this is a shame. does that means Nigerians are substandard? the outgoing coach did not loose a single match and yet he was sacked. that makes me wonder what is the meaning of success in football administration? i have a suggestion since we are slaves of the white skin according to those criminals in the NFF. the administration of football management should be given to the experts the we should have a foreign NFF management to correct the wrongs of the glass house. pinnick should give us a knowledgeable foreign President of NFF for a better Nigeria. he should sack himself |

They are all absorbed into the infantry. And none have any link to the terrorist group. This year's SS training is still ongoing in Lagos so were does the reported 30 come from? |

the DSS are wrong in this case. what used to happen before should not be allowed this time. the President need to call them to order and the governors need to up their commitments. the luck warm attitudes need to be stopped. if all governors are like el-rufai. wike. ambode there will be less agitations |

Nigeria needs to set the right priority and stop the unnecessary import regime. only real manufacturers should be helped , we have 36 states and in each state the real operational companies were known by the officials so that should be the guide to import concessions. Also government should start a policy of taking over the redundant non operational companies and giving them to serious investors. this is a tough policy, right? Government should create a new tax on companies i. e. on those that are shut down or non operational. Any company that did not operate within 10 days should pay the government extra 3% of the companies real value as a tax at the end of the month. and if it is non operational for the duration of 30 days the tax should be 5% of real value apart from the normal tax they pay. if after 6 months of non operational the government should acquire the company at 50% real value and subsiquently auction it at between 60-70% of its value to other investors. on the part of the government letter of credit from central bank should be processed from these manufacturers within 48 hours of their application to buy machineries and spare parts from abroad. they dont need to go to FOREX to source for dollars, the letter of credit should not exceed 25% of company's value because of the taxation and benefits the owners will not want to fake the real value of their companies |

mikolo80:Concentrated as in night ?go and learn . Ask your Google what is the efficiency of solar system vis a vis other conventional power sources. Solar can only be used in very light power application eg computer and security system. Go and check what you need to use 1 hot pressing iron of averagely 2000w you need 1. 30 pieces of solar panels they are rated at 75w each.(at 100% efficiency which is impossible) 2. 10 heavy duty car batteries of 200Ah each. 3. 2.5KVA inverter atleast 45000-70000 naira depending on manufacturer. The above assortment will enable you to use your pressing iron to iron your clothes Note: efficiency of open system is always between 45-50% as such you need about 50 solar panels in reality and remember the number of hours you can use it in a day which is about 6 hours a day I repeat conventional power stations or nuclear are the only viable options Also my job gave me first hand experience on solar and other sources ie generators every single day i am using both systems i don't need theoretical Google write up. Today if Nigeria is to adopt solar i will be among the first 100 engineers to benefit personally but at the expense of the state. So personally I have alot to gain by the state adopting the solar option |
The leader of al-Qaeda-linked Islamist group Ansaru has been arrested in Nigeria, authorities there say. A military spokesman said Khalid al-Barnawi was captured in Lokoja, capital of the central state of Kogi. The US had placed a $5m (£3.5m) bounty on his head after branding him one of three Nigerian "specially designated global terrorists" in 2012. Ansaru is a splinter group of Nigeria's largest jihadist group, Boko Haram, known for kidnapping foreigners. Ideologically aligned to al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, it is also accused of killing a number of Westerners. Ansaru said it carried out an attack on a maximum security prison in the Nigerian capital Abuja in 2012, freeing dozens of inmates. "Security agents made a breakthrough on Friday in the fight against terrorism by arresting Khalid al-Barnawi, the leader of Ansaru terrorist group in Lokoja," military spokesman Brigadier General Rabe Abubakar said. "He is among those on top of the list of our wanted terrorists."

A cowboy was overseeing his herd in a remote mountainous pasture in California when suddenly a brand-new BMW advanced toward him out of a cloud of dust. The driver, a young man in a Brioni suit, Gucci shoes, RayBan sunglasses and YSL tie, leaned out the window and asked the cowboy, "If I tell you exactly how many cows and calves you have in your herd, Will you give me a calf?" Bud looks at the man, obviously a yuppie, then looks at his peacefully grazing herd and calmly answers, "Sure, Why not?" The yuppie parks his car, whips out his Dell notebook computer, connects it to his Cingular RAZR V3 cell phone, and surfs to a NASA page on the Internet, where he calls up a GPS satellite to get an exact fix on his location which he then feeds to another NASA satellite that scans the area in an ultra-high-resolution photo. The young man then opens the digital photo in Adobe Photoshop and exports it to an image processing facility in Hamburg , Germany . Within seconds, he receives an email on his Palm Pilot that the image has been processed and the data stored. He then accesses an MS-SQL database through an ODBC connected Excel spreadsheet with email on his Blackberry and, after a few minutes, receives a response.. Finally, he prints out a full-color, 150-page report on his hi-tech ,miniaturized HP LaserJet printer, turns to the cowboy and says, "You have exactly 1,586 cows and calves." "That's right. Well, I guess you can take one" says Bud. He watches the young man select one of the animals and looks on with amusement as the young man stuffs it into the trunk of his car. Then Bud says to the young man, "Hey, if I can tell you exactly what your business is, will you give me back my animal?" The young man thinks about it for a second and then says, "Okay, why not?" "You're a Congressman for the U.S.A. Government", says Bud. "Wow! That's correct," says the yuppie, "but how did you guess that?" "No guessing required." answered the cowboy. "You showed up here even though nobody called you; you want to get paid for an answer I already knew, to a question I never asked. You used millions of dollars worth of equipment trying to show me how much smarter than me you are; and you don't know a thing about how working people make a living - or about cows, for that matter. This is a herd of SHEEP. .... Now give me back my DOG. |
If this is northern Nigeria some people will start abusive comments but this is the epitome of their civilisation ie USA . what is the response? |
Goingto the bush with only two(2) escorts is suicidal. Agreed they need to go does that means the village can only spare two men as escorts? Also every community in that part must have an advance warning alarm. And a coordinated response, now atleast ten families where affected. To the military why i am not very harsh towards them is that they only work with command they cant leave there designated post to be following women to the bush, as this maybe a plan to draw them away from their posts. This is a very difficult scenario for both the villagers and the security personnel they need to work with a Better synergy and corporation. |
be very specific with your question to receive helpful response |
