RomanceMy Father Is The Only Man Who Turns Me On Sexually, 27 Year Old Lady Cries by nickxtra(op): 12:52pm On Aug 28, 2019
The 27-year-old woman who is identified as Serwaah made this revelation in an interview on Adom TV’s Badwam.

She revealed that since she completed junior secondary school(SHS) her father has been ‘sleeping’ with her on countless occasions.

Serwaah also indicated that her father sleeping with her has made her lose attraction for any other man apart from him(her father).

She further revealed that her father sleeps with her other two siblings and although her mother is aware of it she has failed to act which makes her think that she is an accomplice to the shameful act.

Serwaah also revealed that she can not complain about her father sleeping with her to anyone due to fear of death threats

“He sleeps with us on their matrimonial bed which we do not like but we cannot complain much because of death threats he sometimes issues. We have grown up to believe our mother is an accomplice to the act because she is sometimes the one who comes to call us for our father.” Serwaah narrated.

Serwaah added that her father is the one who broke her virginity and that of her two sisters as well

“Our father was the one who broke our virginity and showers us with gifts for us to be comfortable in order not to report him to anyone. I have tried on several occasions to take my life or kill my father. What breaks my heart is my crippled sister confined to a wheelchair that he sleeps with,” she revealed.

“We need help to break from this bondage because it is killing us slowly. I have lost good men who wanted to marry me because of the irresistible desire I have for my father. He should be questioned and arrested over his acts.” she added

PoliticsYou can't see me without the Chief Of Staff, PMB Warned Incoming Ministers by nickxtra(op): 8:03pm On Aug 20, 2019
PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari Tuesday told the incoming Ministers to submit any request meant for him to his Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari and all executive matters to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustapha.

According to him, “In terms of coordination, kindly ensure that all submissions for my attention or meeting requests be channelled through the Chief of Staff, while all Federal Executive Council matters be coordinated through the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. “Public service is not easy work, and at times it can be thankless. I am therefore charging you all to see this opportunity to serve as an honour, to give your best to deliver on this mandate, for a more prosperous Nigeria, not for some, but for all Nigerians. “You will find that working collaboratively and purposefully will enable us to achieve quicker results, recognizing that four years is not a very long time. “For the new Ministers, make sure you engage and benefit from the experience of the older Ministers and former Governors in the cabinet

PoliticsAbuja Residents Cry For Help As Link Bridges Washed Away By Heavy Flood (photos) by nickxtra(op): 12:18pm On Aug 19, 2019
The residents of Obasanjo Road Community in Dutsen Sagbagyi II of Bwari Area Council, Abuja, are crying for help and immediate intervention from the Federal, F.C.T and Bwari Area Council authorities, as the three(3) bridges connectiing the community to the main road(Old Bwari road), have all collapsed and washed away by heavy flood caused by the heavy downpour.

The heavy downpour started in the early hours of Monday and has continued till now, resulting in the total and complete collapse of all the bridges on the only road which connects the community to other parts of the Federal Capital Territory.

As results, residents, majority of who work and do businesses outside the community are left stranded that neither cars, motor cycle and not even legs can pass through the deep valleys/canals and the heavy body of waters flowing through the open valleys.

Obasanjo Road Community, officially called Dutsen Sagbagyi II, is situate in a mountainous/hilly layout behind Dutse Baupma, off Old Bwari Road, off Dutse-Bwari Highway, in Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The community is comprised of Five(5) different layouts/settlements, which include Freedom Avenue Layout, Anglican Street Layout, Obasanjo Road Layout, Mountain Side Layout and New Layout. These layouts are popularly and collectively called Obasanjo Road, Dutse Sagbagyi II Community.

One striking attraction in this community is that it is a new community, which within a few years of its occupation, is known to be a well planned settlement and well designed buildings, which makes it different from many communities that are characterized by haphazard building arrangement and disorderliness.

Since inception, residents of Obasanjo Road Community had shouldered the responsibility of the construction, repairs and maintenance of the major link road, putting and fortifying the bridges and opening up new roads; the residents of community have been buying transformers and providing electricity for themselves and making private security arrangements, all by themselves, through communal efforts, which has made the community a reference point as far as rural planning, orderliness and peace as obtainable in a modern society, are concerned.

Now, residents of the community find it hard to swallow the reality that a road and the bridges they had laboured to construct and constantly maintained, have now been destroyed completely by heavy flood. The residents are crying; they need the help of concerned Nigerians, both from the Government, organisations and individuals to come to thier aid. If nothing urgent is done, the residents would be cut off permanently from the outside world and every business and economic activities would have been completely and permanently grounded.

Moreover, our children would not be able to go school when schools resumes in a matter of days.

According to Mr. Ikechukwu, one of the residents who lives in the Community, "it is really disheartening seeing all our efforts and resources over the years completely washed away".

Mr. Ikechukwu says, he appeals to the appropriate authorities to come to their aid to construct and fix the bridges for the community, as the community may not be able to find the construction of the bridges by the residents alone.

Also lamenting, another member of the community, Mr. Nicholas, who according to him, after receiving a phone call from a resident that a bridge has collapsed, was on his way to see for himself and ascertain the extent of damage when he saw residents gathered in another bridge which was equally completely destroyed, that not even leg can pass through, let alone vehicles.

According to Mr. Nicholas, "We are saddened by this calamity that has befallen this hardworking people of Obasanjo Road Community. This is a collosal damage not only to the fabric of the only road linking and connecting the community to the outside world, but has paralyzed every form of economic and business activity in the community, moreso that no one can pass through anywhere the collapsed bridges to go to work."

He went further to decry a situation where all past appeals that have been made to relevant authorities to come to the aid of the community with respect to these bridges did not yield any positive results from the authorities.

Mr. Nicholas said "the bridges have been begging for better and stronger action to fortify them against heavy rains such that happened last night. We, through the community representatives, i.e. the Exco had written to relevant authorities to come to our help, as the costs required to fortify the bridges against being washed away by heavy rains were beyond our power. Since then, no authority or organisation has done anything before the collapse of these bridges today."

On behalf of the residents of this community, we join in inviting the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Federal Capital Development Authority and Bwari Area Council to come and see for themselves and urgently come to the aid of this community by re- constructing the bridges and the road, so that the residents will not be trapped permanently in their enclave.

We also call upon corporate organisations and individuals, such as MTN, which has one of its communication mast in the community; Dangote Group, National Emergency Management Authority(NEMA), ULO group of companies, which has one of its quarry company in the community; World Bank projects, etc to come to the aid of the community.

FamilyBrother Gets Married To Younger Sister After 10 Years Of Legal Battle(photo) by nickxtra(op): 3:53pm On Aug 17, 2019
New Jersey siblings ( a brother and sister) have won the right to marry after a landmark ruling by the Supreme Court of the United States.

According to local reporters, in a 5-to-4 ruling, five judges unanimously granted the appeal by James Banes, 41, and Victoria Banes, 38, to get married after a ten-year long battles in court.

The over-joyed pair said they did it for the millions of Americans who have consensual incestuous relationships and are living in fear, hence, blasted the Government for wasting taxpayers’ money fighting their challenge for ten years.

“Incest has been practiced by humans since the dawn of time. If Adam and Eve hadn’t done it, the human race would not be here today.” James Banes told local reporters after his historic victory.

The Banes family lawyer, Julianne Grey, argued that criminalizing incestuous marriage while first-cousin marriage was legal in the state of New Jersey, was a nonsensical and discriminatory measure.

“Why am I allowed to bang my cousin but not my sister? It just doesn’t make any sense,” James Banes criticized outside of court.

The couple that was facing up to 15 years in jail said that they were now planning to start a large family and enjoy their newly found freedom.

“We’ve always dreamt of having a big family, now this dream will become a reality.” added Victoria Banes, who also told reporters she is pregnant and expecting twins.

Previously, New Jersey state, laws only allowed first-cousin marriages but since the landmark ruling, New Jersey is now the only state in the country or the world to allow incestuous marriages.

PoliticsObaseki Is My Brother, 'rift' Created By People For Their Interest – Oshiomhole by nickxtra(op): 5:28pm On Aug 13, 2019
National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has said that the alleged rift between himself and his successor, Governor Godwin Obaseki is the creation of people with personal interest, describing Obaseki as his brother.

Oshiomhole said this on Monday night while receiving Governor Obaseki, who led members of his cabinet to celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir Festival with his former boss, at his Iyamoh residence in Estako West Local Government Government Area of the state.

Speaking to journalists after a closed-door meeting which lasted for about an hour, Oshiomhole said the meeting was not unusual as he was in constant touch with Governor Obaseki.

According to Oshiomhole, “from time to time, we have always been meeting. It is not an unusual visit, the meeting afforded me the opportunity to meet with my brother and with people I have worked with.”

Oshiomhole added that it was unfortunate that the media liked creating factions for their own gain.

Obaseki also noted that the visit to his predecessor was not unusual, saying that he decided to celebrate Sallah with his former boss.

He said the visit was to celebrate Edo leaders just as the former APC national chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, was celebrated by the state earlier in the day.

“There is nothing unusual about this meeting; today is Sallah and we have just finished celebrating with the former APC national chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun in Benin City, and we decided to come here to celebrate Sallah with my predecessor,” the governor said.

He added that people who think there was a rift between him and his predecessor should stop thinking.

The Nigeria Police has paid tribute to three of its personnel killed by soldiers along Ibi-Jalingo Road in Taraba State.

It also released the identities and photographs of the affected officers, a day after the Force announced their death as a result of the unfortunate incident.

The slain officers were listed as Sergeant Usman Danzumi, Sergeant Dahiru Musa and Inspector Mark Ediale.

The Force Public Relations Department paid respect to the late officers in a tweet on Thursday entitled “Will Be Forever Remembered”.

According to the police, the slain officers contributed greatly to the progress made in fighting crime in the country.

They were said to be part of the teams that rescued the Magajin Garin, the District Head of Daura, as well as those who arrested 22 members of the Boko Haram sect who abducted the Chibok schoolgirls in Borno State in 2014.

The slain policemen also helped in the arrest of suspected kidnap kingpin, Evans, as well as the arrest of Umar Abudulmalik, the “overall commander” of Boko Haram in the North-Central and several insurgents, among other operations.

In a statement earlier, the Force spokesman, Mr Frank Mba, said the officers were in Taraba to arrest a suspect identified as Alhaji Hamisu Wadume, who was before the incident indicted in a series of high-profile kidnap incidents in the state.

He also alleged that the soldiers set the suspect free after attacking the policemen.

Reacting to the incident, the Nigerian Army authorities, however, said the soldiers felt the policemen were kidnappers.

In their recent tweet, the police released the identities of the men who died in the line of duty, with the message: “Where Is Espirt De Corps” translated to mean a feeling of mutual loyalty and inter-agency harmony shared among security operatives.

EducationUniversity Employs Prof Sacked For Criticising Nigerians’ Maltreatment In Ghana by nickxtra(op): 11:04pm On Aug 07, 2019
The Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, on Wednesday offered employment to Augustine Nwagbara, a Nigerian professor who was sacked by a Ghanaian university.

Mr Nwagbara was in June sent away from the University of Education, Winneba, where he was on sabbatical, after a video of him addressing an informal meeting of Nigerians in Ghana went viral.

In the video, the professor was seen lambasting the authorities for maltreating Nigerians in Ghana and urged his colleagues to employ the Nigerian media to take up the fight.

But Ghanaian authorities and the university described the video as inciting and a threat to peace.

He was also arrested and interrogated by the Ghanaian Police Service over the viral video but was later released.

The Vice-Chancellor of AE-FUNAI, Chinedum Nwajiuba, on Wednesday, organised a grand home-coming reception for the professor where he offered him the opportunity to complete his sabbatical at the university.

Mr Nwajiuba alongside other senior staff of the university, at the reception held at the Vice-Chancellor’s Conference Room, assured Mr Nwagbara of his support.

He said he would do everything possible to make his stay in AE-FUNAI comfortable and remarkable.

“We need to get back our pride, we are great people and you are an enviable example,” added Mr Nwajuba.

He said the young university needs serious-minded people like Mr Nwagbara and urged him to leave the University of Lagos and stay permanently in AE-FUNAI.

“You must believe in something, stand on what you believe”, Mr Nwajiuba said.

The VC, who was very excited, said the university community was proud of Mr Nwagbara and was glad to welcome him in its midst.
The DVC (Administration), Philip Omoke, told the gathering that it was the kind of reception to give to a hero and an achiever.

Responding to the accolades, an excited Mr Nwagbara said he was proud to be in AE-FUNAI and a Nigerian.
He took time to relay his ordeal in Ghana after making the video about the education system in Ghana and the place of Nigeria academia there and in the West Africa sub-region and the video went viral

He asked to be given opportunity while in the university to tell Nigerians what they can gain by promoting their education system and stated that this can best happen through public lectures.

He promised to show gratitude to the university by organising a public lecture this year that would be made a media event.

PoliticsAPC Set To Establish Institute For Progressive Studies by nickxtra(op): 10:53pm On Aug 07, 2019
The national chairman of Nigeria’s ruling party, APC, Adams Oshiomhole, has stated that his party is establishing an institute for progressive studies in Nigeria.

Mr Oshiomhole stated this on Wednesday when he led members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party to a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja.

While briefing journalists at the Villa, he said the meeting was mainly to congratulate the president on his recent victory at the polls.

Mr Buhari was declared the winner of the February 23 presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

He scored 15,191,847 to defeat his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar, of the leading opposition, PDP who polled 11,262,978 votes.

Mr Oshiomhole while explaining the rationale behind the establishment of the institute said it is mainly to educate its members to know more about the ideals of the party.
