AuschwitzPrefec: If you don't know that there are Igbos in the South-South then you must not really be from the South-South. Go and study your country's geography before typing nonsense. |

AuschwitzPrefec: Can you tell the difference between an Oyigbo man and an Ngwa man? Answer as honestly as possible please. |

NtoAkwaIbom: Tell that to the ones branding Hilda Baci an Igbo girl or the ones who claimed Diezani was Igbo or the countless other examples. Like I said, I pity you people because when the time comes, those people will show you their true colours and you will not be able to hide behind Igbo people. |

NtoAkwaIbom: Do you think that if you shout it loud enough, these people will stop regarding you as Igbo? When will you people finally realise the average Yoruba or Northerner cannot tell the difference between an Igbo man and a Kalabari man? Heck, Yoruba people were even persecuting other Yorubas because they 'looked' Igbo and you think that you'll be free. I truly pity you people because you really have no idea what Nigeria has installed for you once you stop being useful. |

Politics / Re: Any Rerun Election Should Be Between Atiku And I - Tinubu Tells Court by Ngozi123(f): 12:45pm On Jul 23, 2023 |
If he believes that he truly won the election then wouldn't he want Obi to compete in the re-run? Obi supposedly took votes that Atiku would have received, which enabled Tinubu to win. If he really said this then it is an admission that Obi was the real winner of the presidential election. 4 Likes |

sreamsense: You people can keep waiting for Obi to give you the answers till kingdom come but the fact of the matter is that you and those like you have claimed that Tinubu is the best Nigeria has to offer so why do you even care what Obi would have done? Isn't he supposed to be inferior to Tinubu (according to you and your likes)? 22 Likes 1 Share |

seeme2: Just look at this nonsense here. You admit that Igbos are kind to strangers and especially kind to your people yet actively oppose them politically. If any Igbo man/woman needs confirmation that Nigerians hate them, please read this post here. Btw, of course, it's possible to be successful even if your government doesn't want you to be. This kind of mentality is why Nigeria is not progressing as a country. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Owerri Residents Scamper For Safety As Unknown Gunmen Terrorize Akwakuma by Ngozi123(f): 6:42am On Jul 09, 2023 |
Isn't it strange that the two states where APC are ruling in the South-East are the only ones to have been hit by these so-called sit-at-home enforcers? |
Politics / Re: Nnamdi Kanu: Frederick Forsyth Seeks Nigeria’s Suspension From Commonwealth by Ngozi123(f): 7:38am On Jun 27, 2023 |
Ajagunakin: This is the type of comment someone who does not know what they're talking about makes. You cannot provide proof because there is none. List of things IPOB have actually done: 1) Organise peaceful protests (before being slaughtered by the Nigerian military/police) 2) Organise sit-at-home protests in the South-East (since being out and about is obviously a prerequisite to being murdered in Nigeria). 3) Create Eastern Security Network in order to combat the Fulani herdsmen terror in the South East (which they've been doing rather successfully) None of these are 'terrorist' actions. Not in a Banana Republic like Nigeria. |

Politics / Re: As A Southern Ethnic Minority, This Is My Problem With Igbo And Yoruba by Ngozi123(f): 11:56am On Jun 19, 2023 |
MTNnews: Click on this link. https://twitter.com/Irunnia_/status/1667501908926382082 When the North decided to kill Igbos during the pogroms of 1945, 1953 and 1966, were South-South people spared? When the South-Westerners in Lagos decided to steal Igbo people's properties, were South-South people spared? When APC supporters attacked Igbo voters in Lagos, were South-South people spared? We all know you people talk out of both sides of your mouth because on one hand, you claim that there are no Igbos in the South-South but on the other hand, you label the coup headed by Chukwuma Nzeogwu, 'an Igbo coup. |
Politics / Re: As A Southern Ethnic Minority, This Is My Problem With Igbo And Yoruba by Ngozi123(f): 6:42am On Jun 19, 2023 |
Ofunaofu: Not only did they cause his defeat, they also insulted him and his wife. If Obidients insult Tinubu, they'll say that Igbos are rude and have no home training. The South-East governor's caucus actually came out at the 11th hour to say that would support Akpabio yet some are saying that Igbos hate South-South people. Look at the voting patterns since Nigeria became a democracy and you will see who is for who and who is against who. |
Politics / Re: As A Southern Ethnic Minority, This Is My Problem With Igbo And Yoruba by Ngozi123(f): 6:31am On Jun 19, 2023 |
MTNnews: Keep fostering enmity between Igbos and other tribes in Southern Nigeria. At the end of the day, just like with the elections of 2015, you will expose yourselves again. I just pity any one who falls for this propaganda as the average Yoruba man cannot tell the difference between Calabar and Igbo, Isoko and Igbo etc. |

mdimefields: That Aguiyi-Ironsi is cause of the unitary system in Nigeria is the biggest lie in Nigeria's history. The way to debunk huge lies like this is through logic. If Aguiyi-Ironsi was the brains behind the unitary system then why did Gowon and co not revert back to regionalism after murdering him and taking charge less than two months after the plan was supposedly implemented? People should remember that this happened nearly a year before the war started so I don't want to see anyone using that as an excuse. 1 Like 1 Share |

Anti-igbo hatred is commonplace on Nairaland and Nigeria as a whole. To be honest, I think it’s the only thing that's keeping the country together. |

Musrataman: Igboland has coal, natural gas and oil. We also have the most important resource, human resources. We are blessed because due to Nigeria's obsession with underdeveloping our land, a lot of these resources haven't really been tapped into. Should we leave, you'll know what I'm talking about. |
Politics / Re: Igbos Are Forcing Me To Recognize Myself As Igbo (photos) by Ngozi123(f): 9:10pm On Jun 12, 2023 |
tuzle: Thank you for being honest here. Everyone and their dog knows that most South-Westerners and Northerners cannot tell the difference between an Ibibio and an Igbo person. You have seen this in the numerous pogroms in the North; you have seen this in the recent Lagos Governorship elections but still many don't want to learn. The only thing I'm happy about is the Igbos in the South-South regions know themselves. We know them and they know us and we will never leave our brothers behind. The non-Igbos (including Ikwerre) can go and form their own country or stay in Nigeria if they like. It's not our business. |
Politics / Re: Igbos Are Forcing Me To Recognize Myself As Igbo (photos) by Ngozi123(f): 8:59pm On Jun 12, 2023 |
ahaz: Honestly, Igbo people should just leave these people alone. Yoruba and Hausa people have shown them countless times that they see no difference between them and Igbo people yet they don't want to listen. We need to take our people (those who are proud to call themselves Igbo) and form our own country. Leave them to be minorities (in terms of tribe and religion) in Nigeria. |
Politics / Re: Emefiele Is The First Igbo Man To Fall Victim To Tinubu by Ngozi123(f): 3:26pm On Jun 11, 2023 |
anyilalaz: Exactly. The OP is only trying to highlight their two-facedness when it comes to Igbo communities located outside of the South-East. They are saying that Emefiele is not Igbo in order to get more Igbos to attack him, furthering the divide between us and the Ika community. If we put forth an Igbo son or daughter to replace him as CBN governor, you will see every single one of them come out to claim "Igbo domination of CBN" and that Emefiele is Igbo. We know them and we know their tactics. 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Emefiele Is The First Igbo Man To Fall Victim To Tinubu by Ngozi123(f): 3:09pm On Jun 11, 2023 |
gidgiddy: They have started to use their "divide and conquer" strategy again. We know how it is; should an Igbo person try and defend him, they will say "he's not Igbo, he's Ika" in order to discourage him. However the second an Igbo person suggests that an Igbo man/woman should be the next CBN governor, they will then say that Emefiele is an Igbo man. I just hope Ika people are watching. These people are doing a tremendous job at exposing themselves . |
