See you are guilty of what you are accusing the yorubas of.

You are calling the guy Yoruba because he said SS are not joining Igbo.

Everyone knows tsdarkside here as a south south person, even he doesn't hide it you and your people do your own tribe.

Tsdarkside is Yoruba. I have been on Nairaland for a long time and have known him well. He only claims "south-south" when it's time to insult Igbos or cause division between the South-East and the South-South.

Any Igbo man investing outside Igbo land is fooling himself.

Exactly. Investing abroad is fine (as long as you're also investing back home) but investing anywhere else in Nigeria is futile.

Some people have forgotten that this is exactly what Buhari did when he first came into power. Claim to be fighting corruption; go after a few of your enemies under this guise; replace them with your friends/tribesmen and then leave them to continue said corruption.

Tinubu's reign will be worse than Buhari's. If you are capable of leaving Nigeria and living a good life abroad, please do so now.

Something ridiculous is happening in Nigeria. When Goodluck Jonathan was president, Yorubas kept attacking him daily, along with his ministers from SE and SS. Those from the North were never blamed. The likes of Sambo Dasuki, Maina etc that committed massive frauds were never attacked by them.

Then Buhari came, they turned full circle and realized that it's ministers and Nigerians that must be blamed when things go wrong, and not the president. Now, they're celebrating the suspension and arrest of Emefiele as if he the one responsible for all of Nigeria's problems. Yet Buhari that employed him and gave him orders, non of them is even mentioning him talk more demonizing him.

If Buhari were to be from SS or SE and Emefiele happens to be from North, all their attacks would have been on Buhari while Emefiele will be ignored. I hope Nigerians are seeing this dangerous pattern.

Let's just leave these Nigerians to do as they please. Focus on the East and let them run their country in whichever way they think is best.

Many Igbos in Diaspora are heavily investing in Nnewi. One of the best place to buy Land is Umudim Nnewi. One of the visible Landmarks that is attracting lots of investors is the permanent Site for Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching Hospital.

What we really need to focus on is agriculture. We need to be growing the food we eat. Nigeria is an 'import' country and the South-East is no different.

We also need to implement a more profound reforestation to combat erosion.

You want us to be one with people that did this to my ancestors?
You want us to be one with people that have vehemently refused to apologize for almost wiping us out because we wanted to stay in Nigeria?

God will punish you.

According to the document you've posted, the Nigerians killed 2000 of your people in Calabar. Has Nigeria apologised for that?

All of the Eastern region was affected by starvation and conscription. We've all got stories of relatives being forced to fight in the war. It is not unique to one particular village.

That is the nature of war. It is horrible and it is evil. Ojukwu would have never seceded if Easterners (that is including Kalabari people) weren't being slaughtered like chickens in the North.

I'm sorry for what your people went through — it was wrong and brutal. However, if you take a deeper look into what is going on in Nigeria today, you will know that the Igbo people are not your enemies.

Funny how They can't seem to show love to themselves and even discriminate themselves but yet want love from others especially from the Yorubas. Confused lot having misplaced priorities. I dont see this kind of self-depreciating, condescending nonsense when others outside igboland dare to critic politicians and advocate for a third way.

They want Igbos to suffer because despite daring to seek our freedom and suffering for it, we are still here. If they look deep within themselves, they know that Nigeria is not working. They do not believe in One Nigeria. They want their own country but are afraid to go and get it.

Good day.

Even non-Nigerians will be able to see how much these people hate anything Igbo. Their tribalism has given them selective memory. Did they forget how many of them spoke of Jonathan? Wole Soyinka called Jonathan's wife a Sheppopotamus yet nobody claimed Yorubas as a whole lacked respect.

Many of them only understand Igbo culture by what they've seen in Nollywood or their media and it's warped their minds.

I am not a writer because I don't plan to become one now or in the nearest future so please manage my use of words.

I hardly advise people especially adults because I have this belief that a person above 18 years should be able to reason and do things in the normal way.

I hard to force myself to write this because I know it will not go viral due to my style of writing. Infact I will be so happy to pay a prolific writer whom I can pour my heart to while he writes in a more captivating way so that it can go viral.

Let me go straight to the point; I am writing to my Igbo brothers to see beyond what is really happening in Nigeria politics today. I am always sad when I see influencers like David Hundeyin, Aisha Yesufu, Chude and the others slandering and dishing out propagandas towards other political opponents. You might call me whatever names you like or you might call me a bigot; it's fine. But I will just pour out my mind and move on.

Beginning from 1960, the 3 major ethnics have tasted the presidency during the military era, Aguyi Ironsi, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Tafawa Balewa, the first Yoruba man to become the head of state is Olusegun Obasanjo. I don't want to dwell much on past history so as not to open healing wounds.

The damages these influencers are causing the Igbos will mar future chances of Igbo presidency; Soludo gave comments on all these but he was bullied and Insulted online. People who have worked beyond just their circle of friends or tribes alone knows how politics works in Nigeria. We all say a picture of Jonathan with Tinubu online in a happy mood. Despite all the attacks Tinubu media team launched against Jonathan government prior to the build up to 2015 elections. How come such person will still be laughing with someone who took the presidency from him? But what most people don't know, is that sensible politicians play what we call underground games and that t is how politics is played.

In politics you don't create enemies forever; you build bridges, you learn to appreciate your hosts and speak good of your hosts. Only your region cannot give you the presidency, reach out to people that matters. Lobby with the ruling party if you don't have the power to endure and build a formidable political party like Asiwaju. Strike at the right time with your connections. Peter Obi made a grave mistake when he came to Lagos by not visiting the Oba of Lagos(I won't say much on this but people of wisdom will understand better).

Stop this mentality that your tribe is better than every other tribes. Your gentility doesn't mean you are coward. Yoruba used to say that if you prostrate for a dwarf doesn't mean your height will be reduced when you stand up.

I am appealing to my Igbo brothers to caution all these people pushing them against the opponents. You don't bully people, you don't defame people to power it's not possible. David Hundeyin is from Badagry. FG has approved the Badagry port; which will bring massive development. Aisha's region too is witnessing massive development . But these people keep pushing you guys and you all are cheering them up. Reflect on this

Shalom.

It's good that you've admitted that igbo land has purposely been underdeveloped in favour of other regions in the country.

We have our own saying as well: Let the kite perch and let the eagle perch too. If one says no to the other, let his wing break.

Good you're civil. Let me give an analogy
The causes of cancer, for instance an ionising radiation from the sun can trigger changes in the conjunctival thereby causing cell damages that can cause cells to start forming cancer even when the stimulus (sun) has been removed because the damage has already been done

Kanu is like the ionising radiation from the sun which after been removed did not cause the cancer not to form (in this case the gunmen) because it has already set the insecurity in the region in motion, so whether he's available or not will drive the insecurity which is what we have today. Ịnụgo?

You are acting like insecurity in Anambra is anything new. There had been relative peace in the state due to Obi (and some would argue) Ngige's governance. The same politicians causing trouble then are the same ones causing trouble now. Keep blaming IPOB whilst the real blood suckered roam free.

Stop listening to these Igbo haters. They want us to suffer so that they can feel better about themselves. That's why they hate IPOB.

Btw, I forgot to say. Rest in peace to all the departed. Amen.

I'm beginning to think that you don't.

You tried to curse me by claiming that my ancestors killed thousands of Nigerian children in the war. I then informed you that my ancestors didn't even fight in the war (not corrobating what you said about Igbos killing thousands of Nigerians, btw).

You then said that I was indirectly admiting that my ancestors killed thousands of Nigerian children, which is entirely flawed because:

1) I already told you that my ancestors did not fight in the war.
2) I highly doubt what you claim is even true. How many Nigerian adult civilians were recorded as having died in the war, talk less of children?

Btw, that was a rhetorical question. Don't bother answering because I won't be reading it.
