With his wealth country "suppose dey rush him" . he can't be given visa because of his corrupt cases. If Atiku loves this country and believes in morality he shud even come out to contest.
In country with high standard of morality, the moment there is an allegation of sharp practices even before proven they resign their appointments not to talk of just going to the office.

Atiku certainly has cases of corruption to answer. It's just that our part of the world is a different world entirely where perceived corrupt persons and exconvicts are revered and celebrated.

Don't arrest him. Go to the FIRS office he is handling your TCC apllication and find out what is going on.
You can even continue from there. FIRS treat people with high respect. You will even be taken directly to the officer handling your file, your file will be opened before you, and you will see any pending issue affecting the delay of your TCC release.

Is there any work in the first place?

Help, i consulted a tax agent (a supposedly Pastor and founder of a Christian based ministry) to help pay and process my company's TCC since February, 2018, but up till now, I have not gotten the TCC issued to me by FIRS. I paid him all the money he requested, both for all tax returns and his fees. Every time I asked, he keeps telling me that he had an issue or error in the filing and that he has filed back to FIRS for processing of my TCC. When I mounted pressure on him, he came with some tax application documents dated August, 2018 which he said were the documents he used in filing for my TCC and that I could present them for contract tender. Its over two months again, I have not gotten the TCC.

Just this night, I called him to ask about my TCC, he said that he is not in custody of the processing; that it is the FIRS that will release it to me when its ready.

I think I am fed up with his explanation. For over 8 months of waiting, this man has not procured the TCC for and this is affecting my chances of securing contracts work I applied for.

My intention now is to get him aressted and report him to ICAN if that will fastrack a quick issuance of the TCC.

The reason I bring this issue here, is to seek advise of any possible way out of this mess that this man has put me.

Indication has emerged that the outgoing Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, may dump the Peoples Democratic Party for the Labour Party, reportedly owing to the failure of his Sokoto State counterpart, Governor Aminu Tambuwal, to emerge as the presidential candidate of the main opposition party.

It was learnt that Fayose might have also indicated interest in realising his presidential ambition on the platform of the LP in the 2019 presidential election.

Fayose had recently threatened to leave the PDP, following Tambuwal’s failure to win the party’s presidential primary.

Speaking in an interview in Abeokuta, the LP State Chairman, Comrade Abayomi Arabambi, said that Fayose had shown interest in contesting for the presidency on the platform of the party.

Arabambi, who noted that Fayose did not tell the leadership of the party that he wanted to dump the PDP because Tambuwal did not emerge as the presidential candidate of PDP, said that the Ekiti governor wanted to join LP because he felt he lacked the necessary support in the PDP.

The LP state chairman, however, maintained that Fayose would not be given an automatic ticket to run for the highest office in Nigeria on the platform of the party, noting that the governor still needed to adhere to the provisions of the party’s constitution before using its platform to realise his presidential ambition.


Arabambi, who said that the LP National Chairman, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir, told members of the party at its National Executive Committee meeting that Fayose had indicated interest to contest presidency on its platform, urged the governor not to use the party as an avenue to ventilate his anger against the PDP.

He said, “Actually, we were duly informed yesterday that Fayose wanted to come out and pick our presidential ticket. We discussed with the national chairman. Don’t forget that Fayose was once in Labour Party and used it to run for Senate. He left the party back to the PDP, but we told them at NEC yesterday that for anybody who wants to join us, there should be an understanding that the candidate will respect our constitution. We don’t want people to think Labour Party is a dumping ground for them to come and ventilate their anger against their former party.”

Meanwhile, the former governor left Ekiti State on Sunday afternoon as his tenure ends midnight of Monday, 15th October, 2018.

Promising the people of Ekiti that he would always be with them, he was also reported to have urged them to trust in God for a better future for him and the state.

He stated this during a thanksgiving held in his honour at the Government House Chapel.

Many of the residents were reportedly shedding tears while lining up the streets to bid him farewell on his way to the Akure Airport, Ondo State.

The Director General of the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Organisation, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has given reasons why Mr. Peter Obi was picked as the running mate to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Abubakar.

The 57-year-old Obi was a former governor of Anambra State and a former Chairman of Fidelity Bank Plc.

In a statement on Friday, Daniel said Mr. Obi’s choice was largely influenced by his youthfulness, vast knowledge of global and local economics as well as being a financial expert, all experience which Nigeria is in great need at this point in time.

“This ticket will be able to steer our nation back on the path of progress, economic prosperity and unity”, Daniel said.

Born 19th July, 1961, Obi attended the Christ the King College, Onitsha and later proceeded to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.

The statement continued, “He is also a graduate of several international and national institutions such as the Lagos Business School, Harvard Business School, London School of Economics, Columbia Business School, Institute of Management, Switzerland, Kellogg Graduate School, Oxford University and Cambridge University.
