined by the Sidehustle team. This serves as motivation and encouragement for us to focus and learn all that is present to us. As side this, we will be receiving certificate at the end of the training which can included in our CV. I mean, they are lots of goodies to be taken from this program. Just do well to follow the instructions and sign up appropriately. |

Let me drop my few cents here concerning the issue of the seemingly lopsided payments of the survival fund. I was fortunate to be among the beneficiaries in the first batch which lasted from November last year to this year January. Prior to our applications for the scheme, the memo was widely circulated for weeks for all to see and key into. The major challenge for most persons is not getting their business registered with corporate affairs commission hence they lacked CAC which was key for the application. Hence, only a few thousands applied in the first batch I think it was around 180k then and the scheme is meant to cater for 500k employees. Due to this disparity in the figures, the 2nd batch was scheduled. Although a lot of people were yet to access the funds in many states but some states quicky filled up their quota and left with few hundreds or thousands for their quota to get full. So before the commencement of the 2nd batch application states whose quota were yet to be met was published and the number of available slot was equally stated. I think that is where most people fumbled during this 2nd batch, some people went ahead to apply with states whose quota where already met or states with just a few slots available. This is what is largely responsible for the non payment to some persons. Another reason for non payment is wrong CAC numbers and account details. That's my few cents. |
Only 3 have gotten in my company out of 9 and all the 3 are UBA bank. the other 2 with uba and other banks have not been paid. which kind of disorganized payment is this? |
Hammyaladin:You will still get paid oga relax the calls are just formality. |
Beedude:I like your enthusiasm. Let's hope we get paid today, perhaps the commercial banks are still processing our payments. 146k payroll support and 46k Msme grant isn't a small task. Let wait till tomorrow and see. |
This guys should pay ppl their money and stop creating this unecessary tension. Is it until die of high bp or hunger? Common! |
[quote author=Virus99 post=99834730]Dude can you just STFU ! Abi where you see FG talk say na Artisans/Transportation. They called something "Payroll Support" for all company with CAC...you are here carrying beans. Obviously you know nothing about this. Instead of passing unfounded opinion all around, why don't you just let the experienced batch A people give proper insight.[/quot Babaaaaaa! Lol |
If they will continue with the format used for the 1st batch, payment will likely commence tomorrow. |
Banter1:Relax call still in progress. The usually last for 2 weeks then payment follows immediately. |
