Mr. Femi honestly if not for love of God I would have said curse be the day you came into this world.you talk like one who is not lettered at all.femi adesina define minority and majority.who is the minority.you sound so arrogant and wicked.kerosene used by majority is scarce and unaffordable.fuel is 145 a litre.mudu of rice is 500 /550, mudu of beans-400, bottle of red oiil- 300/350, 12.5kg of gas now 3800/4000, transport fare is not left out yet femi adesina simply because God pitied you after all your efforts in painting past administration black and gave you job therefore you have forgotten the former prices of some items.honestly, you dont sound like a refined media person.the earlier you leave that minority to join the majority and say the truth, the better for you and your generations.i was recently in a market where an old man walked up to me and was begging for just 20 (which is no longer just) to eat.of course I ended up sparing 100, fellow naija come see joy, excitement, gratitude unimaginable from this papa.yet adesina femi is feigning big man because you are working for buhari.are you aware that pots of food are now being stolen due to hunger in the land.
Couldnt you have just acknowledged the fact that times are hard, many nigerians are suffering but that in due course things will turn around for good.
If not for civilisation, I almost felt like destroying the radio to grab you by the neck . Instead of you to help your oga by consoling us and pleading with the minojority (better defined for you this way) to be patient, you are acting big man for us.

I use to support obiano but of recent, i came to know the man is a fraudster and an empty noise maker who litter all Nigerian news tabloids with fake achievements.
He has been handling this fulani issue in a very bad manner in anambra but dishing out nonsense and non existent hope that he employed illusional chopper to monitor fulani movement in anambra which is a big fat lie.
Obiano decided to work with propaganda instead of the AVS team with security cars and shotguns peter obi bought for them before he left office. Abia state that lack good vigilante force with proper equipments are taking care of any fulani's threat with action while my state with all the necessities are living in fear.

2018 will justify the means for the way forward.
When I said obiano has bitten more than he could chew , people thought I was joking, kill human being you pay 500k, kill a cow you pay between 150-200k and you applauded yourself.just because obiano wants to go for 2nd term , he does not want to offend buhari yet he cant stand for his people.obiano jisike.you bought helicopter for private use and made so much noise over surveillance on anambra borders.fayose just did what a lot of you are scared of doing.call a spade a spade.a murderer is a murderer and should not be spared if found guilty.

PoliticsRe: Ijaw People Must Produce Avengers, tompolo - Army by ngoziama: 8:41am On May 30, 2016
walasky:
THE Joint Task Force (JTF) has given ultimatum to the residents of Ijaw communities to produce High Chief Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo.

They equally insisted that militants bombing oil and gas installations in Delta and Bayelsa states must be fished out.

The ultimatum, the aftermath of weekend search for more militants must have informed why the residents were said to have fled into the bush under a down pour when the military invaded the communities.

Confirming the development, an Ijaw community leader and Chairman of Kokodiagbene Town Union, Comrade Sheriff Mulade, who spoke from Kokodiagbene, said that passengers’ boats were impounded and thoroughly searched.

“As we are talking, no boat is coming in or going out. They have barred the people of Oporoza from fishing activities. The people cannot go out to get anything; they are intimidating the villagers that they must produce Avengers (Niger Delta Avengers) and Tompolo.

“Meanwhile, all the students, children and women are in the forest and there is a deliberate blockage of the waterways and food shortage is on the increase, military approach is not the best option; dialogue is the way.

“Any nation that continues years after years to spend more money on military defence rather than programmes of social upliftment is approaching a spiritual doom,” he said.

He appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to withdraw the military from Oporoza community and position them in a strategic locations to prevent the Niger Delta Avengers from further vandalism of pipeline and oil installation.

“The communities are deserted as more troops have been deployed to Oporoza and the surrounding hamlets, creating fears in the people,” Comrade Sheriff said.

“We welcome the military because of the activities of NDA and pirates. We believe the military will stem the tide of the activities, but the humiliation and intimidation of innocent citizens is unacceptable and unconstitutional.”

He added, “The NDA do not reside in Gbaramatu. They have adopted guerilla tactics to perpetrate their evil acts. The people are living in abject poverty and the Nigerian state should not add more hardship on them.

“The ecosystem is destroyed by the bombing, but the way the military is going, it will be difficult for the people to cooperate with them. The people cannot be tortured and you expect them to give you information. It is not possible.”

http://.com/ijaw-people-must-produce-avengers-tompolo-army/
Jesus Christ! !!! If this story is true then I advise ijaw people to go seek further assistance from countries like Russia . imagine this so called body called nigerian army, did jonathan's government ever blocked roads to the north insisting that shekarau be produced.did obama and bush shut down the whole arab nation asking them to produce osama.what a hell!!! What are military trainings and intelligence for. The stupid country uses its own intelligence to fight corruption arresting innocent nigerians and leaving the armed robbers in government.
Ijaw people even the rest of the world would watch to see if you shall betray your own.
Buhari seek prayers and ask God for better sense of direction. When ireland took to bombings on the so called great britain, , they were forced to even beg them leave Uk.Even the blind knows that nda and boko haram are not the same yet some selfish and disgruntled elements are advising buhari to treat them same.
Buratai you will only end up whipping on sentiments for the niger delta and by the time the likes of cnn, aljazeera and Russian journalists enter that region, they will crumble this government and use you as examples.you may say that obasanjo did it at odi and lived on, the world has become more sophisticated and video of such atrocities could ignite crises in already torn and hunger ridden nigeria.
If only yaradua of blessed memory had enough strength honestly nigeria would have been betteroff.
FG tread carefully in delta region.i bet the likes of amaechi and dakuku are all excited but remember that home is home.having spent years abroad and still spending I prefer my home my village anytime.Seek ye all peace and resolve this niger delta issue.Buhari eschew pride, , retract your statements of 97% and 5% and as a good leader like what the new austrian president said, I shall build bridges and bring all parties together.
Some may call this rubbish but remember that nigeria has been greatly divided along ethnic and religious lines.boko haram never wanted amnesty , all they wanted was a sovereign state, boko haram had sympathies from its people, infact the sympathy made them become bolder , , it became difficult for even elders there to condemn boko haram atrocities .little did we know that the truth that the elders killed would contribute to further disintegration of nigeria.the ndas are obviously on a revenge mission but it is not late to seek peace.i therefore call on buhari to reach out to people like timi alaibe who are grassroot people and not abuja politicians to re-negotiate with the delta people and avert this crises that could bring nigeria to her knees.

PoliticsRe: Fulani Herdsmen Trade Compensations With Umumbo Farmers (pix by ngoziama: 5:40pm On May 26, 2016
obiremy:
Obiano Set Example As Fulani Herdsmen Trade Compensations Wit Umumbo Farmers(pix

As the nation continues to grapple with the growing menace of Fulani cattle herders, the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano may have set a worthy example with Wednesday’s exchange of monetary compensations between Fulani herdsmen and the people of Umumbo, an agrarian community in Ayamelum Local Government Area of the stamostte for losses incurred by both parties during a recent conflict.
In recent times, tension had mounted between the Fulani cattle grazers who had waged a running battle with Umumbo farmers leading to fears of imminent attack coming on the heels of the mass slaughter of the residents of Nimbo, a neighbouring community across the border in Enugu State.
However, the Special Committee that the governor had set up to mediate between cattle grazers and the agrarian communities had brought its full weight to bear on the lingering dispute, leading to the decision to pay mutually agreed compensations for infractions committed by each party against the other.

Following the terms of agreement between both parties, the Fulani herdsmen paid the sum of N500,000 each for two Umumbo farmers that lost their lives in the clash with the herders and N150,000 for a casualty who sustained severe machete cuts. The Umobo farmers on their own part paid the sum of N500,000 each for two Fulani herdsmen that also died in the clash and another N4.5m for 97 cows that were slaughtered in the conflict.
Speaking at the exchange of compensations, Governor Obiano re-emphasized that the payment of compensations was one of the terms of peace agreed to by all the parties involved in the Special Committee on Cattle Menace which is made up of the leaders of the Fulani herdsmen, leaders the agrarian communities, the Nigerian Police and the government of Anambra State.

According to him, the compensations were not to be taken to represent the true value of the losses incurred by all the parties involved in the conflict but merely serve as symbols of a collective resolve by both parties to co-exist in peace and harmony going forward.
He commended the Committee for stamping its authority on the peace process and ensuring that the parties in dispute were sufficiently persuaded to work for peace, noting that through their prompt intervention, Anambra had remained insulated from the growing menace of Fulani herdsmen that is currently ravaging the country.

Governor Obiano further assured all Nigerians living in Anambra State that his administration would do everything possible to protect their lives and property in the state and urged the Fulani herdsmen to closely monitor the movements of their itinerant kinsmen passing through the state to ensure that they did not leave a trail of blood in their wake.
Earlier in his opening remarks, the State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hosea Karma who chairs the Special Committee on the Menace of Cattle herders had explained that the compensations were traded to cushion the losses incurred by both parties and assured that investigations were still on to fish out the culprits on both sides and have them prosecuted.

Similarly, in their separate remarks, the traditional ruler of Umumbo community, Igwe Ikechukwu Chidubem and the Sarikin Fulani in the state, Alhaji Gidado Sadiq expressed their gratitude to the governor for what they described as his “excellent security management strategy,” which ensured that peace prevailed in the face of imminent conflict and gave their assurances that both communities would work for peace going forward.
Also speaking at the ceremony, the widow of one of the slain farmers in Umumbo, mrs. Eucharia Okafor, the greatest achievement of the initiative was the restoration of peace in Umumbo after a very long period of fear of imminent attack by the murderous herdsmen.

Giving an insight into the achievements of the Committee since inception in February this year, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Secuirty, Mr. O’star Christopher revealed that the committee had amicably resolved such issues in 10 communities across Anambra State including Urum, Mkpunando, Eziagulu-Otu, Enugwu-Otu, Nando, Nteje, Ukwulu, Igbariam, Awba-Ofemili, Agulu-Ezechukwu and Ogboji where compensations were paid in various sums.
As a sign of the final resolution of the conflict and the restoration of peace, the leaders of the Fulani cattle grazers had a symbolic handshake with the Igwe of Umumbo to seal the armistice.

Obiano, because you want a second tenure, you have decided to place more value on cows than human lives. Whatever agreement you had on this issue is a sham.why did the state not mention that compensation for first offenders would not hold for their animals except for where a human life is lost.obiano you just entered a tipper full of cows headed to unknown destination. Better finish this deal because the killings will now continue since the killers are now convinced that the cows would be paid for.At least, a cow of 100k should be repaid with 10k so as to show them that grazing illegally on someones farm land will bring more losses to them.infact if I were to tow your path, 5percent compensation for any cow killed and at least 2million for the dead.obiano I pity you because ndi anambra ga aju gi ajuju when you zuzuputa from that seat.

PRESS STATEMENT

My attention and that of the Nigerian public have been drawn to the recent statements made by the British Prime Minister, Mr. David Cameron in which he characterized Nigeria as a "fantastically corrupt country" during his briefing to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth just before theanti corruption summit which was attended by President Muhammadu Buhari in London.

The statements of the British Prime Minister are most unfortunate and unguarded, given the relationship between the Nigeria and Britain, two countries who share very long and deep heritage; and especially as the British PM did not state the basis on which he made such assertion which has now become public. It is also a gross disrespect and a most uncharitable disposition to the Nigerian people who work hard to ear their living and who have made very positive impacts on the lives of British people and their economy. Also, such statements coming from the convener of the summit himself, just before the commencement, suggest that either he doesn't take the summit serious, or he is deceptive in terms of his commitment to the Nigerian government in the fight against corruption.

In the light of this, the British Prime Minister should render an immediate and unreserved apology to the Nigerian people and to President Buhari for those embarrassing comments. As a responsible government and former colonists of Nigeria, my advise is that Britain should handle this matter with the required level of responsibility and prudence so as to avoid a possible breakdown of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

“The military will employ all available means and measures within its rule of engagement to crush any individual or group that engages in the destruction of strategic assets and facilities of the government in the Niger Delta or any other location and they will stand to regret the consequences of their actions. The whole world has seen what they are causing in terms of economic terrorism against the nation and would be treated as criminals in line with the laws of the land.

“While the military and other security agencies would continue to put in place more proactive measures within the creeks and other places to fish out those responsible for the heinous crime, it will remain focused and assure oil companies and law abiding community members of their safety and protection of their sanctity.
I stand to know whether nigeria is fair to nigerians.Buratai, this question is for you and I ask, how many statements did the military release after the agatu massacre, enugu massacre.please do the needful by telling this same world you said is watching. So because your stomachs are now tormented I mean your source of livelihood then you issue statement and deploys all available resources to crush them.well, this maybe the beginning of an unending war that might bring nigeria to her knees . the government is aware of the death of the school children whose vehicle rammed into a tanker that was trying to avoid the fulani cattle.was any statement issued by the government to let us know sanctions that would be taken against them . Today all we hear is how to crush the avengers, how to crush nnamdi kanu, how to crush the rest of nigeria but no statement on how to crush the fulani herdsmen who are now competing with ISIS as to the number of innocent victims killed till date.Well, the british tried it with the northern ireland
Whom they later granted independence.crush the avengers but the truth is ever bitter.what percentage of resources mined in the north are given to the state government then compare it with the niger delta struggle for resource control.well, genocide that took place in odi is about to repeat itself but ask yourself this, did it get better or worse after odi massacre. So buratai and Fg should ask themselves whether crushing is the solution . recently amnesty was granted to some so called repentant boko harams, world acclaimed terrorists and broad daylight murderers and rapists.
In as much as i would proffer dialogue as a solution in the niger delta, I would not hesistate to condemn the bombings which is very detrimental to human and environment.
However, I am sitting back relaxed to watch the drama unfold in the niger delta.

David Cameron has described Nigeria and Afghanistan as "fantastically corrupt" in a conversation with the Queen.

The PM was talking about the forthcoming anti-corruption summit when he made the comments.
It was not clear whether he knew the comments were being recorded.

"We've got some leaders of some fantastically corrupt countries coming to Britain... Nigeria and Afghanistan, possibly the two most corrupt countries in the world," Mr Cameron said.

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby intervened to say: "But this particular president is not corrupt... he's trying very hard," before Speaker John Bercow said: "They are coming at their own expense, one assumes?"
The government will host world and business leaders at the summit on Thursday in London, aiming to "galvanise a global response to tackle corruption".

Cameron nigeria maybe corrupt but I want to say that you are an accomplice to this act because you are presently in charge of the same country which has knowledge that most money deposited in their banks by some nigerians are stolen. I want to add that your country has judiciously traded with such monies that have also yielded interest for those banks. Therefore, if we are fantastically corrupt then britain will also be seen as supportively corrupt

ENUGU—

INDICATIONS emerged, weekend, that Fulani herdsmen have regrouped in bushes on Iga community’s corridor, Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State, to launch another attack, even as the apex socio-cultural group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, met yesterday in Enugu with a call on the Federal Government to boot out of office, all security heads in Enugu State over lapses that culminated in the slaughter of 46 Ukpabi, Nimbo natives last Monday by Fulani herdsmen.

communique made available to Vanguard at the end of the meeting of Imeobi (highest decision organ) of the group, read in part: ”Imeobi expresses disappointment at the obvious security lapses which allowed these heinous acts to be committed in Nimbo community.

“Imeobi, therefore, calls on Enugu State Government and the Federal Government to ensure that a thorough investigation is carried out with a view to ensuring that all those responsible for the lapses are made to account and be punished for their action

“Imeobi mandates Ohanaeze leadership to take all necessary actions to ensure that such incident never again occurs in any other part of the South-East geopolitical zone.

“Imeobi endorses the position of Ohanaeze on rejection of the proposed Grazing Bill. Cattle grazing is private business and, therefore, should not be done in a manner that individual’s or community’s rights are infringed upon.

“Imeobi views with grave concern and unequivocally, condemns the recent slaughter by Fulani herdsmen of our defenceless kith and kin in Nimbo, Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State.”

Herdsmen regroup for another attack

A dependable source told Vanguard, weekend, that the herdsmen had regrouped in bushes on Iga community’s corridor to launch another attack on the community.

The source revealed that the herdsmen were emboldened from the high casualty rate recorded in last week’s attack that caught security operatives napping.

Further investigation by Vanguard showed that a possible clash may be in the offing at Adani community, still in the same Uzo-Uwani council area, between the natives and a densely-populated Hausa community resident in the area.

The northerners, Vanguard gathered, bought parcels of land and built residential houses on them which has, over time, turned a Hausa community settlement at Adani.

But following last Monday’s attack on Nimbo community, the Adani natives are said to be living in perpetual fear. The natives, it was learned, are united on driving away the Hausa community from their area, a situation that is generating tension.

Our yams, this month of May is critical for Jonathan.

He has a date with EFCC before the first anniversary of PMB government.

Recent revelations from those who served in various capacities in his government are sufficient to nail him.

He can keep moving from city to city and country to country, the time is now to retrieve all that his government stole from Nigeria.

Those that love him are beneficiaries of his corrupt government. Nonsense cry

Jonathan sef angry
Hatred for Jonathan is likely to reduce life span of such haters. He who God has made a king no man born of a woman or even animal can take that away from him.I am alive today because God used jonathan to hand over the nation to buhari whose past utterances due to his losses at previous elections before 2015 has sent so many innocent nigerians to the grave.

My generations are already reciting his name.call him evil names but I call him the man sent by God to keep nigeria together.gej muahh muahh muahh I love you sir. .....
PoliticsRe: Blaming Fulani Herdsmen For Benue, Enugu Killings Absurd!!! Sultan Of Sokoto by ngoziama: 7:45pm On May 01, 2016
CyberWolf:
An organisation led by the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, has described as “absurd” and “unfortunate” the widespread insinuation that Fulani herdsmen are responsible for the attacks on villagers in Benue, Enugu, Nasarawa and other parts of the country.
The Jama’atu Nasril Islam, JNI, a coalition of several Islamic groups in Nigeria, stated this on Sunday. The Sultan is the head of the JNI.
In the statement, signed by Khalid Aliyu, the organisation’s secretary-general, the JNI said it was shocked by the attacks.
“Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) received with great shock and deep concern the news of incessant killings and maiming of innocent lives and the destruction of public and private properties.
“Of particular concern are the brutal murders of people in Agatu-Benue state, Nnibo-Enugu state and some parts of Nasarawa state.
“It is indeed alarming that within few weeks, deadly attacks were reportedly unleashed while the perpetrators go un-arrested. JNI therefore condemns in strong terms these repeated heinous attacks and once again calls on the relevant security agencies to brace up to the trends, in order to put a stop to this ugly tide, as human lives are sacred and must be seen to be treated as so,” the statement said.
The JNI said the attacks were criminal in nature and should be treated as such.
“The repeated heinous acts of attacks are crimes against the citizenry and the perpetrators are therefore criminals and must be treated so.”
Foramfera
It, however, said the attacks were not carried out by Fulani herdsmen.
“It is indeed absurd and most unfortunate that certain groups or people ascribe the incidence on ethnic and/or religious premise and to whimsically apportion blame in order to batter the gradual restoration of peace and security in Nigeria,” it said.
The JNI, which commiserated with the victims of the attack, also called for “concerted introspection and commitment by relevant agencies to take proactive and effective measures in addressing this pernicious problem.”
Nigerians have condemned the attacks; and affected communities have blamed security agencies for not protecting them against their attackers who they said were herdsmen. Many Nigerians have also blamed President Muhammadu for not acting strongly enough to condemn the attacks and arrest the perpetrators.
Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka, who criticised the presidency’s response, stated that “I have yet to hear this government articulate a firm policy of non-tolerance for the serial massacres that have become the nation’s identification stamp.”
The JNI, however, said the authorities have absolved the herdsmen, mainly of Fulani ethnicity, of involvement in the attacks. The JNI’s claim is contrary to that of a leader of the Fulani herdsmen who admitted to PREMIUM TIMES that they carried out the attack in Benue as a retaliation to the murder of some of their leaders
“Well, the Commissioner of Police, Enugu State has debunked the rumours, likewise the Inspector General of Police has also debunked the insinuations over those being blamed,” the JNI said.

PRESS RELEASE
JAMA’ATU NASRIL ISLAM (JNI) CONDEMNS THE HEINOUS REPEATED ATTACKS IN NIGERIA AND CAUTIONS ON RUMOURS SPREADING
Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) received with great shock and deep concern the news of incessant killings and maiming of innocent lives and the destruction of public and private properties. Of particular concern are the brutal murders of people in Agatu-Benue state, Nnibo-Enugu state and some parts of Nasarawa state. It is indeed alarming that within few weeks, deadly attacks were reportedly unleashed while the perpetrators go un-arrested. JNI therefore condemns in strong terms these repeated heinous attacks and once again calls on the relevant security agencies to brace up to the trends, in order to put a stop to this ugly tide, as human lives are sacred and must be seen to be treated as so.
JNI and indeed all Nigerians, view the fall out of these repeated attacks, particularly the taking up of arms against other citizens as another trend of insecurity that portends grave danger to the Nation. We must not forget so soon the adverse effect of the so called Boko Haram group, that claimed the lives of many thousands innocent lives. Hundreds have been abducted, the males forced into insurgency and the females into slavery. Millions more are wallowing in Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camps in Nigeria and in Refugee Camps in neighbouring countries. Public and private properties worth trillions of Naira have been destroyed.
We therefore call for a thorough investigation by appropriate agencies in order to fish out the evil perpetrators, bring them to justice and forestall re-occurrence. The repeated heinous acts of attacks are crimes against the citizenry and the perpetrators are therefore criminals and must be treated so. It is indeed absurd and most unfortunate that certain groups or people ascribe the incidence on ethnic and/or religious premise and to whimsically apportion blame in order to batter the gradual restoration of peace and security in Nigeria. Well, the Commissioner of Police, Enugu State has debunked the rumours, likewise the Inspector General of Police has also debunked the insinuations over those being blamed.
We must thus be cautious of packaging crimes on religious and ethnic garments. Crimes are abominable and whoever commits them is criminal. Security agencies should brace up in being proactive and utilize maximally intelligence reports in order to nip-in the board possible eruptions of security problems within and around communities.
Painfully, His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto and President-General, JNI, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, CFR, mni, on behalf of Nigerian Muslims, condoles the families of those who lost their lives and sympathies with all affected victims, and also calls for concerted introspection and commitment by relevant agencies to take proactive and effective measures in addressing this pernicious problem.
His Eminence the Sultan and President-General of JNI, extends profound condolences to the families of the affected victims, government and people of states that lost their loved ones in the unfortunate happenings.
Dr. Khalid Abubakar Aliyu

What is wrong with this region.sultan, what is the problem. The same way you vehemently opposed goodluck's fight against boko haram is now gearing up again.sultan if you have a clue to who the bastards are then tell us.the north reported ihejirika to icc for fighting boko haram and called him names but today buratai's massacring of shiites received accolades .sultan of sokoto if the murderers are not fulani herdsmen then tell us who they are.you are all looking for ways to justify the grazing of those cattle and I bet you that the rest of nigerians would no longer sit back and watch those cattle feast on their crops.Sultan, have you ever asked why peasant farmers are mostly attacked.simply because they try to protect their crops. Well, if may add let these farmers begin to use charms that will cause deadly rashes to come upon any creature that steps on their farm. All these demonstrations, wailings and so on are useless.Let us go back to our traditional practice where pythons would devour strangers with evil intention that enters the community.iam not ignorant of the murderers charms but we all know that charm dey pass charm. Traditional practice is simply the answer and let us see how they would react when inflicted with such plagues, alas it will help us to identify these killer squad on the rampage.
